Best dog grooming place in the whole world... I love Adri and Julian. They love our dog and has been grooming her for 5 years now. We are going to take our new puppy to Adri too. Slightly on the pricey side, but so so worth it. She doesn't ever shave the dog off unless absolutely necessary. She is gentle and patient. We love her. I held off writing this review for far too long coz I don't want them to get so busy they don't have time for us. I would give this place a 100 stars if I could. read more

I had 2 standard poodles (large and medium size) groomed today at Dogg Oddities Torrance and they did a magnificent job. The owner hand clipped them, and gave them a beautiful lamb cut (short bodies, feet, face and tail; long legs). They took special care with my 13 year olds, and were a pleasure to work with! Happy to have such a professional groomer so close to Palos Verdes in Torrance. We'll be back! read more

I have been coming to Dog Oddities for the last 7-8 years. Their self-wash service is only place I recommend. They provide every tool you need from shampoo, conditioner, grooming brushes for shower or brushing, ear cleaning solutions, aprons, and blow dryer. The washing stations are really clean and spacious. They offer extra towel if you have a bigger sized dog and they include a meat jerky to ease your fur baby's anxiety. Unfortunately my husky baby passed suddenly a few days ago but this was one of his favorite places. Obviously he didn't like baths but he loved the treat they provide. He would rush through the door to get to the treat. But we as pet owner, we loved how they made us feel welcome and how everything is well organized and planned out thoughtfully. I never felt stressed bringing my pup here. I'm able to groom my pup and leave this place without feeling anxious or stressed. My pup is also able to endure the 1-1.5 hour process calmly. My family friend also sends her pet here for their professional grooming service and she cannot stop raving about this place. If you are unsure, I highly recommend giving this place a try!! You can tell how stress free my pup was in these pictures! read more

I have been taking my Jaxxie girl to Dogg Oddities for years. Jaxxie girl always comes out feeling and looking FABULOUS. She is a small chihuahua and they literally treat her like one of their own. Adriana is a true professional when it comes to dog care and really does hone in on her craft. I have taken my baby to "other chain locations" and she is terrified. But when we go to Dogg Oddities she is never afraid and that peace of mind is priceless. Thank you Dogg Oddities! read more

Their quality of service is excellent but their charges are too expensive we can not afford to keep paying for the service

Looks like they pulled my negative review. By not helping owners get their dogs into the tub is a poor business policy. Sounds like you just want customers to use your full service and thereby get more money. Many people cannot afford full service grooming and older folks like me do need some help getting our dogs into the tub, Noone is asking your employee to pick the dog up. just help guide the dog into the tub. Fortunately, there are quite a few other self wash places that are more than happy to help and those are the ones that give good customer service and have satisfied customers. read more

Adriana is amazing with my anxious, kinda grumpy older shih tzu. We've been going for almost a year and each time the haircuts are great. I'm so glad to have found an amazing, gentle groomer at a reasonable price. I also love that the dogs aren't kept in crates or in a large communal area pre/post groom. My dog doesn't like other dogs, so I usually always do mobile grooming, but this is basically exactly the same level of privacy and attention. I couldn't recommend this business enough. They definitely have a long term customer with me! read more

Adriana is really great at her job, I love how she leaves my puppy every time they are groomed.

Thank you for untangling our long haired adventure pup. He sure did clean up nice...with your help!

We used the self bathe and couldn't be happier. For the low cost of renting the bath it is so much better than trying to give our dog a bath in the bathtub or backyard. Especially since I have a bad back and can't really bend down much. They provide an elevated tub, a selection of shampoos conditioner, brushes, blow dryer, towels, everything you need to get the job done. And on top of that, they are nice! read more

My dogs been coming here for 4 years. Wheaten terrier mix, She has a lot of hair and They treat her well. Dog comes back with a great cut and smells great every time. They always give her a little bandana to and she loves it. The 2 who run the place are always very nice. It's appt only and they do a good job so It's usually a while at so plan accordingly. read more

So this is an amazing grooming place! I'm a new dog owner, to a 5 year old Pit and Labrador mix! Great Customer Service, and great practicing of COVID Protocols! The self wash rooms are great and private! The washing system already dilutes the shampoos in the water sprayer! Like a dog car wash but better. Towels and treats laid out for you and your pooch. The friendliness of the Staff is amazing! Many various pampering services available too! DEFINITELY MUST GO! read more

Literally just left and all I can say WOW! The decor, they have everything you need for the self wash. the owner showing us step by step and making sure we were doing ok and even left a treat for my dog to enjoy! My dog has separation anxiety (he's a rescue and grew attached after being abandoned at the shelter) and this was the best option for him to be comfortable and best decision, great experience for him and my bf and I lol will definitely be coming back! read more

Just moved to the area and am in need of a new groomer for my sweet mini goldendoodle. This place was recommended to me and it's close to my new apartment. Filled out all paperwork online and I tried calling multiple times and left a voicemail to make an appointment. No response...so, I decided to stop by to try to get an appointment on my way home from work. They turned me away and said they aren't taking anymore golden doodles because "they take too long to groom". Super bummed! Guess they don't want new business! read more

Great place and private rooms for you to bathe your mutt in peace. The tubs had soap already measured which was nice and they have cotton balls and q-tips at your disposal. read more

Dogg Oddities is a wonderful facility for self-service dog baths. The space is clean, provides all the essentials including raised tubs, faucet mixers that mix in the shampoo and conditioner products, ear and eye cleaning products, brushes, towels, aprons. So much better than messing up our home or using a garden hose. I can really get our triple coated big dogs wet and clean! Owner Adriana is magic with nail clipping. She does a great job, whereas when we do it ourselves, our big guys squirm and cry. She's done in a minute! Oh, and the music is great! read more

