My kids took me to Buc-ee's for my first time. It was fairly crowded but the lines moved quickly and orderly. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The fudge was good and varieties were abundant. We were impressed with the jerky especially the korean bbq flavour. They also had low sugar versions which was nice. The brisket was no joke and better than i thought. Perfect smoke, tender, and moist. My favorite item was the texas cheesesteak burrito. Unique and creative. The beaver nuggets were surprisingly good and lived up to the hype lol. Finally i could not believe how big and clean the restroom was. Well done Buc-ee's!!! read more

Overrated, overpriced, puts logo on everything, and let's just be honest it's a big gas station. They also somehow don't have Mountain Dew but do have two fridges of bucees soda. read more

My family and I have been coming to this store franchise but this is our first time here. When we came here, traffic was horrible and the inside was very packed. read more

We have visited this store in Texas numerous times. It has been a long-standing family tradition to stop at Buc-ee's whenever we are on vacation. I am thrilled that there is a location in Goodyear now!!! The lines move fast and the staff are doing a good job keeping up with the disarray of the store. However, this location is already starting to not feel safe. The number of people and vehicles loitering in the parking lot, blaring rap music, flashing car lights, and basically partying outside their vehicles makes this location feel unsafe. It seems to be the new Goodyear hangout for tons of teens and young adults. I personally do not feel comfortable allowing my teen children to walk around the store without an adult. It's not IF something bad will happen, but WHEN. I hope this gets fixed, because I would love to make this store a frequent stop for me and my family. read more

We have had a terrible experience at the new Buc-ees store in Goodyear, Az where we attempted to return a totally defective bling shirt my wife bought for the 4th. We bought it on the 2nd and returned on the 3rd to exhange it. They had none but said we could exhange it within 90 days. When my wife returned on Sept 2nd to echange it the manager (Nick) refused to even entertain the exchange with out the orginal tag. When my wife persisted he threatened her with calling the police and having her arrested. She left and that evening found the tag. We both returned on Sept 3rd and spoke to him again. He again refused to do the exchange but did admit, while I had my iphone on vidoeo, (and here is the news worthy story) a couple of things. A. That he had actually threaten her with police presence. B. That he was afraid to do the exchange as he would "get in trouble" and C. That the owners read EVERY compaint! The threat is secondary to the admission that Buc-ees corporate punishes their employes for accepting returns or exchanges for even clearly defective items and they are trained to lie (which I had researched on the internet) is something that Buc-ees trains them to say to customers regardless of reason for the attempted return of anything. One story I read was about someone who attempted to return a item within 5 minutes of purchase and was told they would get a refund and never refuned anything. I personally think that every consumer would like to be made aware of this practice as Buc-ees sells millions of dollars worth of merchandise accross many states and people are running into this behavior each and every day with no warning being broadcasted to the public. I know had we been aware that this could and would happen we would have never would have made a purchase there and would have appreciate being made aware that we would not be able to return something, would be lied to (as a part of corp training) and may have been threatened (which happened) if we did not just go away with our tails between our legs for bring back a (again) obviously defective purchase. read more

Buc-ee’s - Gas Stations Near Me - Goodyear, Arizona

See all

Massive new Buc-ee's in Goodyear, AZ. Been to several locations in Texas and the newer one in Virginia. Got the usual suspects, beaver nuggets, brisket tacos and sandwich. Banana pudding and Key lime pie cup are good too. Restrooms clean but sense that'll change when you read my next. I guess my issue with this place is that the location is full of a microcosm of Arizona, in that inside the collective looks like half from CECOT in El Salvador and the other from the 85+ crew from Sun City West. Throw in a smidgen of truly bizarre individuals that you'd shy away from in Wal'mart and voila, you have this Buc-ee's. Security personnel here must have their hands full. Won't revisit, will save any future Buc-ee's stops for when I'm back in Texas. read more

I love love love this place! It stays packed... but the lines move fairly quickly. Drive from Cali to get there. Was there 2 days and went to Buc-ee's twice. The brisket sandwiches and turkey was awesome! And they have Blue Bell ice cream... read more

What a scumbag thing to do, to charge people $1.79 to put water in your own cup, and a extra .50¢ for ice.

