We waited a few months after the grand opening to avoid the crowd, and ended up going on a Sunday afternoon, lol. We avoided the long line off the highway going in there by following a truck around to the back. Didn't need gas, just parking, which was crowded but do-able because people were continuously coming and going. Inside, controlled chaos. Everyone seemed generally courteous though. The male bathroom looked like a movie theaters except bigger, cleaner and more lit. We knew what we wanted to buy so we made a beeline for the food (briskets, pulled-pork sandwiches etc) and were in line and outta there soon after. It was worth the trip, seems they have something for everyone!

The first Buc-ee's I went to was in Dallas last month and there were half amount of gas pumps. This one has 100+ and it was constantly moving. Pulled pork mac and cheese $8 Texas cheesesteak $9 Sliced brisket sandwich $9 XL chopped brisket $15 Whole chicken stuffed with jambalaya $17 Bacon wrapped pork loin $17 Pork / beef link $7 Beaver nuggets $6 Spiced nuts; super crunchy coating $4 Insulated bags $3! Christmas bag $0.99! Single serve chips average $1.50 Fresh cookies 6 for $5 Sleeper item: fountain drinks. The root beer tastes like a craft soda or fresh A&W. The strawberry lemonade comes out super red but tastes delicious and not overly sweet. XL size drinks are under $2...cannot be beat! 100% will be back and worth the hype. So glad this location opened up! Merch overall is not overly priced and everything is good quality. I imagine they're making their $ in sheer volume.

I can see why Buc-ee's makes money. It's clean, fully stocked and fully staffed. A lot of gas pumps and just about everything you need for getting down the road. Never seen a travel station like this. The service was spotty and mixed but not terribly off putting. Prices were slightly inflated but so what...you're at Buc-ee's. I'm not sure this place will ever be uncrowded. We were there at10:00 pm on a Saturday night, packed. Last words...kinda fun for now.

If you are ok this side of town, this is the cheapest gas around. However, even with so many pumps, it took a bit to find an open spot. A lot of people parked and went inside. Also the hose at the pump is not extended like at Costco so make sure you park close. Inside was quite busy. Thankfully, most items are located in multiple places. It was nice to visit, they had a variety of products to chose from. I wanted to get fudge but the line was a little long. It was fun, but only worth a visit if it is on your way out of town.

Finally got to checkout Buc-ee's and let me tell you, it is like no gas station you have ever seen. I was thoroughly impressed. Lots of merchandise, food, and snacks. It felt like I was in whole other town. My boyfriend and I stopped here as we were on that side of town. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for it but if you find yourself in Goodyear I would at least check it out. My boyfriend liked the brisket sandwiches and Jerky station. The cinnamon pull-a-parts were delicious! Found those mini buckets that are popular and my mom collects those. There is no other gas station like it in Arizona. I thought it was really cool, a little over stimulating but its definitely better compared to other gas stations.

Wow! I stopped in on a Sunday evening hoping the hype would be over but it was sooooo crowded!! So loud, crowded without even a place to walk. Lots of gas pumps and lots of snack and food inside, but I didnt get a change to try anything becuase I wasn't going to wait in the long line. Tons of people making videos, just hanging out inside and lots of cars in the parking lot just hanging out. I wish I could have tried the brisket or the ice cream or fudge, maybe next time.

I never thought I would visit Buc-cee's ever until/unless I visit Dallas and I don't know when that would be, I LOVE and miss you Buc-ee's! I came across an Instagram vid ( thank goodness that my phone tracks my location hehe) of a guy walking to Buc-cee's and I was thinking to my self is this guy at the right place, there is no Buc-cee's at AZ, I checked Yelp and it was for real, it was true! I am so glad Buc-cee's is opened 24 hours, located at Good Year, AZ which I have never been to this part of AZ- I asked the hubby to take me on our way back from Sin City. He added the beaver to the maps. As we got closer, I got so excited. I had fond memories of my very first visit to Buc-Cee's. We arrived at Buc'cee's closer to 9, Hello there beaver, I have to say, I never seen Buc-cee's this crowded and so loud! Yep. same old Buc-cee's, the store set up, lay out, bathrooms, same Buc-cee's! After our visit to the bathroom ( so many stalls and clean) much needed after our road trip, we shopped and looked around, stood in line to grab food. It was an happening place, the workers were yelling something but I couldn't hear clearly. We got what we need food, drinks, sweets, snacks and even had to get the cute phone holder and tumbler. Although all the lines were long, it moved pretty quick. No tables to eat our food we just ate on sidewalk next to our car. The line to take photo opt with the beaver statue was long so we couldn't snap a photo. I tried the mac & cheese with bbq brisket, for the first time and enjoyed it, just too much meat and bbqd out after. Eating that beaver chips sure brought back more memories, I didn't see peach and sausage kolache that I always get at Dallas, that much be just Texas thing. We filled gas twice and WOW, $3.75 per gallon, this is the cheapest I've ever seen from my road trips. There are 120 pumps so no wait at all, there was always a pump opened. When we stopped by for gas on the 2nd day, there was a car in front of us that would just park at the gas station, go in to the store to shop, when they were done they were feeding the dog water. Blocked the way which we couldn't go in between had to reverse it which luckily no cars in the back. I wish there were staff to prevent to enforce the rules. I am so happy to be at a Buc-cee's again, you either love it or you don't, but for me I LOVE it, Fun place-I can't wait to visit the beaver again!

Buc-ee's got me addicted...

