As my dad put it, this is a phenomena. He said he has never experienced anything like trying to get to this store. A week after opening and it still feels like opening day. Roads were blocked with police directing cars into a miles long line that loops back into the Buc-ee's parking lot. The roadwork signs even said "Buc-ee's traffic," which was definitely an I told you so moment for me. During the detour we passed the Spirit Airlines boneyard. My dad is big into planes and actually wanted to find it while visiting us in Arizona, so that made the drive worth it for him. After the long detour off the freeway, we finally reached the Buc-ee's parking lot. Then there was a line to get inside because the store was at capacity. Once we were inside, we made a straight line for the brisket in the center of the store. Back in the day, around 2009, KFC used to sell a pulled pork sandwich that I was obsessed with. It had a lot of nostalgia tied to my gaming life, and when they discontinued it I was devastated. Well, no more. We tried the brisket and the pulled pork sandwich. The amount of meat they pack into the sandwich is very yummy and competitive. The value is in the flavor and the ingredients. I wish I bought several to take home since it was a two hour drive one way. My mother in law said it was to die for good. The snacks were yummy too. We tried the Beaver Nuggets, which taste like caramel popcorn without the popcorn shape. Light, sweet, and easy to snack on. The roasted almonds, cashews, and walnuts were delicious. My dad was loving everything. Was it chaotic? Yes. But the hype is real and it added to the fun of the experience. The food and snacks were a double yes. I finally got to relive my nostalgia in every bite. The barbecue is sweet, savory, and has just enough kick to make you take another bite. Before you know it, the sandwich is gone and you are already thinking about when you will come back for another. read more

Amazing highway store with a cult following. Excellent food and the best beef jerky. It's true, restrooms are clean. Plenty of fuel pumps and no trucks to get in your way. Live Buc-ees!! read more

Buc-ee’s - Gas Stations Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

It was a rainy day when I gassed up at Buc-ees in Goodyear AZ and my truck locked me out without my phone or purse. But GUY, an amazing employee helped me contact a locksmith. He made several phone calls and the truck was unlocked! Give GUY A RAISE! Now I'm gonna replace the battery in my key fob so I can't lock the truck with the key inside! read more

After FINDING our way into the parking lot we had an amazing time inside. You never get tired of hearing "fresh brisket on the board", or tired of looking at all the jerky options and the variety of ICEEs. The staff was incredible, and very nice. Service was 10/10. And per usual beaver nuggets were perf! Will be back! read more

But-we'd missed the mark on two key things! At the gas pumps there isn't a window squeegee to clean the wind shield and they should post the gas prices on the Buc-ee's sign next to the freeway! Their BBQ is great! read more

Definitely good sandwiches and lots of variety. It's a junk food junky paradise. Great experience though. Luv the jersey for sure and baked goodies. read more

This business willfully, blatantly, intentionally, and irresponsibly violates county, state, and federal health codes for food establishments, as well as the ADA and AzDA by discriminating against disabled people. Staff and management are aware, but they refuse to address it. This store does not seem to care at all about the health and safety of their customers, nor the cleanliness of their establishment. All of the employees need to be retrained on health codes, food handler protocol, and customer service. They KNOW they are in violation, but do not care. read more

Stopped by Buc-ee's while in town visiting with friends. Finding parking was not the easiest being it is a fairly newly opened location, but definitely worth it. Their Halloween section is also worth checking out. I was sad because they were sold out of a lot of the personalized items they sell. Their bathrooms were huge and well kemp. I would come here again and buy some tasty beaver nuggets and their brisket. Due to how hectic it was we didn't get to try them. read more

We will be back in a month or so as we would like to try the infamous brisket. The crowds were just too much for us. Impressed at the amount of employees present and everyone was efficient and friendly. Value was optional. Some items seemed, others seemed right on the mark. read more

Buc-ee’s - Gas Stations Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

Finally made it to a Buc-ee's! After hearing about Buc-ee's for years from our friends in the South, we were really excited to shop at Buc-ee's! We came here the first week of July and it was still super crowded. We got here around 7 AM and it was busy! There were parking spots available around the outskirts of the parking lot. So many gas pumps! All I have to say about the parking lot and gas pump portion of Buc-ee's is to watch out for these Arizona drivers. I witnessed multiple drivers running through the stop signs near the entrance/exit. Once inside, it was super crowded. People everywhere. The lines for food were long, but moved pretty quickly. We tried a beaver paddle tail pastry, someone got a brisket sandwich, an egg and brisket taco, and "the beast" breakfast burrito. The food was pretty good. The fudge line took the longest, but the fudge was great and was our favorite out of all the food. The merchandise sections were clearly low in stock on popular items. I really wanted a Buc-ee's plushie, and in this whole giant store, there wasn't one plush left! The shirts and Buc-ee's clothing was very organized by size. You could easily find your size or find out that they did not have your size left. We spent just short of $200 here on merchandise for ourselves and friend of ours. We will be returning again and I hope to finally get a Buc-ee's plush! read more

Very overcrowded and unsanitary feeling. The smells are sickening - sort of a sweet meaty scent.

