Each room has a gate and walls so dogs really don't see each other once they are getting a bath. Great for big dogs- the tubs are high and big dogs use the steps to get into the tub. Safety is key and each tub has a collar that attaches to tub wall so your dog doesn't jump out. You get the basic shampoo and conditioner with your service, but get purchase more premium care supplies or bring your own. 2 towels and some cookies also are included in the price. After the bath, there is a table where one can again secure the dog with a collar. Blow dryer & ear cleaner also in the room. You aren't rushed and can easily wash & dry your dog(s) in about 20 -25 minutes. Parking is sometimes tricky as this is located in a shopping center. Life during Covid is HARD enough, but to have a business NOT even offer to work something out is WRONG! To not get to use MY TIME which I PAID FOR IN ADVANCE is WRONG! I've been to several self Dog washing places and this one is the best thought through self Dog washing spot. Keep in mind the washing and drying tables are high up so getting a big dog into/out will be a pain. They do have a special stairwell so that you can circumvent that issue. Great spot read more

I've been coming here since the original two girls opened the place almost 20 years ago. It's now on its 3rd owner. She changed the decor to a drab grey, which is not that big of a deal as long as my dogs can get a good bath. The problem I have is with this whole corona virus, they won't let you use the bathroom! I gave this place only 1 star because after purchasing a package, my dog, which was a new rescue, had a very hard time when he was being bathed. He would snap at me and it was really tough to see how afraid he would get. I worked with him for months slowly showing him at home that it would be okay when I bathed him. We took advantage of the $12 special before noon on Tuesday for our very first visit. We must have timed it perfectly as we walked in and had a stall available. Everything was provided. A nice selection of shampoos and a leaving conditioner that smelled great. I found the location to be clean and managed well. A few more dogs arrived after us but they only had to wait a few minutes to get a stall. We even got a free sample of organic dry dog food to try! They also accept donations for local pet rescues! We brought a donation with us too. This was so much easier that trying to get my fur baby clean in the shower. I didn't have to deal with the hair and doggie towels. Took Harley (golden retriever) to the dog park around 8am and of course he loves to get dirty. I was referred to this gem around the corner. As soon as I walk in Lillie (owner) and her staff were incredible. You get your own stall for self grooming, an apron and all the supplies I needed to wash Harley. The facility is simple, easy access to everything and the music was perfect. I was able to wash Harley without worrying about getting the tub and bathroom messy at home. Perfect little business! The new manager reached back out to me regarding the remodel of the store and that she'd offer me a complimentary wash. Number 1 change. The manager's push for customer satisfaction is what drew me in. Great customer sat is hard to come by these days. And I wouldn't have cared about a free wash if they had not inputted the new changes to the store. We took our 2 Jindo's and were very happy with the remodel. We were greeted right away and placed in a stall. Right away I noticed the carpets were gone. That made such a difference. The staff was attentive, they offered us more towels, and within the 45 minutes that we were there, I saw them clean the floors multiple times. I don't take my dog anywhere else. I don't plan to take Samwise anywhere else either. The staff & owners at uShampooch are stars--they have the surprising ability to remember each pet's name too. And to top it off, you can tell they love animals and have a passion for their business. The thing that makes uShampooch for me is that I don't have to clean up. Let me explain: I have a long-haired medium sized dog. A Samoyed is one of the most high maintenance dogs you could own. Luckily, I have a remotely self-grooming one, but the high frequency with which he sheds is ridiculous and having another arena to bathe him in is a miracle for me. The shampoo and conditioner is included in the price and you can get extra materials for a small cost if your dog needs a special bath. You can also buy treats and specialty items for your pet here including but not limited to toys, snacks, shampoos, conditioners, brushes, leashes, etc... One great touch is that uShampooch puts treats in each of the bath stalls to calm your pup down if he/she is a little too overexcited about the bathing experience. All in all, I love this place. The owners are extremely friendly and courteous and the setup is perfect. If you are a first-timer they will teach you how to best wash and dry your dog, go through the different shampoos you can use, and give you little tips so that you can get the same results as taking your dog to a professional groomer. They also sell tons of treats for your dog including pet supplies that are reasonably priced just like you might find at petco or another major chain. This place is great! I've been to DIY dog wash places before but none like this one. Most places have the tubs lines up pretty close to each other which usually results in my dog being really stressed out the entire time and making the whole experience really difficult. This place has a little area with a gate for each tub, they have a variety of brushes , towels and scrubbers as well as ear wash, a dryer and a conditioning spray. Even though the price is slightly high ($17) they give you an entire bottle of shampoo and special shampoos are only 1 dollar more. The staff is also really nice and helpful. read more