This is the second Buc-ee's I have been to now and I feel like my love for Buc-ee's is maybe how a junkie loves their crack. Its bad for you, you know it, but when you see it, you're helpless. I came in here the other day while driving West and could not resist. This is probably what it feels like to smoke opium. You walk into this massive place, and your brain immediately gets large dopamine hits. At 9am, this place is swarming with people, everyone looks like zombies fiending for their drug of choice. In the morning, this place has a brunch of breakfast options which has brisket in it. I already ate breakfast and was looking for lunch items, however, when I went to the case that had brisket sandwiches, the guy before me took like 5 sandwiches. See? I told you. This is place is a crack house. I spent about 40 minutes in here, picked up some fun Buc-ee's seasonal items. And then bought some of my favorites I tried last time. The pickled okra is pretty tasty if you like pickles and okra. I also like their cajun fried pecans, not good for you, but calorie dense. I never could get a brisket sandwich as they didnt have any ready made even after 40 minutes. I deducted one star for that. The other problem here is that the gas pumps dont take fuel cards like what is that about? Don't know if the cashiers do inside because I forgot to ask but that was a hassle. Deducted another star for that inconvenience. Overall, this is not a place I should come to. Its like a fat kid in a candy store and that is definitely me. Thank goodness I don't live close to one of these because then I probably would have a serious problem. And would have to go to some Buc-ee's Anonymous place to detox...

3 meat sandwich $12.99

My husband and I were so excited that a Buc-ees finally opened one close to CA. So this weekend we took a mini trip to Buc-ees to check out their new store in Goodyear AZ. Let me just say this place opened a few months ago and the hype is still there. We stopped by on Saturday and it was crowded. Lines to get the freshly chopped brisket sandwiches and lines of fudge. It was crazy. I have to say this place is still pretty organized even with such a large crowd and checkout lines moved smoothly. Staff were friendly and restocked apparel and snacks right away. My first Buc-eees visit was the one in Tennessee and that was many years ago so we were excited to visit one that's within drives me distance. My favorites were this caramel nuggets. Delicious! I wanted more so we went back on Sunday and it was even crazier. Super packed barely any room to shop. We grabbed the 3 meat (brisket, turkey, and sausage) sandwich which cost $12.99 and I got more bags of caramel nuggets and left. Quick in and out trip that was super fun. Glad we got to take our time on Saturday to browse the apparel and souvenir sections. Overall great gas station. Definitely for food snacks and sandwiches and even jerky. We even found some candles and toilet spray that smells like beaver caramel nuggets. Hahaha. Bathrooms here are the cleanest and there plenty of soda flavors that you can try. Probably spent a good hour here just shopping around. Let's just say I got enough caramel nuggets to last me awhile.

I didn't know I needed a beaver vampire t-shirt.

All right, I admit it. I am an absolute whore for this place. I have traveled across the country and stopped at just about every one that I can find. More so, it's like if I see one I can't not stop. That's bad English I know, but it's the truth.. One thing I love about Buc-ee's is how clean it is. They definitely know how to keep the place faced, and spotless. A good thing considering all of the food items they have. You would be very hard-pressed to find anything at all on the floor that didn't belong there. If you look at the racks of clothes, and the some of the other kiosks, they are all super clean around. The base. That to me shows that management is on top of things. But I mean apparel is just one aspect of this place. It's really the food. When I was there they had just put a fresh brisket on the board and of course everybody joins in yelling brisket on the board! I'll tell you what I love this place so much, I would love to be a general manager here. They have such an amazing assortment of swag, as well as Buc-ee's themed food items.. like the beaver nuggets, the cool little tins of mints, and all the giant mugs you can handle. In addition to all the t-shirts, sweatpants and other stuff. I could go on and on about this place all day, I haven't even talked about the gas station part. Always plenty of pumps, and they have diesel which is awesome for me! Bottom line? I will definitely be coming back to this Buc-ee's again whenever I am in Arizona, and you should too!

So fun how they opened a location in Arizona! It is very accessible by the freeway. Lots of parking spots and there are 120 gas pumps! On a hot AZ summer day, I was amazed how busy it was. Lots of merch and snacks to buy. In the center there is a hot food section by the meat area. The hot food was all wrapped or boxed and you just grab and go to one of the many registers. Checkout lines are long, but goes by very quickly! The chopped brisket sandwich was good, but very saucy. The chicken and fries were over cooked / too fried. The price was not bad for the food you get. I will go back for the brisket! Friendly staff!

Brisket mac & cheese bowl - just okay, nothing special.

I wasn't quite sure what the hype is about. I've never been to a Buc-ees before. When it first opened, gas was $.24 more expensive than the Costco right down the road, but since then, the prices have gotten closer together. There are over 100 pumps here so the wait time is probably not existent. I tried a few of their specialty items. Chicken sandwich, brisket sandwich, brisket and macaroni & cheese bowl. All of the food items were just okay, nothing special. I know they are famous for their brisket, but I felt the barbecue sauce was much too sweet and all of the items were a bit overpriced. The store itself is overwhelming and spectacular. It's like if Cabela's had a gas station. You know it's going to be big even before coming here, but it's actually even bigger than what you think. It's very clean and plenty of friendly people working here. Now I see what the hype is all about. Even though gas at my local Costco is cheap cheaper, I'll probably will be back to try some of the other interesting items. 3 1/2 stars!

I have the pleasure to visit several different Buc-ee's from Texas, Alabama as well as Florida This new location in Arizona did not really disappoint. The only thing that I was a little sad about was that they did not have their chicken and fries available all day. Good thing they had the brisket though that never fails or disappoints of course, I had to pick up some beaver nuggets as well as an Icee And just like the counterparts, the restrooms were extremely clean with tons of gas station pumps available. Let me also mention the gas prices are amazingly lower than any gas station in the Phoenix area.

In the year of our Lord, 2026, this brand new Buc-ee's has 84 (EIGHTY FOUR) gas pumps but not one single electric charger. Not one.

Rating is primarily for the food. Brisket was not very good. The location itself is nice and clean but is not worth waiting in line.
