Valentina hosted and we walked around a couple of blocks and learned about some very important buildings and its history from old to restored and renovated. We also did some readings on her instruments and confirmed some spooky activities! Although you have to be careful not to use your phone next to the devices. One cool thing I've discovered is a speakeasy that was behind a large hotel in a corner alley and how people from different Midwest states like Illinois for one example would come in and buy buildings and a lot of land. Some buildings were owned by women who were successful and now haunted....!

I went on the bike tour which included the visit to Hole in the Rock. First time on an e-bike and I…read moreloved it! It's literally not strenuous at all despite "bike riding" for many miles. Bill was a great tour guide - very conscious of safety - he uses hand signals to lead the group safely through turns, and when to slow down or speed up. He gave us a tutorial of the bikes and let us practice the handling and controls in the parking lot making sure everyone was comfortable before taking off. The bikes themselves are bulky and very heavy compared to a regular bike, but you'd never know it once the pedal assist kicks on, they ride nice and smooth. (Use that throttle button when trying to accelerate from a stopped position! ). Bill was also super friendly and is native to the area and is very passionate about all there is to see and do in Arizona. I was a solo rider that joined a group of 3, and everyone was friendly and nice- we took pictures for each other and went to the local brewery for an appetizer after our ride. The tri-city area of Tempe, Phoenix, and Scottsdale is very bike friendly and we mostly rode on sidewalks and pedestrian paths, going minimal distance in a bike lane in the street. The scenery is not beautiful like you'd see while in the mountains, but the ride is through parks and along a river walk, so it is scenic, just not the same as what you'd see on a desert hike for instance. Hole in the Rock was a cool spot to take pictures. We rode right to the base, and Bill watched the bikes while the rest of us climbed up for photos. Todd the manager was accommodating to switch my reservation when my inbound flight was delayed and I made a last minute booking on a new day.

Reservations -easy, communication - great, value - outstanding. If you read my reviews you know I don't give five stars, that must be earned. We met at their shop and discovered we will be riding RAD Powerbikes. They were in great shape and we just did a couple adjustments. We ride bikes almost everyday day so we just took a couple laps of the parking lot to get comfortable and then we were off. On our 27 mile journey we went all over town, parks, golf courses, art installations and more. Bill was very good to explain what to expect and how to navigate each segment. We stopped a number of times for photos and Bill shared interesting tidbits about things we were seeing. Just the right balance of riding, talking, photos, etc. We even got a short hike in when we stopped at hole in the rock. On our ride, Bill led the way and we safely navigated trails and bike paths all over town, perhaps multiple towns. So glad we took a tour with a guide, lots of trails and lots to see and we never got lost. The sights are the sights and the trails are the trails. What made this a five star experience was the service and especially our guide. If you are looking for a great ride, give them a call and even ask for Bill...you won't be disappointed...

This particular tour was a musical one with "Moon Dog" singalong type music that was a bit cheesy but fun. The musician was great, the staff was friendly and funny, and the scenery was lovely. We live in Arizona and are familiar with the flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert, and it was such as pleasure to see bighorn sheep, herons, eagles, and more on a single sunset cruise. Great way to explore Saguaro Lake!

I did an ebike tour previously in another state and I can say this e-bike was leagues ahead as far as quality and comfort. Overall, this was a nice scenic tour of multiple golf courses, a waterway, a lake, and some really cool giant horse statues. Our tour guide Jonathan was very informative. We had a microphone device that we could hear out of during the tour when he'd give history lessons and other information about the areas we were passing. They have another route that goes toward Tempe Lake so I would not rule out trying that one day in the future.

I decided to give this tour 4 stars instead of 5 though because there were several times where the headset/microphone was not able to reach us (no fault of Nick's) so I wasn't able to hear all the things he was sharing. Otherwise, you truly do not have to pedal at all unless you want to, and I never felt unsteady or anything on the bike! Views were great and minimal walking for this one.

Most recently, I hosted some VIPs to Phoenix and we booked a wine walkabout tour back to back weeks. Booking was easy with Susan, she was able to get us scheduled quickly. Our tour was with Sharon -- she was the BEST. An absolute legend. She was hilarious, so fun, accommodating, and helpful. Each stop was unique and the wines were delicious. The snacks were great too! They offer multiple ways to visit, including the self-guided audio tour, Behind-The-Scenes tour, Apprentice Shelters Hike, Golden Hour Sunset Hike, Sonoran Desert Plant Hike and Tasting. The most popular visitation experience is through the self-guided audio tour, which my partner and I opted for on a Sunday morning during their last slot at 10:45am and purchased the additional matching card set. We parked in the small, gravel parking lot out front, walked to the gift shop entrance to start our audio tour. Since we were about 15 minutes late, we were advised to start a few stations into the tour and follow through until its completion. While it's clearly outlined on its website to bring your own earphones, we forgot to, but we were provided with equipment to borrow. We also downloaded the app for listening. This day was particularly hot, so we opted to skip over the outside stations and instead listen to their tour while sitting in the inside stations. The site in general is not very air-conditioned, although some stations do have some air-conditioning. I would highly recommend bringing an umbrella to shade from the sun as well as a hat and handheld personal fan. The experience speaks for itself. But I'd recommend it for anyone in the area with free time in the morning and an appreciation for art.

He is very witty and speaks with great knowledge of the topics. Yes the tour is walking and definitely different than what we expected but we were not let down. It was hot, but we were very fascinated by how Lucas was telling the stories. I felt like Lucas was my audiobook as I took photos around the areas we toured. Yes you could read it all on the internet and plan accordingly, but the experience is what you make it. If you're gonna sit and be disappointed that the tour is walking and "boring", but even at times that I felt like I was not paying attention I was taking photos around in hopes to catch something. At the Teeter house I did catch what I think is an apparition in the window... let me know what you think! Take the tour it's worth it. I regret not purchasing the extended tour with Lucas!!