Ordered several jars of habanero garlic pickled and green beans and WD40. It was fast and convenient but nope my order was cancelled without reason. So sad I wanted to garlic, my doors can squeak forever read more

Man! All of the reviews are right! We pulled in on a Sunday- not a parking spot available! Gas pumps were all full as well. I've never witnessed hysteria like this. We came away with bbq sauce, bbq seasoning, ASU merch, Buc-ee's merch... and the grub! Don't get just one, you need two! That is the famous brisket sandwich. These prices are unlike any convenience store prices, very affordable. Also enjoyed the Carolina pulled pork. Tasty sauces. The food line moved fast, this is a well oiled machine they've got here! read more

Can I just start of by saying, wow! This place had everything you could dream of!!! I came in with my husband Keith last friday and I unfortunately left alone that day. there was a gorgeous single mother that stole my husband from me. We are now filing for a divorce, but all the food, snacks and candy we bought were really yummy! read more

My experience was that if they ring an item up by mistake, no correction, no refund. One visit, one star, done.

We drove 5 hours to see this place. We need one in California. I hope we can et one soon. Food was great. Swag was great.

Love Buc-ees but this place was insanely busy when we visited on July 7th at 1p. Literally two dozen people were waiting at each food area as Buc-ees was out of food! Workers doing their best to keep up but there were so many people, we left without buying anything. read more

Employees are friendly. I think it is a place you have to experience at least once. There was a crowd when I went but you get checked out quickly. The sliced brisket sandwich is better than the chopped, in my opinion. Get an extra bbq sauce with it. I love the jerky from the counter but it is pricey. Next time I go, I want to try the brisket burrito but won't go out of my way just to go there. I am disappointed that the corporation targets small businesses that use beaver in their name or have a beaver in their logo. read more

Not accommodating to walking handicap with crutches & full leg brace. I asked if I could get a bag to carry items and was told there are carts. I looked at the person and asked do I look like I can push a cart? To which she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked for speak to a manager and the lady next to the first one stated she was an assistant manager not on her tag. Again refused to even let me buy a bag and mark it so I could carry items or contact the manager as asked for. Not able to utilize baskets due to tilting and in general not save. I have been to other Buc-ee's that accommodated and loved being able to shop there. I don't Recommended Buc-ee's in Arizona if you are by yourself with a walking disability! read more

The customer service was terrible when we checked out the lady read a hat I bought which was Christian based, she read it and started throwing our items in bags, I made a comment and she said yea okay, asked her co worker when he was and started throwing out items at us to bag it, I said thank you and have a good night night she said said yea okay and through my receipt at me. We drove from Cali just for a terrible experience. I'd much rather drive to Texas. If you wanna work in customer service be kind. read more

Stopped by to make an EXCHANGE on a belt my husband purchased the night before that was too big. He was not able to try on in store due to the belt having the security strip, which is not the issue, when we returned this morning to exchange, the first cashier who informed us about the exchange policy said we would be able to do it and we trusted her word and shopped around as they didn't have another belt in his size that he liked. Once we got to check out this is where the issue started. The team member named Kenneasha stated we were not able to exchange it as it was "unsellable" because the belt was worn. We explained to her the that it was only tried on and she still denied us the exchanged due to the belt being "bent". In less than 24hrs our experience here took a negative turn. How does a store expect to sell belts without trying on and then deny an exchange when customers need to make an exchange due to incorrect sizing. Our first two visits were great with great customer service but as Sunday morning and afternoon their staff was no long friendly and welcoming. Maybe some retraining on customer service is needed for this new location because promoting a happy Texas bbq experience is not doing well in Arizona. read more

Will never set foot in beaver town until it's corporate asshat lawyers discontinued sueing small businesses for logo infringement. What a joke and it shows they might not make it on their own. It's overpriced and overcooked brisket at a gas station along with clothing you will probably only wear once. Big whoop! read more

Realistically, it's just barbecue in a gas station like that's cool and they have like cool souvenirs but I mean I really don't see why everybody is obsessed with it but I do appreciate the cheap gas so that is a three star for me. And I guess they do have food options not really healthy but they do have a couple healthier choices which matter to me. I mean they got the protein game lockdown so if you have protein goals, this is the place to go. I don't know. I'm just annoyed with the excess traffic but as long as it goes back to normal, I'll give you a three stars for the cheap gas and then no waiting on the gas but if you would like to engorge yourself with barbecue this is a place for you. Enjoy America. read more

Beware of this place. They have a zero return policy. It doesn't matter if you haven't even left the store, or if what you bought is broken. They won't even provide you with a store credit or gift card. It's honestly very messed up. They take pride in their american looks but I have never seen something like this in any store ever. I didn't even said bye to the cashier when I noticed I was being charged 4 times the equivalent of a product that was in a $12 section. The managers response was: you can reach to corporate but they won't do anything for you. read more

