Yummy boba but disappointed in no bathroom. The menu is a lot bigger than expected and everything we sampled was great

This is a good stop around the corner from millennium park and the Bean! The service was super quick and they have all the typical bubble tea options plus some special ones! They have some smoothie options and you can get crème brûlée icing added to your cup for an extra sweet addition. Make sure you add boba pearls and customize your sweetness and ice level. This is a good grab and go option since there isn't any seats so go enjoy your drink in the park!

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy. We ordered a coconut slushie and a strawberry mango sago and were shocked to see that it was $19 for 2 drinks as even the Bay Area prices are less than this. The boba was pretty mushy and tasteless and the drinks were dull and lacking any real type of flavor. We should have asked for more sweetness but overall I can't justify the price of these drinks with the quality.

Made a quick stop in while walking Michigan Ave for a refreshing drink. I got the Thai iced tea with no boba. It's a small spot so the ambiance is mostly grab and go.

Ordered the Thai milk tea, lavender milk tea, and Oreo shake milk tea all with boba. Tried all three and they were all pretty solid. Glad we got to stop by as Nutella was our first option but they had a huge line out the door pretty insane when you can buy Nutella yourself and spread on French toast or a crepe.

I was waiting to check into my hotel around Millennium Park, so of course I ventured around for a Sweet Treat. Bubblelicious is right next to Stan's Donuts and Garrett's Popcorn... so it was a tough choice. The tiebreaker was the adorable gorilla logo. In brief, Bubblelicious did not disappoint. The boba jellies tasted great, which I can't always say is the case when trying a new Boba joint. I'd definitely come back under similar circumstances when visiting Chicago.

Average boba. Nothing too amazing. It was super expensive for an average boba tea. The lady helping me out was nice and friendly and was patient with all my questions . It's more of a grab-and-go spot and not much seating.

Great selection of flavor options! I got the mango pomelo sago with a coconut jelly add on and it was so good! My brother got the strawberry matcha and I thought it was good but a little light on the matcha. Pretty pricey but a good amount of drink. Very crowded when I went in (very small place) but the workers were efficient and a quick wait for the amount of people in front of me

Definitely a solid choice for some good boba! I got the spiced chai milk tea with boba, and it was good. Not overly sweet and a good size for the price. Service was quick, and the place was clean and bright.

I stopped by this bobba spot twice while on my 3 day Chicago vacay. So I guess you can say I enjoyed their boba. Both times I got their strawberry bobba. Fresh, delicious, and the boba was just right!

Steady great boba with all of the fruit and milk and coffee flavors. Always come here! It's the place you want to go to when you crave boba

I like the tea, it's a grab and go kindve place you don't sit in or enjoy seating, there's none. The drinks are pricey. I wouldn't personally spend $7 on a small iced tea but to each it's own. We were really wanting the tapioca balls at the bottom and they just so happened to be the closest to get boba. The iced tea was really good though, naturally sweet!

PSA: they use whole milk for their milk teas, NOT non-dairy creamers (like most places do) so make sure to request for almond milk if you can't have dairy. With that being said, I ordered a jasmine milk tea with almond milk, and it tasted like 95% almond milk with the slightesttt hint of jasmine tea. I thought maybe almond milk is overpowering? But my friend got a lavender milk tea (regular whole milk) and it straight up tasted like milk. You could not detect any lavender whatsoever. We also tried some of their fruit teas, those were alright. Idk if their tea isn't concentrated enough but I wouldn't come back. If you do try, I'd highly recommend a fruit tea over any milk teas. The customer service was nice though!

Since I recognized the TBaar name, I figured it would be the safest option for reliable, quality boba. I visited on a Friday afternoon and the shop was surprisingly empty, with the three workers apparently excited to have someone walk in the shop. The inside area is small and there is no seating available for those wanting to casually hangout while enjoying their drinks. The area didn't seem to be the safest considering the activity witnessed outside, so it is probably best to not offer seating. Since it was warm, I ordered a large matcha smoothie (75% sugar level) with tapioca along with a large piña colada smoothie (75% sugar level). I inquired about the "white pearl" on the menu thinking it was white tapioca but it was actually agar jelly so I opted out of that; the male worker seemed annoyed when I asked and responded minimally. The drinks were ready in about five minutes. The matcha smoothie did not have a deep green color I was expecting, usually indicating the drink was diluted or watered down, and I was correct. I was aware that TBaar did not specialize in matcha, but I would've expected more matcha flavor instead of mostly tasting sugar or milk/non-dairy creamer; the 75% sugar level chosen should not affect the amount of matcha used since matcha powder should not have sugar filler. The tapioca was a little too soft for my liking and it would've been nice to have a little more in the large cup. The piña colada smoothie tasted a little better but definitely tasted like it was flavored with artificial syrup. For the River North area, TBaar is a decent option for boba. However, for better quality boba I would consider traveling outside the area, especially if a place that offers safe casual seating is preferred.