Very pleased with my whole (first time) experience here! The appointment booking process via their website was seamless and efficient, as well as the payment methods (online or in-person). They took excellent care of my dog, Penny. She looks amazing! The shop is clean and they are very friendly and knowledgeable about skin issues. Penny was very happy with them too, which is very important to me. I have found my new groomer and am so happy with them. I should mention that it had been a long time since Penny had gotten a professional groom and as a result, was a lot more work than if she had been going regularly, which is entirely my fault. Even with all that extra work, she looks absolutely amazing. Lots of parking and easy to find the shop are extra bonuses, but the most important thing to me is that they were good to my pup. I would definitely recommend checking them out. read more

I tried booking an appointment online but didn't get a confirmation email, so I called in to double check. They didn't receive the online request but were able to squeeze him in anyways. Always call, guys, if you're not sure! Service wise, Adriana did a great job on Bo! He doesn't look like a hobo anymore and we will definitely be coming back for all of his grooming needs! If you're looking for a groomer who will treat your dog like their own then look no further. Our little toy poodle was petrified of grooming because of a bad experience with a previous groomer at South Bay dog grooming. I was hesitant to trust another but upon meeting the two individuals at the front desk I knew our pup was in good hands. Trust me when I say these groomers are phenomenal! This is by far the best grooming experience we have ever had in the 17 years of owning dogs. They are kind, patient and willing to take an extra 30 minutes just to get to know your dog so they aren't nervous. I can't thank you both enough and look forward to future visits. I felt compelled to write a review for this place even though I selfishly don't want it to get too popular where I have to wait in line! I am a big fan of the self-wash options since my dog feels more comfortable and I don't mind doing it. However, bathing him in the backyard left me with an insanely sore back and in the winter time my options really came down to hoping it would rain, dousing him with shampoo and going on a long walk. (Just kidding, don't flag me.) Dogg Oddities popped up in my Yelp as I was looking for something closer than driving to UShampooch in RB. No, it's not THAT far - but is there anything closer? Hmm. I stopped in and was greeted by some super kind women and cute little pups and was directed into a pretty good sized stall. They took me through all the things - tub, shampoos, towels, dryer, yummy treat for the pup. All standard stuff. Hooray, I thought - this seems great. Except... it got greater. The tub isn't as high as some of the others and since my pup is getting up there in age and HATES to be picked up, this was a welcome sight. AND THEN, there's a removable gate and a small step that he just hops on into the tub. The hose looks a little intimidating, but she showed me the ins and outs. AND THEN, she showed me the INTEGRATED SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER that is distributed THROUGH the hose. WHAT! WAT! WUT! Amazing. I have never seen such a gadget but wow, does this help move things along more quickly. The only thing I would have to say is the table for drying can be a little wobbly for a bigger dog - my pup is about 50 lbs and is fine on it but if it were bigger/sturdier, that wouldn't be terrible. The dryer is great and has two speeds and at the end they give you some sprays to make your pup smell even better. I really enjoy this place - please go support local businesses!!!! read more

What can I say except this place is awesome! I saw the sign one day while driving and decided to check it out..... boy am I glad I did! They are so nice! I brought my pets in for self serve wash, which is such a great price! The receptionist is the sweetest! She answered all of my questions, and let me tell you I had a lot, and helped me with my three rambunctious dogs. The groomer was super helpful and gave me tips on which brushes to use and let me use all kinds of cool shampoos and conditioners which left my doggies smelling incredible! And don't forget the best part, they clean up all the mess from self serve! ;) I recently had one of my dogs groomed and he looks absolutely adorable! I definitely will be coming back! Great prices, great people, great overall! Four paws up from Guido, Gemma and Portia read more

FINALLY a self service grooming option in the South Bay! You have no idea how long I have been searching for one. My fiance and I usually bathe Guinness, a German Shepherd / Lab, but her hair was really starting to clog the bath tub. Our other alternative was to take her to the vet, where they offered reasonable prices on grooming, but I knew she had anxiety when they placed her in the kennels. This place is a one stop shop. They have everything from plush towels to ear cleaning solution. Guinness HATES bath time, but at Dogg Oddities, she's learning to tolerate it. We will definitely be regulars at this place! read more

They were efficient and very friendly during interactions. For once my very neurotic dog didn't seem to mind being at the groomers, and this is after Petco has told t should sedate my dog just to get him groomed. He always has a huge freak out at petco, but the groomers were so kind and gentle with him he actually almost didn't want to leave! Happy to find a place nearby that does such a great job. My Mom's German Shepherd is too big for her to handle and she was desperately in need of a good grooming. Her dog is not socialized and is very anxious. Dog Oddities did a fantastic job grooming her and also doing a deshedding. They knew she was anxious and took their time with her. When I picked her up, she was calm and her coat was beautiful. They even added a Halloween bandana! Super cute! We'll be bringing her back regularly from here on. read more

I really enjoy coming here to bathe my partners dogs. He has two dogs and these rooms are very spacious, clean, and user friendly. The staff is extremely welcoming and approachable. They have many dog colognes free of charge and you can purchase shedding shampoo and other services like nail trimming etc in addition to your self service dog wash. I use the shampoos for shedding removal, for a few bucks I get shampoo and conditioner, it's a generous amount t so I use one batch on both dogs and still have extra to spare. read more
