I ended up booking for a 45 min slot since it was a $1 more for the extra 15min and I have a Labrador and figured it would take a long time to dry her and didn't want to feel rushed. Turned out that I was able to wash and dry her in 30min, so now I know to book a 30min slot. Will definitely come back here again! They have everything you need. What I also liked was that they provided you with ear cleaner solution, a leave in conditioner, and a dog treat! My fist and last time there. It was relatively quiet with only a couple of other customers. The wash tub was clogged, and my dog sat in dirty soapy water. The attendant was pleasant but completely unhelpful and oblivious to my requests to unclog the sink. Be aware that the tubs are quite high and almost impossible to get an elderly or disabled dog in and out. Additionally, a disabled person would not be able to use the wash tubs. It is $17 per bath and it includes towels, shampoos, combs etc. (Next time I plan to bring our own shampoo for fleas that we use as a precaution) The staff was very friendly and directed us on what to do as it was our first time here. They also have some food, snacks, and doggy items for purchase but not that big of a spread of stuff. I really enjoyed this place as it seemed to be kept clean and tidy most of the time. I decided to give this place a try because my dog wash in need of a bath and I could not make an appointment with her regular groomer in such short notice. I also needed a place that had a dryer and this is what I found. I saw online that they are strict with time and I made sure I arrived early just in case. Walking in, they make you wait outside if you're early so they can clean the stalls to make sure it's good to go. Walking into the stalls I enjoyed that you could close the gate so the dog can be more comfortable. I also liked that they had stairs in the stall for big dogs. My dog is over 75 pounds and I struggle to lift her up so; the stairs were an excellent addition. They had a short leash to use for the tub which helped and the water was warm. They also provided shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a little dog biscuit. You can bring your own but they provide it if you forget your own. My dog enjoyed her bath as usual. Their blow dryer was strong however, it was a little hard to maneuver because it is big and bulky. My only issue is that there was hair from another dog on the floor and in the trash can. Once you turn on the blow dryer, all of the hair goes everywhere. I assumed when the attendant said he was cleaning out the stall that he emptied the trash can and at least swept underneath the tub. Overall, it's a nice place with music playing in the background. They also have treats to purchase if you need some. I would go back because it's a reasonable price and has a dryer if you don't have one at home. read more

I love the idea of doing it myself and the prices are definitely reasonable! My only issue was the cleanliness of the place. I've been here many time but with lots of time in between. This time my stall was so gross. There were old dirty towels on the floor under the sink...I guess to catch the water but they were gross. Change them out. I dropped something on the side of the tub and the amount of hair and stuff was disgusting. Like it hasn't been cleaned in months. They've done away with the aprons and there's no longer any choices of cologne for afterwards...only one almost empty bottle and it was so so. I prefer to bathe my dogs myself and I like this place. The stalls are private and you can let your dog be free off the leash inside your own stall because it is gated. Only thing I didn't like was that their shampoo was watered down but that's not a problem bec I prefer my furminator shampoo anyway. I like how they leave a treat in the towels as if this is the doggie spa. Staff was friendly and I liked that you book your time online so you don't have to come and wait. You come in. I used to bring my Dog here for self bathing. I really liked it initially, and had no issues for the few years I used their services, but now my opinion has completely changed due to my interactions with the owner. I had to cancel my reservation due to my boyfriend being in a car accident and therefore did not have transportation to take our dog there. I tried to reschedule first thing in the morning, and no staff answered the phone call. I left voicemails and did not receive a call back. After calling for probably the 5th or 6th time, I FINALLY reached someone, who was of no help. All the young man said was that I could go online to the contact page and send a message to the owner about requesting to reschedule my appointment. Long story short, after many attempts to get ahold of her, she denied the request and kept reiterating that same day "cancellations" are not allowed and that we cannot reschedule or receive a refund. How is this ok? An emergency did not matter to her, just her policy/procedures, and receiving $$. No empathy or concern was offered/given. Nor were any apologies. She was highly unreasonable and flat out rude. I had to do a charge back at the bank because the owner refused to help her customer. I will NEVER ever return here. read more