I really loved the spacious parking area. Each parking spot (not handicapped) has ample space around it after parking. Some parking lots are made smaller making it hard to get in/out of the car without bumping the car next to you when you're getting in or out. Although it was crowded inside, the aisles are spacious. Most of the various food lines moved quickly, except for the area where brisket or pulled pork macaroni was sold. We stood waiting for over half an hour and still not one person was served. We after about 45 mins we just skipped it. Big problem in my book. That's an area that needs to be corrected. That's the only complaint I have. I had a chopped brisket sandwich. It was deeelicious! Very meaty, it was perfect! The check-out was easy & fast. Employees were friendly and very helpful when asked questions. Can't wait to go back! read more

We were going to go check it out but now I've changed my mind. I'll be damned if I will give my money to a greedy corporation that is making money hand over fist, who is suing a small town convenience store. More than one place has a beaver logo, and the other store was there first! Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Never have I ever been to a Buc-ee's until just now, and I gotta say, it exceeded every expectation I had. Talk about the ultimate rest spot! The bathrooms were huge and extremely clean, tons of food, snacks, gifts and knick knack items, and the fact that nearly EVERYTHING has a Bucky logo on it is over the top impressive and really makes you appreciate all of the thought and work that went into this place. I bought 8 items for a total of $51, thought their prices were very affordable and fair, and their gas prices were solid too, with 120 total pumps! I couldn't believe it. The BBQ brisket sandwich was very tasty too, so many unique and solid food/snack items in here. This place is clean, friendly, efficient and fun. I can't wait to come back again. Only two things I'm not crazy about is how far it is from the general Phoenix area (very far west in Goodyear) and that it's positioned on the South side of the I-10, which is catering to the California folk coming to AZ for the weekend and such. I wish it was on the other side of the road, for us locals to make a quick pitstop for drinks/snacks/games/etc on our way to Cali. Oh well! read more

I was so excited to finally visit a Buc-ee's. It's massive, the bathrooms are great, the food is great- all the things I was told. But the service is absolute trash. I'm hoping it's just this location and not all of them? I left being very upset. read more

The desserts they're really good. Haven't tried the food yet! Everything is really cool! I've been wanting to go. Way before actually! The grand opening. I've been wanting to go since the grand opening. But I had to wait. And waited. And waited. Until Friday! I loved it. Glad I got the beaver nuggets. To me they were really awesome. Honestly, I love everything about it. Again! Best spot in Arizona. First Buckys in Arizona! Woo hoo. Definitely going again. Thank you for making the first one in Arizona. read more

I finally stopped at Buc-ee's to see what all the hype was about. After hearing people rave about it, I left wondering what the big deal is. The only reason I'd stop here again is the cheap fuel. Their diesel prices were the best I found on my trip, so I'll happily pull in, fill up, and leave. Beyond that, it just feels like a giant tourist trap. The store is wall-to-wall people, shoulder-to-shoulder, and I don't see the appeal. It's basically an oversized convenience store with a gift shop attached. The brisket? It's okay. Not bad--but certainly not worth standing in a long line for. I've had better barbecue without the circus. And can someone explain the obsession with Beaver Nuggets? I tried them because everyone acts like they're life-changing. They're not. They're just sugary corn puffs. I honestly don't get the hype. My biggest disappointment was the RV parking. They have dedicated RV/trailer spaces, but they're filled with regular passenger cars. Nobody seems to enforce the parking, so if you're towing a trailer, finding a place to park can be a hassle. That's a missed opportunity because RV travelers are exactly the kind of customers who tend to buy fuel, food, and supplies. Bottom line: If you're looking for inexpensive fuel, Buc-ee's is worth the stop. Fill up, maybe use the restroom, and get back on the road. If you're making a special trip because you've heard it's some must-see destination, I think you'll likely wonder what all the fuss was about read more

Same items and food at all other stores like the ones in TX BUT it's chaotic mess, lines just to get in line. People swarming for no reason. Food out and some grab and go was cold and mislabeled. Awful. Staff was rude ESPECIALLY the f@t white girl who's name i didn't catch sadly at the jerky stand who rolled her eyes and snapped at my family member when he simply asked if there was a better place he could stand or if there was a number he could take since staff had ignored him multiple times and cannot seem to manage a line or give a veteran who served this country a simple f'ing sample of jerky! As a Texas living in Arizona who still travels frequently back to TX yearly, this has always been must each visit --I do not leave without going to Buc-ee's. Now that it's here in AZ, I am so excited for this though I do live an hour away which is a bummer because I would go there everyday. Lol when I'm in the area best believe I'm stopping by. All my money goes there, never fails. I buy everything there. Restrooms are super clean. The gas station has a lot of goods from clothing to home goods. Great snacks and food to go especially the brisket sandwiches. Beef jerky is also a good one to pick up. Beaver nuggets is a must. The sweets are also good. I can't forget the nuts, I absolutely love roasted cashews! I can go on forever. The store is great! Amazing service! read more
