    Super happy that we got a last minute appointment for our bernedoodle (large size). She got a bath, tune up and a super cute bandana (FREE!). Very satisfied with the result! Reasonable prices!

    Our Pomeranian dogs Snowy and Chloe have been coming to Bubbles for 14 years. Sadly, they both recently passed away due to health issues. We want to thank Bubbles for providing wonderful service all these years. They are experienced, professional and kept our doggies looking beautiful with healthy coats. Staff was always friendly and and they did an amazing job. Thank you again for loving and taking such good care of our fur babies.

    Love coming to Bubbles pet spa to give my dogs a full spa treatment! Aleathea is hands down the best groomer and bather. Very professional, thorough and can tell she is very experienced with the way she bathed, furminated and clipped my dog's nails. I've been on the search to find a pet spa and groomer that is clean, thorough, and professional and I don't have to look any further! I consistently have to get my dogs bathed with all the outdoor adventuring they do. 10/10 would recommend this pet spa, and especially with Aleathea as the bather/groomer.

    Hi this is my second time coming here with my dog and they hurt her paw and her ears were not fully clean. The first time we came, the groomer did an amazing job but this time they did not. I will add pictures. You can clearly still see ear wax and her paws were not buffed or waxed. They are rough.

    Aleachea has been grooming Teddy since we moved to Manhattan Beach. From just a trim, a "wash and blow out" to a full cut (as shown") we have never been disappointed. Aleachea has always welcomed Teddy with high regards and has even stopped us around town to say hi! Highly recommend Bubbles and their great staff.

    They get only 1 star because I can't leave zero stars. I booked my appointment for Scout, my 13 lb Lhasa Apso/Jack Russell mix for a haircut. I told them before hanging up, "I have to tell you, she has an extra dew claw on her left rear foot. Please mark her chart, I don't want to forget to tell you on Sunday. If it gets cut, she'll be really upset." The person on the phone said, "ok! I'm glad you told us that. In case we forget on Sunday, it'll be marked." SO, I go in today, Sunday with Scout, and the first thing I say is, "Hi, here's Scout. Please don't forget she has a rear dew claw". Mayra said, "ok, thanks for reminding me." Twice more while checking her in, I reminded them about her rear dew claw. Upon my leaving, I was asked if there was anything else they needed to know about Scout. I said, she's a really sweet girl, and no, nothing else remarkable except that dew claw on her left rear foot. I left and set out to run some errands, and about an hour later, I get a call from Bubbles. They stated that they just wanted to let me know that Scout had an extra toe near her ankle and the groomer didn't know, but somehow must have cut it off, and Scout was bleeding from it. I blurted out, "Didn't I tell you THREE times and show you TWICE her dew claw? I told you guys about it because I did not want her injured. Do I need to come get her right away?" The person on the phone said "no, we just wanted to let you know and N is going to try to finish her. We close at 5 today so make sure you get here in time to pick her up." As if I'd leave my traumatized and not injured dog there with them. I showed up to pick her up, and she was still being worked on. I spoke to the person at the desk, saying, "I am really unhappy and angry about this. I was very clear about her foot and she should not have been injured. Her groomer looked up and said, "ya. I know you told me about it, and I did my best, but I cut it." I bit my tongue to the best of my ability. This dog was rescued from a really bad situation and I have no need for her to be further traumatized. The cashier then said, "the bill for Scout is $61.00. I can document what happened in the customer complaint file." I told her to go ahead and do that. Scout was finished being groomed, and suddenly her collar was missing. The staff looked high and low for it. They apologized about losing her collar and said if they find it, they'll call. They handed me Scouts microchip tag on a long twisted wire and said they found that part. I then said "I'm even more unhappy now. I'm going to have to buy a new tag at PetSmart that will cost me about $15 and another collar at about $15 and a replacement license tag at $8.00." It's the 4th of July, and there is NO WAY I'd let my dogs go outside or be without a collar and tags. I was advised that they'd let Marco know and he's probably give me credit on my account for future groomings. As if I'd ever go there again after this! Finally about 5:45 I received a voice mail from Bubbles saying that Scouts collar was found, it slipped between 2 counters. The message said If I leave my address they will drop the collar off. Of course this came after I spent over $30 at PetSmart for new tags. Further, I'm leaving the country on Tuesday, so my time has been extremely limited this weekend. I called back, and left a voicemail saying I am out of the country on Tuesday for 2 weeks, and asked them to mail the collar to my house. Come to think of it, it wouldn't be a bad idea, because I wouldn't have to go there again. Scout's foot has stopped bleeding, and I took a look at it. There is a little flap of skin where her dew claw was. I just wanted my sweet little dog groomed, but she was left with scraggly hair on her belly, and her face looks chopped funny. Little did I know would the grooming fee cover an amputation of her toe and the opportunity to be forced to buy her a new collar and tags too. Unless you are using the self service, I say RUN from this place. Never again will ANY of my 4 dogs come here.

    Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with this groomer, my dog Marley was dropped off for grooming last Wednesday, and they did a good job on his haircut he's a large poodle mix dog, however when he got home there was blood on my floors and rug from his nail bleeding. He does have black nails, so it has happened once before at a groomer that his quick was cut accidentally, our issue is that no one called to tell us they had happened, we stopped the bleeding, however on Friday it reopened and bled even more for at least 30 min which was why I have to think it was a pretty deep cut that had to have been bleeding pretty badly when my dog was still at the groomer. Luckily I'm a nurse and didn't panic and was able to treat it but I had to bandage and treat his nail myself (can't imagine how much a vet visit would have cost if I wasn't familiar with how to stop the bleed). After this happened we called the groomer to report the issue as this is an integrity problem since no one even bothered to call us to say what happened to his nail, whom ever answered the phone stated they would have the manager/ owner call us back, I even gave it through the weekend and Monday came and went an no call. We definitely won't be coming back or recommending this place. Picture attached after I had cleaned up his nail and had bed all over my house.

    I used to take my puppy here when it was under different ownership, and I loved it! I had no idea…read morethey were under new management until I got on Yelp to find out if Samantha was still with the company; I was curious because I didn't love the haircut my puppy last received here. It wasnt until I read all of the RECENT bad reviews that my last experience with Paws-A-While started to make sense... When I last dropped my pup off, they told me it would take three hours. However, they didn't ask me to pick him up until five hours later, and this was after I called numerous times. When I arrived to pick him up, they were still in the process of grooming him. While I was paying at the register (increase in pricing), I witnessed them cut his paws. My dog screamed in pain. The groomer looked at me and said "he is just being dramatic, I didn't hurt him." Few weeks later I noticed he had cuts/scabs on his elbows. Paws-A-While is now a mess. Avoid this business.

    Stay far FAR away. Sherry does not listen to her customers nor does she know the dogs that come…read moreinto her shop. She talks a good talk to get you in the door, but proved to be highly unorganized and unprofessional in her communication. That's if you can even get a hold of her.. She is denying to have shaved my dog when I dropped him off for a bath only and picked him up with patches of hair missing. Luckily hair grows back. Any owner would have apologized and made things right but Sherry was only interested in charging us. I have a feeling this owner will continue to drive customers away.