Always clean bathrooms BBQ is great. Snacks are good easy in easy out. Don't let the amount of people deter you as even at the busiest times you are able to get in and get out. read more

Great food, prices and a good stop. But on the weekends, the weekend they definitely need an attendant at the pumps. Nearly impossible to get gas. Tons of people parking cars at pumps in the shade while they shop so people can't get gas. Super frustrating. They need someone telling people to keep moving. read more

We really enjoy shopping and walking through the store. I just wish that other customers wouldn't park at the fuel pumps, only customers getting fuel should be there. read more

Was super excited for the store to open. It's located very close to where I live. I have went multiple times, but this previous time I bought banana bread from them went home cut into it and in the middle it was not cooked all the way and it was Bucee's brand so I went back up to the store and try to exchange it for another one and they completely denied my request. They said they won't do a return or exchange and did not apologize for me having to waste my money on something that I wasn't even able to eat and I'm highly disappointed. I won't be shopping there anymore. because the service that I dealt with was unacceptable. read more

Brisket Sandwich reminded me of Arby's BBQ sandwich accept as bad as Arby's was Buc-ee's is worse and 3 times the price! Over priced and terrible! read more

went there today about 1:30pm on a thursday. no problems getting in to the property, and 75 to 80% of the 120 pumps were in use. there was parking but we ended up parking on the edge of the lot near the little dog walking park. There was no line to get in but there were tons of people there. I estimate around 400. very busy like Disneyland. We did a quick walk through some of the food, and merchandise. my wife bought a garden flag $10. I went and looked at the huge selection of Jerky but did not get any. The noise from all the talking, and constantly having to navigate a sea of humans I decided to get in line for the sandwiches. The line snaked around the area where they prep them, and moved pretty quickly. I was maybe in line 10 or 15 minutes. You just walk around and grab what you want. I got 2 chopped briskets, 2 pulled pork, 1 sausage on a stick, and 2 club melts. I found the wife and we checked out the restrooms. the men's room had 18 urinals, and 19 toilet stalls. My wife did not count but if the women's bathroom was the same size as the men's then I estimate there were 28 or 32 women's stall. All the urinals had floor to ceiling privacy, and all the toilets were enclosed closets with solid doors and no gaps. There were lights over the doors to indicate if they are in use. There was an attendant on duty cleaning while I was in there. The place was immaculate. I have never been in a men's room this spotlessly clean. We tried the sandwiches in the parking lot (it was 116° outside). contrary to what another "reviewer" has said none of the food was overly salty, or even slightly salty. The brisket was tender and had a nice amount of sauce on it. The pulled pork was very good and also properly sauced. The club melt had a sauce with a little bit of kick to it (which I liked). I tried the sausage on a stick when we got home and it is good and quite different from most sausages you get anywhere else. one thing to note is that there was little to no smokiness to anything we tried. All of it was good, and none of it was so bad as to throw it away like another reviewer lied about. The Checkout people were nice, friendly, and very efficient. prices for the food was well in line with the quality and generosity. as to the gas. I see people getting uptight that it is not "top tier" gas. ALL gas in the US is the exact same stuff made to the exact same standards. the only difference is that "top tier" gasoline has additives that different companies put in them. that is all there is to it. read more

Came in on a wednesday at 4pm plenty of pumps available found good parking easily. Was busy but not crowded. First, use the restroom.Plenty available took me a couple of stalls to find a clean one. What kind of disheartening based on the reputation, four employees in the restroom.Talking, maybe was their job to keep it cleaner. The store is what you expect.Plenty of items to buy, but some bear spots, bucees items readily available, not so much with the off brand items. The barbecue brisket is legit.Great jerky bar. Sweets and snacks readily available. Some are exceptional some are standard fair. The drink selection is over the top. Overall perception, the food and snacks are legit, the rest of it seems to be a hype. Gasoline prices were a little high compared to the rest of the area, once again as part of the hype. read more

