Came in to pick up an order I called in, my food was ready when I arrived. I got a chicken shawarma and it was delicious. The restaurant is right next to a parking lot and I was able to park on the street for easy access.

We stopped here for dinner before a show at the Fisher because I knew it would be quicker than typical sit-down service. I'm so glad we did! The ambiance was fun and friendly. As someone who easily gets anxiety ordering at new places, I felt perfectly at ease here. I love that they offered Detroit sodas but also had Coke products. (I was a big fan of the Detroit root beer and lemonade.) Ordering was easy. Staff were polite when bringing the food to the table. I sat in a booth and wish I had snapped a picture but they're high-top booths and I looooove that they have a bar for your feet/a footrest. Sometimes my body doesn't like my feet dangling for too long but this was perfect and I was comfortable for the entire meal. I ordered "shoestring fries" and they looked completely normal size, not skinny. They were delicious nonetheless! I tried the curly fries and they were also yummy! Shawarma sandwiches were pretty messy. Don't unwrap the whole thing from the foil or else the goods will drop out of the bottom of the pita. I also wish I had snagged a fork before I sat down. Overall, it was awesome and I look forward to stopping by again in the near future.

Stopped in after running the 5k in the D and man this place has great food. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it was huge and very full of chicken! I was also amazed of the draft beer selections in here, they had quite of few of really good beers! Our bar tender was super nice and helpful. The place is very open and has plenty of seating.

Bucharest is a longtime favorite of mine. I enjoy their Chicken Shawarma with extra tomato & garlic sauce. I also add feta cheese to mine. When I'm not desiring to have pita bread, I'll have the Chicken Shawarma Salad instead. Both options are freshly prepared to order and packed with flavor.

This place never disappoints! The flavors are on point, the portions are large and more importantly the prices are amazing. It's not necessary easy to get a beer to enjoy with middle eastern cuisine, and that's another reason why we like to come to the Bucharest Grill.

This is a great spot to pick up some quick food that also tastes delicious. This was the one spot that was recommended to me by multiple people. The staff was very nice and she told me her recommendations as well. We wanted to try the chicken and lamb shawarma which she was able to combine for us. We liked how there was a lot of garlic in the sauce and the chicken and lamb was delicious. They were soft and cooked very well. For a quick grab and go spot, this is great!

I came to Detroit for a one nighter and was looking for thing different. Got recommended this place and OMG it was delicious. I had a simple meal (chicken shawarma) and curly fries. I thought it was simple until I took that first bite. The chicken was flavored perfectly and juicy too! The fries were crispy and moist. Plus they had Detroit style pop which was good. The ladies behind the register were friendly and took care of me and my team. Definitely coming back!

I mean I've been to Bucharest quite a bit and have never been disappointed. Just popping on here to share the beautiful hummus we got on Saturday. Loved all the veggies that it was served with. It was crazy busy time for them but the food and service were great.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to a beautiful Mediterranean garden, with its gorgeous tiled floors, lush greenery, and warm, inviting atmosphere. It felt like a refreshing escape right in the middle of Detroit's historic cobblestone streets. It was the perfect setting for a long-overdue reunion with my sorority sisters, and Supergeil was incredibly accommodating, hosting our group of 14 women in the middle of Grand Prix weekend without missing a beat. We kicked off the evening with a few appetizers to share, including the hummus, deviled eggs, and meatballs. Everything arrived quickly and was an instant hit around the table. The standout was definitely the hummus, served with fresh, homemade pita that was unbelievably soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The meatballs were also delicious, perfectly tender, juicy, and well seasoned. For my entrée, I ordered the popular lamb and beef döner, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, overflowing with crisp vegetables, fresh lettuce, garlic sauce, hot sauce, and the most tender, savory lamb and beef. Around the table, others enjoyed the Turkish ravioli with spiced beef and pork, more döner, and a variety of salads. Everyone loved their meals, and we couldn't resist passing plates around to sample a little of everything. It's the kind of restaurant that's perfect for sharing and enjoying with a large group. And what would a girls' night be without cocktails? If you're a fan of Two James spirits like I am, you're in for a treat. The bartenders create incredibly inventive cocktails from a seasonally rotating menu. I stepped outside my comfort zone and ordered the Open Kettle, made with coffee infused Doctor Bird Rum, cola reduction, coconut cream, and Underberg. It was unlike anything I've ever had! It was rich, tropical, complex, and with just the right kick. It's an absolute must try. Another crowd favorite was the Purple Gang, featuring lavender vodka, lemon, and butterfly pea tea, which gave it the most stunning purple hue. To finish the night, we ordered all three desserts to share: the burnt sugar tres leches, strawberries and cream, and the hot brownie with cinnamon ice cream. My favorite was easily the tres leches. It was light, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the crunch of burnt caramel and the subtle sweetness of coconut, it was a creative twist on a classic dessert. The warm brownie with cinnamon ice cream was pure comfort and a chocolate lover's dream, while the strawberries and cream offered a lighter finish with sesame brittle and hibiscus, creating a unique combination that reminded me of an elevated granola paired with a glazed donut cream. From the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service to the creative cocktails and delicious food, Supergeil delivered an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're planning date night, catching up with friends, or celebrating with a large group, it's definitely a spot worth adding to your Detroit restaurant list.

My chicken shawarma for 10:30 am on a Saturday morning was hard ( the wrap tasted like it had been out since the night before ) to eat at 11:30 am. My salad had shredded feta, they changed from crumbled feta. I don't eat shredded, but for $1.00 up charge. ‍ I still will enjoy without any feta moving forward. My mouth was just watering for a fresh shawarma..... and I guess I need to eat when it is busy to get fresh... There's a parking garage in the rear and plenty of spots. I did enter through the rear of the establishment since I parked there. The menu is pretty extensive. The other one is a spicy sauce of some sort. This spicy one was super good. The hummus came out. Very smooth and flavorful. For my entree, I got the Shish Kafta. You can choose between lamb or chicken. I went with the chicken with a side of rice and my choice of soup or salad. I opted for the lentil soup. That came out piping hot. This was delicious. Flavorful and good texture. My entree came out and wow. The portion is way more than what you pay for. Came with 4 very huge blocks of chicken kefta. Nicely seasoned and grilled to perfection. Had a nice char on the outside, but still juicy on the inside. I used the two sauces from earlier to give it an extra kick. I washed it all down with a mint lemonade. This was absolutely refreshing. Clean place, very good food and the customer service was solid.

Ordered carry out. crushed lentil bowl, chicken kafta, two sides: small hummus, small baba ghanouj, large fattoush salad with no pita. $38.13 Food takes about 15 minutes to be ready. Drove all the way back to the office. My chicken kafta looks to be lamb, not at all what I ordered. My large fattoush is covered in pita chips. Had to spend several minutes getting every pita chip out of the salad. It's good I am not allergic to gluten. They shove the dressing packet in the corner of the salad, so you get a bit less, that and the pita chips. Other than that, the salad was fine. I am quite disappointed the order is not right! The crushed lentil soup has a lot of rice in it, which is just filler to me. Has some clumps of something, may be rice and starch? It's too inconvenient to drive all the way back. Do be sure to check your carry out order before you leave the place. The crushed lentil is quite bland, not much flavor to it. Tastes some fennel, quite a few clumps of starch. The soup is more rice than lentil. I could count on one hand how many traces of lentil was in my bowl of soup. What in the world? My husband ate the lamb kafta, since I don't eat red meat. He said it was so-so, but rather dry.
