I've gone here quite a few times over the years and I have always found the older woman to be very rude. I decided to go there tonight for the first time in many years and guess what she is still very rude. All I wanted to do was dry some clothes around 7:45 pm she told me they were closed but let me in a rude way. Needless to say her rudeness irritated me and then the younger one appeared and was just as rude. For me it's all about your tone not so much of what you are saying. But I promise you I will never go back there. I will spend my money when kindness is present. if I didn't have to give a star to post the review, I wouldn't have! read more

This place has gone downhill. The works do not want to do their jobs. They need to understand they were hired to keep the place running and cleaning. I spilled some powered detergent while I was pouring it in the machine just a small amount, and I offered to clean it up. The attendant said, "Oh no that is ok I got it" Then she complains to the Asian attendant. Again, that is your job, if she had a problem she should have just let me clean it like I offered. read more

terrible service! the older woman who works there was rude. when I put my things to dry (there weren't many of them) she pushed me away, pushed my things out herself and threw them in the basket so that I would pay for two dryings instead of one. she shouted at me that she works there and not me! the mood was ruined, I don't recommend read more

I had put my clothes in the dryer for 40 minutes. Came back 20 mins after my clothes were done in the dryer. The employee had moved my clothes to another dryer and told me I took too long. When there was plenty of dryers open and wasn't holding up any dryers. They will touch clothes without your permission. read more

I went to this place for wash and fold service. First and foremost the scale to weight your clothes is not out in the open it in the back and when I kept asking her to weight my bag she refused. Second she never gave me a receipt and accepts cash ONLY, this is very suspectIs all the cash taken being reported to the Commonwealth of Mass? Third, since she doesn't weight your clothes you have no idea what it weighted or the cost so she can makeup any price that she see's fit. Lastly none of my panties/under garments were folded...they were all stacked up in a pile....so I was NOT happy about THAT AT ALL! The scale needs to be visible so the customer know the pounds of the clothes. The price per pound needs to be visible and she needs to have RECORD KEEPING and give customer receipts. If you give her cash in one hand the receipt for services render she be in the other hand. read more

Extremely clean laundromat. The proprietor is welcoming and helpful. I've been watching her take senior citizens' laundry out to their cars. Bilingual Spanish, too. Many sizes of machines and "fluff and fold" service available. Highly recommended. read more

When I don't have my own washing machine I'm known to wait until I'm out of clean clothes (and underwear) before heading to the laundromat. Not a laundromat expert but can give the lowdown on this place: 1. Good large parking lot out front so you aren't schleppjng huge loads on the street. 2. Cost depends on machine with the cheapest wash being 2.50 and it goes up depending on washing machine. Dryers are about 2.00. So decent pricing. 3. There is a change machine on premises but no ATM. So bring cash. 4. It was clean inside and has folding areas but tends to stay busy inside. 5. There is drop off laundry services and dry cleaning available. I HATE doing laundry and am awaiting my washing machine to be delivered. Until then......yay for clean underwear. read more

Cheaper than other places. Asian worker scolded me rather than please do not slam the dryer doors she yelled "gentle gentle" at me. Would have been 4 stars til I got barked at. Negatives are that no where is it advertised how much time per quarter you get. Driers work and don't rip you off. Dryer doors are magnetic and slam themselves. Grow up lady. Ann is the best! Her laundromat is always clean and she's always willing to help you if you need it. I've never had a problem with the machines. They wash and dry completely fine despite despite being on the older side. There was one time when one of the washers was dirty. I just let Ann know and she fixed it for me. I read some reviews that she yells about slamming the dryer doors, which isn't completely true. The glass doors of the dryer are thin and people do slam them, so she is stern about the large sign in the laundromat that says don't slam the doors! Additionally I read some reviews talking about the bathroom, which isn't open for public use so people shouldn't be in there anyways. read more

Never bring anything to that laundry mat if you're not going to stay and supervise it through the whole process. Nobody there takes ownership of anything that is destroyed by somebody removing it from the washer they need. We brought a nice comforter because of the extra capacity washers somebody removed it from the washer and ripped. Then to make bad matters worse the Asian helper claimed that it was ripped when we put it in the washer. Don't bring anything to bubbles laundromat. And the help is extremely rude. read more

