This place is a winner! I was a first timer, and experienced terrific customer service. The gal at the front showed me how to use all the gadgets and everything you need to wash your pup is available. There is plenty of stations. I was worried about not having to make an appt, but it didn't matter, as we waited 5 min. They also made time in their busy place to clip my pup's nails. I will definitely be returning. The main reason we come to this self-wash location is because of the soap pump, which makes washing our large dog much quicker and easier. Unfortunately, when we visited today the soap pump wasn't working from the start, which made the wash take significantly longer. Because of that, we had to add extra time that cost an additional $10. When I mentioned the issue, the employee in charge questioned what happened to the pump as if we had broken it, even though it was already not working when we started. While she eventually removed the charge, the interaction felt rude and accusatory. She also mentioned she would be removing the pump entirely, which was disappointing since it's the main reason we choose this location. Overall, the experience left us feeling blamed for something that wasn't our fault.This place has always been 5 stars worthy until this interaction. read more

I have been taking my anxious dogs here for years and they've always done a great job. It's not easy to find a trustworthy groomer, and I'm grateful that their prices are reasonable for LA. There are a lot of groomers out there who dont know what they're doing or lack the patience and compassion to ensure your dog has a safe experience that isn't traumatizing or harmful. Everyone at The Pet Wash knows what they're doing and does it with compassion. Why do other groomers need to take your dog behind closed doors and keep them in a cage? We regularly get our dog groomed here, normally great. We cancelled one apt and the required us to give a card for a deposit. I read all of the details the the store employee over the phone and the next day it was used for a $900 phone bill in Dallas. Funny thing is is the card that was used was an authorized user card that hadn't been used for anything else. Be careful with this place, I understand it's family owned which is great. My first time at pet wash its was cute how they have a lil private room for my yelling hell furry baby they have options for shampoos the Cashier was helpful and caring of my baby giving me advice on how to clean her ears and to cover them so no water would go inside. The best part the dog park is just down the street after Audrey my baby finished playing finished getting dirty this is a great location to shower them.
