Took my dog here today, and while the grooming was okay, (had better elsewhere), when I picked him up, I was charged with services that I did not authorize! They charged me $25.00 for dematting, which has always been included with the wash and deep brush. I was also charged an extra $15.00 for a flea bath. My dog doesn't have fleas! To top it off, I was charged $8.00 for a pet service fee!?! What is that? I have taken my dog to this Bubbles before but have never been ripped off like this! We won't be coming back! read more

The cut looks great but they completely take advantage of you when it comes to the price. This is my second time. The first time Over the phone they quoted me $95. She is a 5 month old puppy. 16lbs When I dropped her off, they said they will not clean her ears or do her anal glands because she is a puppy. I said OK no problem. When I went to pick her up, they said the total price was $130??? I said that doesn't make sense. They said that is their starting price no matter what they do. I waited a few months before I got her groomed again. Did some basic trimming myself with scissors and brushed her daily. I brought her in again, now she is 8 months. Today the price was $145. She is only 18lbs. They said yea the price keeps increasing u til she stops growing. WTH??? They are a complete rip off. What sucks is the groomer actually does a phenomenal job but definitely not worth the price gauging. read more

Very professional, thorough and can tell she is very experienced with the way she bathed, furminated and clipped my dog's nails. We have been taking Bella to Bubbles Pet Spa for a couple of years. They always do nice work. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the facilities are very clean. While Bella doesn't care to have a haircut and bath, I like how good she smells and that she is once again the color white. In addition to grooming services, Bubbles a very reasonable do it yourself dog wash area with all needed shampoos, conditioner, drying and brushing tools. They get only 1 star because I can't leave zero stars. I booked my appointment for Scout, my 13 lb Lhasa Apso/Jack Russell mix for a haircut. I told them before hanging up, "I have to tell you, she has an extra dew claw on her left rear foot. Please mark her chart, I don't want to forget to tell you on Sunday. If it gets cut, she'll be really upset." The person on the phone said, "ok! I'm glad you told us that. In case we forget on Sunday, it'll be marked." SO, I go in today, Sunday with Scout, and the first thing I say is, "Hi, here's Scout. Please don't forget she has a rear dew claw". Mayra said, "ok, thanks for reminding me." Twice more while checking her in, I reminded them about her rear dew claw. Upon my leaving, I was asked if there was anything else they needed to know about Scout. I said, she's a really sweet girl, and no, nothing else remarkable except that dew claw on her left rear foot. I left and set out to run some errands, and about an hour later, I get a call from Bubbles. They stated that they just wanted to let me know that Scout had an extra toe near her ankle and the groomer didn't know, but somehow must have cut it off, and Scout was bleeding from it. I blurted out, "Didn't I tell you THREE times and show you TWICE her dew claw? I told you guys about it because I did not want her injured. Do I need to come get her right away?" The person on the phone said "no, we just wanted to let you know and N is going to try to finish her. We close at 5 today so make sure you get here in time to pick her up." As if I'd leave my traumatized and not injured dog there with them. I showed up to pick her up, and she was still being worked on. I spoke to the person at the desk, saying, "I am really unhappy and angry about this. I was very clear about her foot and she should not have been injured. Her groomer looked up and said, "ya. I know you told me about it, and I did my best, but I cut it." I bit my tongue to the best of my ability. This dog was rescued from a really bad situation and I have no need for her to be further traumatized. The cashier then said, "the bill for Scout is $61.00. I can document what happened in the customer complaint file." I told her to go ahead and do that. Scout was finished being groomed, and suddenly her collar was missing. The staff looked high and low for it. They apologized about losing her collar and said if they find it, they'll call. They handed me Scouts microchip tag on a long twisted wire and said they found that part. I then said "I'm even more unhappy now. I'm going to have to buy a new tag at PetSmart that will cost me about $15 and another collar at about $15 and a replacement license tag at $8.00." It's the 4th of July, and there is NO WAY I'd let my dogs go outside or be without a collar and tags. I was advised that they'd let Marco know and he's probably give me credit on my account for future groomings. As if I'd ever go there again after this! Finally about 5:45 I received a voice mail from Bubbles saying that Scouts collar was found, it slipped between 2 counters. The message said If I leave my address they will drop the collar off. Of course this came after I spent over $30 at PetSmart for new tags. Further, I'm leaving the country on Tuesday, so my time has been extremely limited this weekend. I called back, and left a voicemail saying I am out of the country on Tuesday for 2 weeks, and asked them to mail the collar to my house. Come to think of it, it wouldn't be a bad idea, because I wouldn't have to go there again. Scout's foot has stopped bleeding, and I took a look at it. There is a little flap of skin where her dew claw was. I just wanted my sweet little dog groomed, but she was left with scraggly hair on her belly, and her face looks chopped funny. Little did I know would the grooming fee cover an amputation of her toe and the opportunity to be forced to buy her a new collar and tags too. Unless you are using the self service, I say RUN from this place. Never again will ANY of my 4 dogs come here. read more

