Yummy boba but disappointed in no bathroom. The menu is a lot bigger than expected and everything we sampled was great
This is a good stop around the corner from millennium park and the Bean! The service was super quick and they have all the typical bubble tea options plus some special ones! They have some smoothie options and you can get crème brûlée icing added to your cup for an extra sweet addition. Make sure you add boba pearls and customize your sweetness and ice level. This is a good grab and go option since there isn't any seats so go enjoy your drink in the park!
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy. We ordered a coconut slushie and a strawberry mango sago and were shocked to see that it was $19 for 2 drinks as even the Bay Area prices are less than this. The boba was pretty mushy and tasteless and the drinks were dull and lacking any real type of flavor. We should have asked for more sweetness but overall I can't justify the price of these drinks with the quality.
Made a quick stop in while walking Michigan Ave for a refreshing drink. I got the Thai iced tea with no boba. It's a small spot so the ambiance is mostly grab and go.
Ordered the Thai milk tea, lavender milk tea, and Oreo shake milk tea all with boba. Tried all three and they were all pretty solid. Glad we got to stop by as Nutella was our first option but they had a huge line out the door pretty insane when you can buy Nutella yourself and spread on French toast or a crepe.

Bubblelicious is right next to Stan's Donuts and Garrett's Popcorn... so it was a tough choice. The tiebreaker was the adorable gorilla logo. In brief, Bubblelicious did not disappoint. The boba jellies tasted great, which I can't always say is the case when trying a new Boba joint. I'd definitely come back under similar circumstances when visiting Chicago.

Definitely a solid choice for some good boba! I got the spiced chai milk tea with boba, and it was good. Not overly sweet and a good size for the price. Service was quick, and the place was clean and bright.
I stopped by this bobba spot twice while on my 3 day Chicago vacay. So I guess you can say I enjoyed their boba. Both times I got their strawberry bobba. Fresh, delicious, and the boba was just right!
I like the tea, it's a grab and go kindve place you don't sit in or enjoy seating, there's none. The drinks are pricey. I wouldn't personally spend $7 on a small iced tea but to each it's own. We were really wanting the tapioca balls at the bottom and they just so happened to be the closest to get boba. The iced tea was really good though, naturally sweet!
PSA: they use whole milk for their milk teas, NOT non-dairy creamers (like most places do) so make sure to request for almond milk if you can't have dairy. With that being said, I ordered a jasmine milk tea with almond milk, and it tasted like 95% almond milk with the slightesttt hint of jasmine tea. I thought maybe almond milk is overpowering? But my friend got a lavender milk tea (regular whole milk) and it straight up tasted like milk. You could not detect any lavender whatsoever. We also tried some of their fruit teas, those were alright. Idk if their tea isn't concentrated enough but I wouldn't come back. If you do try, I'd highly recommend a fruit tea over any milk teas. The customer service was nice though!
So happy to find this place, but it needs a dash of help. The actual boba & tea here are delicious. I highly recommend the lavender flavor. What makes me happy about this place is that they have boba as well as jelly, and my favorite- pudding! It's hard to find around here so it's a huge bonus that they have it. The staff wasn't very friendly either time I've been here so far. People were asking questions about different drinks and they were visibly annoyed and rude about it- not everyone has their boba ordering down to a science. This place is pretty quick, helped in part I'm sure by the fact that this is cashless. All in all, it's a spot worth checking out especially if you like the pudding add in as much as I do, but if you're new to boba you might not get helpful answers to your questions.

This place barely meets the criteria on how to make good drinks. The lychee isn't in its true flavor form. Then again , maybe l am spoiled by the choices in the California SGV area. They offer 50% less sugar only; they don't have 75%. read more
Small store front close to Millennium Park on Michigan Ave. I ordered a tiger brown sugar boba milk and very surprised to learn that it doesn't come with boba, it is extra. Seriously! Might want to consider updating the name of your drinks to reflect the actual offering so it is not false advertising. Milk tasted and looked water down. Boba was cooked average, the only silver lining in this experience. Too pricey for the quality. Definitely would not return or recommend! read more

Great Drinks! Worth Visiting Again! I visited here while walking to Millennium Park one late afternoon after the River Architecture Cruise and I really enjoyed the drink I ordered. Millennium Park is not more than a 10-15 minute walk from this Bubblelicious location, so I recommend stopping on in. I usually do not stop in places without first checking out a few reviews, so taking a chance here ended up being a nice experience. I'm glad I took the chance! The drink I ordered was not too sweet - no instant cavities or diabetes - nor was it lacking sweetness. Everything within the drink was balanced... not too much ice, not too much boba. The flavor was a delight and refreshing - not too over or under-whelming. Moreover, the drinks were not overpriced (in my opinion). The staff were nice and even gave me a cup of ice, in a separate cup, upon request. The inside was clean, inviting, and offered an nice surrounding and background for that drink photo! The bottom line - would I visit Bubblelicious again for another a drink? Absolutely! read more