My Kenmore Series 600 of five years has finally just died. It's been giving me signs it was not working well and today, well, that was it. Germaphobes CANNOT be without a washer. Eldest son came home (two room mates work in hospitals, I was NOT having that, he needs to be here with family). I wanted to wash his jacket, hoodies, etc. and I threw them in and tossed in extra detergent. No 'juice'. I ran to Bubbles and there was Miss Ann. Bubbly as ever, apologetic that they want people to wait in their cars while their wash processes. DIDN'T BOTHER ME A BIT. They were open for business and she was as always friendly, cleaning, but staying a distance. I love going there; she's like family that's not related. Runs a good clean shop, I like going in there. No tumbleweeds of dryer lint, nothing ever smells 'off'. She's stern but she's a love without question. read more

Ann was very kind and helpful..she and her daughter were not upset that I had stayed 10 min past their closing and helped me with recommending the machines to use. I am so happy that I came here after my horrible experience at Walpole Launderette. I had gone to this place years ago with my Mom and Ann was always kind to us. The place is very cleaned and all but customer service is not professional at all . The Spanish lady on the counter barely speak and understand English and she's rude when you tell her the dryer machine is not working and she replied it's not her problem. I went there numerous time and this is the third time the service over there was bad . They forever having problems with either the washing machine or the dryer. This lady never wants to give you your money back if the dryer didn't dry your clothing and she argued with you like it's her money that was washing the clothing. When someone has a business customer should come first . Customer's shouldn't feel like they are being threatening to speak about an issue they are having with their machine in the laundromat. read more

Back when I was living in a JP tenement and living with roommates w/ no in house laundry. I DESPISED not having laundry facilities on site. There were some small and dirty Laundromats down on Centre st which basically sucked. Laundry pretty took most of a Saturday or a decent Sunday morning or afternoon which seemed like a waste, until I found Bubbles. Bubbles made my life of doing laundry much more tolerable. It is located on the VFW Parkway, close to the VA on the Dedham line in the Stop & Shop Plaza. What I liked it that I could drive there and park start my laundry without fighting or waiting for a machine. Instead of waiting around between loads, I would go next door to the Stop and Shop and get my grocery shopping done. I killed 2 stones w/ 1 bird!! HA HA. Bubbles is clean and staff friendly. Good TV shows on too. I least I could go and get too big chores done and not feel as though I wasted time. Thank God for BUBBLES!! read more

I really want to like this place. It's pretty clean, the price for coin laundry isn't too bad (about $5 a load) and the owner is very helpful. We've been coming here for about 4 months... BUT the last few times we haven't had good experiences. Twice now at least one or two of the machines we used haven't had a working spin cycle and our clothes have been soaking wet. We also are having to redo at least one load each time because the clothes arent coming out clean. This round my uniform load came out covered in hair. Covered. And my uniform is either in my suitcase, on me, or in the laundry basket. As much as we'd like to continue here, we're on the search again. read more

Being in this plaza SO many times within the last 6 months, due to the amazing Dollar Tree next door I assumed this laundromat was the same as the one I go to once a month or so (for extra cleaning and drying) in Norwood, called Bubbles UP. To my surprise, they are VERY different. This laundromat is much less "high-tech", as they still use quarters in the machines in comparison to money cards in Norwood, yet they are much less expensive and washing and drying takes much less time. While I'd wish they'd do some updating, it's a fine stop in the area for cleaning and drying. With a large, vast parking lot, and for a plus, someone working there for help and assurance of no one stealing clothes all the time. Located on the VFW Parkway in the plaza with Savers and Dollar Tree. 4 stars. read more

This laundromat serves it's purpose...the small washers are 2.50/wash and the medium sized washers are 5.00/wash. It's 25¢ per every 7 minutes to dry. (For example, 50¢ would equal 14 minutes of dryer time) There is a machine that will change your $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills for quarters (as this is a coin laundry, the machines only take quarters) The lady who manages the place can be a little "extra" at times, but she pretty much just asks that you not slam the washer/dryer doors, and to be sure not to overload the machines. This location also offers a wash and fold service. There's plenty of parking, and there is a dollar tree and thrift store next door if you want to kill time while waiting on your laundry. read more