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience with this groomer, my dog Marley was dropped off for grooming last Wednesday, and they did a good job on his haircut he's a large poodle mix dog, however when he got home there was blood on my floors and rug from his nail bleeding. He does have black nails, so it has happened once before at a groomer that his quick was cut accidentally, our issue is that no one called to tell us they had happened, we stopped the bleeding, however on Friday it reopened and bled even more for at least 30 min which was why I have to think it was a pretty deep cut that had to have been bleeding pretty badly when my dog was still at the groomer. Luckily I'm a nurse and didn't panic and was able to treat it but I had to bandage and treat his nail myself (can't imagine how much a vet visit would have cost if I wasn't familiar with how to stop the bleed). After this happened we called the groomer to report the issue as this is an integrity problem since no one even bothered to call us to say what happened to his nail, whom ever answered the phone stated they would have the manager/ owner call us back, I even gave it through the weekend and Monday came and went an no call. I can't get over how AWESOME this place is. My puppy always comes looking so cute every time he comes home from Bubbles. This is my first time having a pup in years so of course I was nervous when I felt left him. Not only did the groomer send me a picture of him as he was getting ready to get his hair cut but kept me updated on his progress! How reassuring is that! My little boy always leaves so happy after he's been groomed. It totally is a spa day for him. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm not sure why other people have rated them so low, they are always so nice and helpful. I love that he's in and out and I don't have to leave him there all day like other grooming locations. I had taken my Yorkie, Choco, to this groomer one other time and everything went fine. This time, not so much. When I picked him up he looked nervous and scared; I wasn't too alarmed though because in general he's pretty nervous and does not like being left anywhere. When we got home he was walking very slowly and was not at all excited to be going on a potty walk. When I asked if he wanted to go home he started walking in that direction without hesitation, very unusual. Once inside he was still trembling and couldn't seem to get comfortable. It's been several hours and every now and then while walking he yelps in pain. I've tried looking at his nails to see if perhaps they cut them too short, but he won't let me, he growls and bares his teeth. I came on here to see if anyone else has had a similar experience, and wasn't planning on leaving a bad review but when I saw, from other reviews, that they do not handle these situations well, I figured it was best to leave mine and warn others. I also found that Furr Paws in Lawndale has excellent reviews in case anyone is still searching, I myself will be trying them out and will not be returning to Bubbles. Extremely disappointed. Follow up: They did reach out to me and the woman who called left a message. She sounded very sincere and concerned about Choco and asked that I call back and give them a chance to make it right and/or to figure out what happened. Unfortunately, Choco has an excellent memory and I couldn't take him back no matter what; I just know he'd freak out and I'd rather not put him under the stress. I'm sure it was a combination of them cutting his nails too short, all the noise in the spa, and his anxious nature, and although I will not be returning, I appreciate that they responded. read more

I am new to the area and I have a Giant Schnauzer named Winston. He has a wire coat that requires hand stripping, a service that is hard to find and even more challenging to find someone who knows what they are doing. The groomer who worked on Winston did an amazing job taming his gnarly coat. The space was also very nice and the rest of the staff was friendly. The vibe was also chill for Winston (who is normally going nuts in those types of situations). They handled him very well and I would definitely trust them with the most challenging of dog personalities. They have definitely earned a new repeat customer. read more

I found this place a couple months back & gotta say me and my husky Luna love it here. I've noticed that a lot of other grooming salons keep my husky for 3-4 hours and this place never takes longer than 2 hours. An employee there told me that they have a one groomer one dog policy & it's obvious they pay attention and care about what they do because they never fail to tell me anything new they notice on my pup. My dog just needs a simple bath and no haircut, so usually she's a pretty simple customer. Recently my dog developed some allergies and I've had to use medicated shampoo to get some folliculitis under control. The groomers at Bubbles didn't bat an eye when I asked if they could use her medicated suds (which needs to be left on for a few minutes) instead of the usual stuff they use. They also modified some other aspects of the process in an effort to not irritate her skin-- I didn't even have to ask. I've brought my dog here since the day I rescued her, and the groomers not only get her clean and pretty, they give her the TLC I'd give her myself.