Good place to get a bubble tea in the heart of downtown on Michigan Ave. Lots of selections. I like "with milk." The strawberry/jasmine with milk was good, but there wasn't any strawberry flavor. Had a unique flavor. Definitely would get another boba tea. Friendly. read more
Near to the hotel we were staying so I ordered online & my husband would walk there to pick up. Very easy to order online & the price seem reasonable. I wish I ordered full sugar level for my tea but I tried to go less sweet on anything I can. Mango oolong tea is okay, it has a bit of sour flavor & maybe I need to order double boba next time. My husband 's dagona coffe looked so delicious. My sons got Thai milk tea & Peach oolong milk tea. Was raining & cold but milk tea, why not ?! read more
Worst , and I mean worst bubble tea place ive ever , ever been to. I was so excited and been craving bubble tea and I passed by this place and decided to check it out. The store was empty except for two workers which I should of took that as a sign not to go in. But I just couldn't resist the idea of getting bubble tea so I came in , I order the mango tea with boba. It was over $7 which is alot for a small drink. The girl looked really inpatient and wasn't friendly at all. I felt like me coming in there was such an inconvenience to her , as if I was interrupting her and the guy. It was very uncomfortable and upsetting because here I am first time customer feeling out of place and like a disturbance. No paying customer should ever feel that way ever. When I got my drink it tasted absolutely disgusting as if I was drinking old milk. I nearly threw up, it was so bad. I would have got back for refund if I had the time because it was so distasteful and the mango wasn't even mixed properly. Again the girl made in such a rush to get me out of the store it was insane. I should of known right then and there to just return and it and get my money back. I really hope the owner sees this review and works on fixing their establishment ASAP. read more
Visiting Chicago and I needed to have a good boba tea, and bubblelicious is the perfect spot for that. We were there a soon as they opened and the service was great , the taro milk tea was delicious. Many options to choose from milk teas , to tea lattes! read more

Very tasty bubble teas. Good selection. They understand vegan / non dairy and helpful in suggesting vegan options. You can tell the quality compared to other places. Only wish if they can add other non dairy options like coconut milk to the options. read more

We ordered oolong milk tea and add for 50% . The drink came out really bland and taste more milk than tea. However, the we nice enough to make another one for us. However I do avocado green tea drink is acceptable. Supposedly, it is made of real avocado, but the ratio of avocados to milk is too little for you to really taste the avocado. Too expect deliciousness but just acceptable at this place. read more

This spot is in between the riverwalk and millennium park. It's a great stop for either direction you're going. The inside is small, but clean, and the decor is so cute. Their logo is a gorilla and is adorable. The menu is on the screen and ordering is easy. The staff make the drinks really quickly without compromising flavor, and we're really patient with explaining the menu. Considering the location and small size this place can get packed, but the line moves quickly. We got the tiger black milk tea and peach green tea. The tiger black milk tea I think is their version of brown sugar boba and was soo good! It wasn't overly sweet, but still hit all the flavor notes. The peach green tea was very refreshing on a hot day! read more
Arrived in Chicago and first place I need to stop at will always be a boba shop! Glad this was close to Giordano's so I can stop by while waiting to be seated for deep dish pizza. The shop looks very modern and smells of fragrant black tea which is usually a good sign at a bubble tea shop. Since I will be eating something heavy, decided on a fruity drink. I ordered the Mango Green Tea w/ lychee jelly. My friends ordered a grapefruit green tea w/ lychee jelly and a Potted Plant Milk Tea w/ boba. The mango green tea is pretty good, very fragrant green tea and decent mango taste. Definitely quenches my thirst! The grapefruit green tea was the same. As for the Potted Plant Milk Tea, we were not a fan as it was very bland; not a lot of tea taste and not sure what we were really expecting. There were some Oreos on top, but didn't really add to the flavor. I will come back to try a regular milk tea since that's usually a tell-tale sign of a good boba shop. If you want something to quench your thirst, definitely go for one of the fruit teas. I'll update once I try a milk tea. read more

I loved this place! Fast, friendly, and helpful staff. I wanted to try something new so I tried taro milk tea. I was so excited they had popping boba which is so hard to find where I live. I asked for a suggestion from the employee and she said I should try the strawberry popping boba. It was amazing! It tasted like fruity pebbles. Honestly it was some of the most delicious boba tea I've had. It's pretty small inside and only basically grab and go but that's ok. Also I love their logo of a gorilla blowing bubbles! Unfortunately not happy with the Thai Milk Tea from this place - it didn't have the Thai Tea flavor, or even of sweet condensed milk? More just like a milk/cream-forward drink that was not a similar taste to a normal Thai tea you would expect :/ My friend's mango tea was tasty, but definitely more of a very sweet drink rather than a tea. read more
Almost $9 (including tax) for a cup of milk, some brown sugar syrup, and tapioca pearls...definitely not worth the price. I would instead spend the same money on a much higher quality coffee/espresso drink...which you can easily find at a number of places a couple of blocks up north from here on Michigan Avenue. read more
Fine in a pinch but over $7 for the classic milk tea with boba was too pricey for me to be a regular. Of course, this location will get plenty of tourist foot traffic and so I'm not surprised it's a little more expensive. I will say I did enjoy my drink, and also thought it was a nice size. The woman working the counter was friendly and quick - I did visit when there wasn't a line but my order was still up in less than 60 seconds. And away I went, because this is a take & go kinda place - there's no indoor seating. The decor inside is pretty clean and simple, and I love the logo! read more