I began using their service when I moved to the So. Bay from Silverlake last year. My experience was as expected: You pay and someone shows you how things work and leave you to it. Previously my take on staff was like being a patron at a old record store where your questions are politely tolerated by the indifferent staff. You have to make online appointments now and their prices have increased from $14 to $18. I was late. But discovered the ten minutes I assumed I'd forfeited was actually 1 hr 10 minutes. My appointment was at 10 AM; not 11 AM. Defeated and a little embarrassed, I started to leave. What I'd hoped would happen during the strange moment of silence between myself and the young woman who worked there was that she would empathize that the money their client was forced to prepay would just be absorbed and offer to reschedule. Instead, I was reprimanded about the reminders that all clients receive the day before their appointments followed by a condescending, "Have a nice day." It was that snarky, sarcastic sentiment that made me snap and the "Fuck you." that escaped my lips was the catharsis I needed to just get in the car and leave. I don't know how this place got their ratings. I will never bring my dog here. Seriously upset for my dog. I specifically told the groomer that I have a miniature golden doodle and to take the length down half length, which was about 1". I specifically told her to do a puppy cut and I emphasized that my dog is not a toy poodle and to not do a poodle cut. When I came back, the groomer completely butchered my dog. She said her hair was tangled so she had to go shorter than expected. WTF. My mini Golden doodle has the best wavy hair that I personally used a detangler spray and a brush weekly. I love this place and wish I could give them 5 stars, but in order to do that I would need them to instal a ground level tub for the heftier, older dogs like my 8yo, 100lb lab*. Getting up the ladder style steps, into the raised tubs, is difficult for my big pup, and hard on his joints too. A lowered tub would be amazing, because I really do love the friendly and knowledgeable groomers at this place. They have an awesome selection of treats, including gluten free varieties (huge plus for those of us with gluten allergic pets)! They even give your fur baby a cute bandana after his/her bath. My dog smelled and felt so good after his grooming service here! My only suggestion would be that you have a way to adjust the dryers. They are extremely noisy and small short haired dogs don't need to be dried by a cyclone. The pictures are much better than the actual place. The business is fairly dark inside and our stall that day had trash in the trash can, dog fur mostly, dog fur on the dressing table and dog fur in the drain catch. You can only make an appointment on line. They actually refuse to make an appointment any other way and you need to pay in advance, on line, when you book. So, if you need to cancel or change the date or time you SOL and they are no help if you call. It's a pretty basic place. read more

Absolutely love this place! We like to stop in after bringing our Olde English Bulldog, Guinness, to the dog park right around the corner. He goes in dirty and drooling and leaves smelling and looking great, and we don't have to clean up afterwards!! It also doesn't hurt that the owner is really nice and always has specials running (today we were the 800th checkin on Facebook and got a FREE WASH!!! Awesome!). Inside each tub stall they have portable stairs that you can use to easily get your dog into and out of the tub and move them out of the way to allow you to easily wash your dog. They provide honey-almond shampoo that smells great and lathers up nicely, two towels, and a small milk bone (Guinness' favorite part). They also have ear wash, leave-in conditioner, and a blow dryer for you to utilize if you wish. We used to go hear prior to the pandemic and it was great because we could walk in any time, and wash the dogs no issue. After the pandemic restrictions they made it by appointment only and limited to 45 minutes which made it inconvenient but I already had prepaid over $100 in washes. When they set up their new online appointment we were told our washes would be uploaded so we could use them as needed but they never mentioned and had never mentioned the prepaid washes would eventually expire. I log in today to schedule an appointment and it charges me for the wash so I called I. To see how to fix it. After reviewing my account I was informed my 7 washes, a over $100 value and spired in august without any warning or notification. This place isn't worth the castle anymore. I was looking for a place to take my dog for a bath.. Being an 80 lb. puppy, my shower was out of the question. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to be extremely satisfied with this place so I thought I'd give it a try. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. From the minute I walked in the staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were put in our own personal stall with everything you could possibly need to groom your dog. Ear cleaner, wonderful smelling shampoo, a variety of brushes, a blow dryer, and even a leave in conditioner for your dogs coat! Now that's fancy. They provide steps for your pooch to lead them into the bath but Ruger was not having it. The staff noticed my failing attempts to coax him into the tub so a nice strong member of the team offered to lift him into the tub for me. How nice!