The location and machines meet all of my laundry needs. The people working here have always been very kind and willing to offer any assistance if needed. My only complaint is that some of the other customers will use the clothes folding tables as their own personal dining/coffee/diaper-changing property. This is where we put our clean clothes on to be folded. During this pandemic period, I wish that some of the other customers would be unselfishly aware of their actions and how they may affect our community as a whole. Other than this particular issue, this place, and the people working here are all outstanding and go up and beyond the call of duty. read more

To update those of you who are looking for a Laundromat in the West Roxbury/Roslindale area Bubbles is still open however a few things have changed... Single load washes are now $2.00 Double is $3.75 Triple is $4.50 Fortunately the dryers still remain 7 minutes for .25 My main complaint with this out of the way laundromat is the obviously very old appliances. Some even have been duct taped together to squeeze a little more life out of them. Overall not a bad place. It's quiet and spacious and has plenty of parking. Sadly though there are only a handful of places to sit and the woman who works there is a little too in your face for my liking. There must be a better way to do my laundry! read more

We used to come to Bubbles about 8-9 years ago. The woman who runs this place is so unbelievably kind and friendly. To date, this is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been to!!! Everything is always sparkling and smells good, with lots of folding space. Bubbles, no other laundromat will ever live up to you. I use the wash & fold service. Ann is very accommodating, remembers my name, has an upbeat personality, & works hard. She gets my order right every time (such as certain types of clothes on hangers, others folded), & nothing on hangers is ever wrinkled. The BEST was & fold U've ever used. I always forget to write a review about this place but they are fantastic. It's only like 93 or 97 cents a pound. These ladies some how manage to get all the stains out of my clothes. And when I have extra time to wash my clothes myself they have great 60 pound washers and 100 pound driers that do the job quick. read more

I never had a problem with the washer or drier. It is with the Asian woman. She is very condescending and nasty. I told her off and she never bothered me again. Loved this place. My boyfriend and I came here all the way from Brighton. We can't stand any of the places around us. They are either too crowded, or half the machines are broken. Not at bubbles! They have a lot of machines! A good amount of triple loads as well. Everything looked like it was working properly, or at least there weren't any signs saying otherwise. It's in a huge parking lot, so we brought our longboards to help pass the time. It's the best laundry experience we've had in 2 years. We will be back! read more

This place is a great for a no thrills laundry experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and the owner is nice (gave us free hangers for our dress shirts & pants). The machines are on the older side, but they're still coin operated (a big plus) and at $2.00 a wash, you can't go wrong. Add another 25 cents per 7 minutes to dry. read more

Pretty good value for a Laundromat in Boston. This is located in West Roxbury on the VFW parkway in a small shopping center. There are plenty of washing machines that are different types. They have dryers that are based on 7 minute increments so you are not locked in for a full hour. They usually close at 10 PM. The lady who manages the place seems to be nice. The TV is always on and it can get loud sometimes. I have been able to wash and dry four loads with bedsheets for around nine dollars. read more

The gas has been shut off to my house for a few days because of maintenance. So naturally that means no drier. Deciding to take a chance, I took my laundry to this place intending to do 3 loads. I did three loads in under 2 hours for $11.75 from start to finish. The only downsides are that there aren't many seats, and there are no vending machines (which I'm used to having in laundromats). Went there last night after home washer/dryer died. I needed a quick instruction on usage and Ann was very helpful at first, adjusting the dryer settings, and showing me the coin and soap dispensers. I noticed that she had me use a triple washer when it was not indicated and had set it to do two washings - a small batch of towels turned out to cost me $9.00 to wash and then $2.50 to dry. She's pretty slick and seems to prey on the landromat newbies. Also, she ripped the coins out of my hand when I advised her that the coin intake in the washing machine was stuck after already dispensing half of the required coins. She became very upset and said, "what, you don't understand how to do this?" Also, when I proceed to open the washer door when the load stopped, she ran over and slammed the door closed, saying "not okay". Very bizarre behavior. She was quite rude and always in my face during my agonizing two hours there. Another customer even tried accusing me of stealing her change out of the coin dispenser - after watching me change two $10.00 bills. I used one of the older washers with the agitator as well for a white wash - many of the clothes came out with yellow stains after washing. I noticed a greenish/yellow film on the top of the washing tub afterward. Don't use these washers. My experience was nightmarish and I will not be back. Please - somebody help Ann with customer service and English language skills. She was quite rude. read more