I went here for the first time today I had to try it out and it's exactly what I expected. I wasn't impressed except they had like 50 gas pumps. Very busy very crowded. You walk in. You have to wait two hours just to get a lousy sandwich that's not the way these places are supposed to operate when you're going from state to state you wanna get gas going and get a sandwich a drink and come back out. This place is a menagerie of crazy people that really really need to get a life. read more

I'm not even sure what this place is, or wants to be. Yes, you can get gas here, but if you don't go inside, you will totally miss out on... miss out on SOMETHING, though I have no idea what, exactly. There are food stations, drink stations, sprawling sections of random gadgets -- not even car-related, just gadgets -- and a small country's worth of Buc-ee's-branded clothes and random merch. I made the mistake of going on opening weekend, just because I was passing right by it. I walked in, walked all the way through to the far end, dodging elbows, trays of food, and small children (see why that Oxford comma is important?), and if I could have exited the far side, I would have, but they'd just closed that exit moments before. So I had to backtrack halfway to the side exit -- on the wrong side, but I didn't care. I could not stand to be in that building for another instant. I walked all the way around the outside, consciously decompressing from the harrowing experience. The adrenaline would ensure I wouldn't fall asleep at the wheel, since I had intended to get some iced tea, but left empty-handed -- never to return. read more

First time coming here everything was great the store is huge! The Brisket sandwich is so delicious! The only thing that I was upset about was the cashier who helped me, her name was TIFFANY! She had a bad attitude! She look like she was mad. I added more stuff to ring up and she says "oh there's more" with an attitude, she didn't smile and didn't say thank you after I had spent $122 dollars. So a little disappointed. But it was a great experience at all. read more

Don't get me wrong, the facility is amazing. The patrons and I use the word loosely are totally disrespectful. I stopped in to get gas on my way from the airport-.60cents less a gallon than anywhere else 3.89 vs 4.49 so why save a few bucks. Massive gas filling area, with I don't know how many pumps. It was as if I were in a movie where all the people somehow disappear and the cars are left empty. 90-95% of the pumps had cars unattended. People use the the pumps as parking spots so they don't have to walk a few extra steps. Total disrespect for others that want to pump gas. I won't be back! read more

My family enjoy this place. Just suggest a point or app system! Staff & selection here are amazing!

Stay away from the place for now. Bucee's is a wonderful place but the rude staff and management is not what I have experienced in Tennessee and Texas locations. I understand it is crowded for now and staff are frustrated with it. Relax and have patience with the customers. Keep this up and Goodyear Buccees will be the rudest, most unfriendly place of the entire chain. Lets do better Bucee's. read more

Had a great time shopping but when we were getting ready to leave and check out the cashier named Bianca was being very rude to an elder customer who just wanted to buy a slushie, I get it can be overwhelming when a store is just opening but being rude and staring at customers with dirty looks is very unacceptable. read more

Worst experience ever!! Chaos abounds!!!! We grabbed a couple things and were able to check out quickly although others were waiting in long lines. They advertise 35 EV charges but even the manager can't tell you where they are. To get you there they take you down a 30 min blind path with no idea where you are and no way to abort if you want out. Knew it was busy but too chaotic and unorganized. No signage!! Stay away for now!!!! read more

