Their bobas are so good, it's soft and chewy and a little sweet. I also enjoyed the jelly. I ordered the classic milk tea with boba and 75% sweetness. I think 50% would be good because the boba is sweet. Wish there was more tea flavor. There was more milk taste than tea taste (if that makes sense). Great boba spot $ I'm originally from the East Bay in California, where there's tons of great places to eat and drink. There's also no shortage of places to find good boba drinks. This spot reminds me of some of those good gems back in Cali. Just like most boba places, you can select the level of sweetness. What's different is the quality of leaves and the container it comes in. I much prefer having it in these wider sized containers. The tea is delicious! I ordered honey lavender, and the lavender really comes through. My husband had their earl gray. You can really taste the bergamot flavor. It was my first time trying the boba here and I was impressed. Each milk tea and smoothie costs $5 flat and it comes with boba without any extra cost! The boba is chewy and fresh. They also use fresh brewed tea for the drink. The size of the drinks are fairly big as well. Earl Grey Milk Tea: The taste of the Earl Grey tea comes through well, not too overpowering. Matcha Milk Tea: The matcha milk tea does not have too strong of matcha flavor and it is not powdery at all. Me and my cousin have made it our mission to try as many boba shops in the Portland area as possible and when I tell you we've been almost everywhere, trust me we have. Yet this place remains my absolute favorite- I always get their Thai milk tea and it is unmatched compared to all the other places I've tried. The boba pearls are super yummy and the service is always quick too. Favorite boba place! Their specialty milk teas are so fun and delicious, and ordering is super easy. Their boba is nice and soft as well. There's two machines to order from, which makes it easy to see all the customization options. Usually has a line, but seems to move along at a good pace (I guess depending on how decisive the crowd is!) There's some seating along the sides, but for the most part it feels more like a grab and go place. The boba cups are short and fat which is a down-side. Reminds me of Half and Half in SoCal; really cute, but doesn't fit in the cup-holder so makes it hard on the drive home (and I think I drink it faster since I can't put it down :P) I wish they posted the menu up so that people could decide before getting to the kiosk; maybe would help move things along a bit faster. Have been here a couple times and they're usually decent, but it feels like their quality has been inconsistent. We get the Coconut Smoothie and the first time we got it, it was smooth and creamy. A little hard to find, this yummy tea spot is located at the very end of a small strip mall. Menu on the wall with little detail, led me ask the friendly cashier about the drinks offered. We chose the blended coconut and substituted milk for coconut milk and added boba. I think this drink could be improved, if another fruit was added. A little too much coconut flavor going on. The sweet peach tea was so delicious. It wasn't overly sweet, tasted fresh, and was so satisfying. The added touch of apples and a cute little flower was adorable. A little disappointed, especially after reading so many hyped reviews on Yelp. I got the Matcha Milk Tea with no boba and less ice. Ended up receiving it without any ice, which made the drink too sweet for my liking. Overall, the drink tastes like artificial matcha powder mixed with sugar and water. Love this place!! I've usually only gone to Tea Chai Te whenever I'm in Portland, but the bubble tea game here has significantly approved over the years! Tea chai te has good tea but the pearls (or boba, or bubbles) themselves can sometimes be tasteless or too hard, and sometimes really good! The tea here tasted very natural, the matcha was strong but refreshing. They used real strawberries in the strawberry matcha but there were actual whole piece strawberries I could get through the straw (so feedback to perhaps blend them/chop them to smaller pieces?). The classic milk tea was great too but I feels not as strong as milk tea you can get at the kungfu tea/ sharetea chain locations. Their boba was chewy and sweetened too! Another feedback was that I enquired what their homemade grass jelly was- and the person who took my order said it was made of the same ingredient as the bubble/pearls. So in my head I expected the same chewy consistency (and thought it was super cool that a bubble tea joint has made a grass jelly flavored pearl hybrid). That ended up being actually super inaccurate, the grass jelly was good, but it's just typical grass jelly with an agar jelly texture, whereas the bubble/pearls I'm pretty sure are made of tapioca and are chewy. So perhaps inform the employees what the differences are in ingredients for the toppings? read more

Unfortunately lack of flavor options (they don't have staples like taro milk tea or brown sugar milk tea or roasted oolong) and the heavy amounts of ice they put in makes this a solid 3 star place. Strong tea flavor and soft but chewy boba but just go to T4 or Happy Lemon or Oonobibi for the same thing but better (less ice, more flavor options) Also weird chubby cup shape that doesn't fit in your car. I met up with a friend for boba here. This place was really great especially on a 90+ degree day. We both ordered matcha boba. I enjoyed that you could adjust your level of sweetness and that they gave you a big portion. Seating is limited which is sad because the inside is very cute. I also felt that once we finished the boba tea that we were left with a lot of waste- too much plastic left behind from one drink. I'm sad because I used to like this place but my recent visit makes me not want to come back at all... My sister and I ordered the blended matcha with 75% sweetness to share, and it had little to no matcha flavor at all. The boba is also not sweet, it's chewy but sadly plain. We asked if they could add more matcha powder to the drink, and she said they used matcha tea and it was mixed into the drink, and it would cost extra. She said they can't "add" it, it would need to be blended into the drink. She suggested that next time we select the option of an extra "shot" of tea on the kiosk (although I don't recall that option on there). We asked if she could make us a new drink with the extra shot and we could pay the difference and she refused because that would require them to make a brand new drink... She didn't even say sorry that we were unhappy with it. And to top it off, she wouldn't let me claim my free drink because my credit card was not yet registered with my phone number in their new kiosk system. so "next time" I can use it because apparently it will sync with their old system... I'm super disappointed with their customer service. We were both unhappy with the drink and she wouldn't make us a new one or let us add the matcha "shot" into our drink. I didn't even ask for a refund, just a drink that I'd be happy with. I'm not sure why she thinks we'd come back when we didn't like the drink & the service was bad. I never ask places to remake my drink, but fyi, any other boba shop would've remade it. A lot of places say "you can try it and if you don't like it, I'll make something else for you." My daughter introduced me to this place a couple of years ago, and it's become my go to when I'm craving something sweet, chewy and deliciously refreshing. This place is moderately spacious, and seating is ok: bistro style tables with high stool chairs and window bar seating. I usually order to go and have only sat in their place less than five times. The parking situation can be challenging since they share parking with various businesses, and two of them are restaurants. So, just be prepared to send someone in to order and someone to stay in the car, double parked if you're ordering to go. Back to the boba part of my review; this place is pretty consistent with flavors and presentation. I like my boba with easy ice and my daughter likes hers blended. I think in the last 2 years I was only disappointed one time. So give them a try if you're in Beaverton and craving boba. read more

The hype is real! I did enjoy this boba place and their price is super reasonable for the portions they give. The service was excellent but it's hard to customize your drink if you're particular. They don't have blended versions, you can't change the sweetness and they do give quite a large amount of ice which fills a good amount of your cup.
