I started taking Desert Snow Connection a few years ago and it has changed everything for me. Since I discovered this company, I'm skiing more than I ever have each season. Basically they pick you up on a nice bus at 5am in either Mesa or Phoenix and take you directly to Snowbowl and back (2.5 hours one way). You get back to the Valley around 8pm. There is storage space under the bus for your snow gear, WiFi on the bus and outlets at your seat to charge your phone. DSC does trips daily after Christmas until the season is over. Tickets are usually around $100 and includes transportation and your lift pass (which are handed to you on the bus when you arrive at Snowbowl). They also offer transportation only if you are a season ticket holder. It's an awesome deal and saves you the wear and tear on your vehicle to drive up the mountain and back. Plus you can take a nap on the way back after a long day of shredding. They will make a quick stop at a rest stop for a bathroom break. Seating is first come, first serve. So make sure you arrive at pick-up on time. DSC also does a few out-of-state trips to places like Purgatory and Big Bear. Check out their website for dates. Check them out at the annual winter Ski Pro Avalanche Sale for discounted multi-trip package deals.

No consideration, that customers are out in the heat while they're in the AC. Maybe they need a lesson to learn and go work outside for a little bit and learn the struggle the outside workers have. The mechanics are just trying to do their job while working in the heat. I truly hope the owner is taking care of their people that are working outside and at least have some coolers out there for them. I heard one of the girls say that she was an office managers, and she was always talking the most crap about the outside employees Treat your outside employees way better than that. Those women in the office are horrible. The manager should make them work outside and maybe they will understand, how to treat people.

Surprisingly enough, the first day I was in Scottsdale, it was gray and rainy. Just my luck. But…read morethe Scottsdale Trolley came to our rescue, as we wanted to continue exploring the Old Town area. The Scottsdale Trolley is a FREE, public trolley that runs every 15 minutes. No questions asked, you can hop on the trolley at one of the many stops around the downtown Scottsdale area and ride to your next stop. The route isn't very long. You can actually walk the entire downtown Scottsdale area. But you won't want to do that when it's raining. When we took this on a Tuesday afternoon, there was only one other person on the trolley, so not sure when it gets busy or packed. But we were glad to ride this trolley through town to avoid the rain. It's very cool that the city provides this service for the public.

It's pretty much impossible not to laugh riding around downtown Mesa on these critter-mobiles and it was fun to see the reactions on people's faces as we rode by. We received detailed instructions including parking info and arrived to get situated and select our rides. The rydables are well outfitted and very easy to maneuver. Each had a speaker on it as well as a walkie talkie, so our guide up front could keep instructing us and we could hear that as well as a cheery playlist. Another staff member rides at the back for safety. We ate at several places and definitely had enough food! There was time to relax a bit at each stop. We also stopped for photos a few times and to do something called "the wiggle" which was a highlight. I'd like to try the history tour as well. Definitely recommend this and will do it again!