We just made the trip from CA to visit the new store in AZ. We planned the trip so that we could get in 2 visits. One on the way to our hotel, and a visit on the way home from Phoenix. On the first stop one of the items we bought was a bathing suit for my daughter. She wore it to the hotel pool where we found out one of the straps on the suit was defective. The defect caused her suit to loosen up and fall off. On our second trip to the store we bought back the suit and was told by the clerk exchanging the defective product wouldn't be an issue because we had our receipt. So, we picked out a replacement, and brought it to the register. The clerk needed the manager to come and do the exchange. Enter Frank the "Assistant General Manager"! This guy refused to exchange the defective product and wouldn't help in the slightest!!! He said contact "Buc-ees.com, there was nothing he could do! I told him you sold us a defective product! I''m not looking for a refund, I'm looking for you to make it right! He refused!!! We have since contacted the website and filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! Letters will also be going out!! This is another example of a big corporation taking advantage of people and if "Frank" can't do anything, sounds like a position the company could eliminate to save money!! So double check your items and make sure they're as intended before making that purchase! read more

Visited the Arizona Buccees and found it overcrowded, prices are hard to see with small tags below items, shelf items missing tags. Long line inside was for applicants and not checking out. The sandwiches come in different sizes. The smaller ones are priced at $8.99 with plenty of meat. The pulled pork lacked flavor and needed more barbecue sauce on it. Buccees nuggets have a molasses taste due to brown sugar. My family did not like them at all. The nuts were $4.99 for a small packet. They were okay, nothing special. The best deal was the drinks for .99 cents. We bought one shirt for $17.99...the Arizona Buccees shirt. They were out of XL Buccees Brisket shirts too. It was okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. Home decor items were expensive like a hotel gift shop. Spent $128.00 including 6 sandwiches, 1 shirt, 1 buccee bag of nuggets, 2 packets of nuts, 1 small jerky bag and 4 drinks. There is no where to eat inside or outside at Buccees, so basically all grab and go food items. Also, those of you not from Arizona...don't put your arms on the Buccee guy out front. He is in the Arizona sun and it will burn you! read more

I've been to Buc-ee's in Tennessee and Colorado I have never been treated so poorly as the one here in Az. I have a service dog with papers which I happily provide. I was approached twice as to why I had a service dog, and rather than ask for proof of service the first employee took the liberty to deep dive into, "why do you need a service dog, and what does he provide?". Normally I'm open to giving an answer but the undermining tone and sarcasm as though my dog's presence was a personal offense, left my response with, "that's none of your business." That apparently wasn't enough because a higher ranking employee 2 minutes later sought to go through the same disrespectful and undermining line of questioning, in which I provided him with my dog's papers. I should mention that prior to the second interaction I had my dog stay with my son while I used the bathroom, in which the second employee felt the need to assume he was for my son and began to ask what disabilities he had in order to warrant the animal. Once more a blatant overstep of what should have been a simple interaction. I don't have an issue providing the required documents to verify my service animal, but when the staff would rather interrogate the clientele rather than simply request proof it makes the experience quite tiresome. Will not be returning anytime soon. read more

absolutely stupid im still pissed i couldnt even get into the parking lot let alone follw every cone in the world around the place

I don't know what I was expecting, but I know what was delivered to me in my first experience here...Way over HYPED.. I was hoping for much better customer service and variety than what I encountered. I was hoping for mind blowing choices but was greeted with what I would describe as a Communist State Run gas station. If you want a coke they only have 2 choices regular and diet . If you want a water sure doors and doors of them ..all 3 brands ..chips , sure...24 facings of single serve bags of cheezits . Fountain drink on your mind , sure ..:Buc-ees brand whatever that is..I'll pass on RC knock off garbage..now let's talk about the famous brisket..scoop of dry smoked brisket inside a small tortilla for $6.99! DISSATISFACTION is the word . Not vaule . They brought out a full " fresh" tray of get this.. croissant , sausage, egg, and ccheese sandwiches so I picked one of them up. Runny wet eggs, cold sausage and room temp bread ... pure garbage.. Beaver nuggets taste like fried cornmeal left over after frying catfish..yuck....if you actually need gas, good luck every yahoo is using the covered space for parking not pumping.. restrooms were clean and stocked but it ends there.. save your money and time and just hit up a quick trip..better food and selection.: no car wash either. I personally think this is one beaver that should have been turned into a hat instead of a mascot that represents a Cracker Barrel meets an AMPM gas station. read more
