One of my favorite boba spots in the area. I highly recommend the matcha, Thai, and Ube milk tea when they have it available. I love that boba is a free add on. My only con is they give a LOT of ice. I ordered less ice and this was my cup after finishing. Ps. If you ever wonder what their vanilla milk tea tastes like, it tastes like if grass jelly was a milk tea flavor
It was pretty busy when we came, and was a bit of a wait. The drinks come in cute short fat cups, but doesn't fit well in your cup holders. I got the Strawberry Tea with and my bf got the Thai Smoothie. We enjoyed our drinks.
The square has some great little spots, but parking is tight. The ordering process here is frustrating; the screens ask you to take a number, but there are no numbers available. It caused a lot of confusion for everyone in line. My drink was ready fast, which I appreciated. I love the look of the wide cups, but they aren't very car-friendly if you're using a cup holder. Hopefully, they can iron out the kiosk issues soon. Drinks are ok - nothing special.
A friend suggested to meet her as this is her favorite boba spot and I can see why! The parking lot is a little cramped and funky with multiple other businesses in this little L-shaped lot and it's easy to miss the turn to turn into here just FYI. Ordering is all through the kiosks and very user-friendly and easy with the pictures and the add-on options. There was limited seating inside and we came on a Tuesday afternoon so we quickly got a table but I was surprised at how many people came in and out during the hour we were there! They were definitely POPPING on a hot summer day! They are known for their delicious drinks and iconic large containers. So even though I feel like their drinks are on the pricier side ($7-$8) especially with the add-on ($1 for extra bubble) but it's totally worth it and they do have a rewards program as well. My friend got the Thai Tea with 50% sweet and extra bubble and I got the Mango smoothie with regular bubble - next time I'll also do extra bubble! Their boba is fresh and chewy and sweet. Service was fast and friendly and they are hustling churning out drinks for dining-in and take-out. Adding this to a new favorite boba spot! Come support them and satisfy your boba craving here!
Literally my go to and only spot I go for Boba and Thai Tea. They have the best thai tea. So creamy, sweet and rich and I love how friendly the staff are. Interior is very cozy and aesthetic, my perfect spot to go to after a meal to prolong my hangout with friends.
a good spot with a small but busy space. Even though it gets crowded, the drinks come out quickly. I love all the drinks I've tried so far--they're creamy, well balanced, and flavorful. Ordering by kiosk makes it easy and convenient, especially when it's busy. Overall, it's a great place to grab boba if you're nearby.
Bubble N Tea in Cedar Hills is such a solid spot. I got the salted vanilla with boba and it was AMAZING -- perfectly sweet and creamy with that little salty kick that makes it super addictive. The boba texture was spot on too. The shop has a really chill, relaxed ambiance, great place to hang out or catch up with friends. Definitely coming back to try more flavors!
Damn- such an amazing boba place. They were able to do strawberry matcha with no added sugar which is rare- they use fresh strawberries instead of strawberry purée. The dirty earl grey was amazing too - and they were lovely enough to adjust the brown sugar level. Highly recommend. Can't wait to get up tomorrow morning and get another one.
Can confirm, still delicious. Only issue is the cute stubby little cups may not fit in your car drink holder so come prepared.
My wife's new obsession. Oversized cups make you either love it or hate it. Variety of options to choose from. Their peach tea with the Jelly is the go to for us. Make sure you select the boba or jelly on the menu that's included. The menu can be a bit overwhelming. Service is quick and friendly. Parking can be tight at times but usually it's pretty quick to get in and out.
My kid is an expert on Boba, at least she thinks she is;). According to her Bubble N Tea has the "best"! This afternoon, I took my kiddo and her BFF who's also a "Boba expert" for an afternoon treat here. I had the Matcha 25% sweet with Oat Milk, and the girls each got the caramel with whole milk. Mine was very good and I usually don't like the Boba bubble balls, but I did here. I was surprised when I saw the girls caramel Boba's at the amount of caramel drizzled inside; it was quite impressive. The screen ordering system is easy and quick. Man! This spot will never get old. My partner and I used to live in Beaverton, and this was our go to boba shop. We have since moved to SE Portland, and we STILL make the trek out to get drinks here. The quality is unmatched and you can really tell they use fresh ingredients. From the tea to the boba itself, everything is a step above other shops I've been to. My go to is the Jasmine green tea with grass jelly, but I do enjoy trying out their seasonal drinks that they rotate through. They do a great job of getting your order out fast, even when it's pretty packed. It's nice they have self order kiosks. I feel like it makes things flow better. The space is also very cute and cozy. Definitely a place you want to stay and have a boba date with a friend. It's always a pleasure stopping in here.
As a bubble tea queen in training, I can't believe it took me so long to review this place! All drinks aside from the speciality ones are just $5 each (speciality $5.50), which is a great value for how large these drinks are. They don't use the powdered stuff either, so you can really taste the natural flavor and my goodness will it be a mini-gasm in your mouth! Order: Vanilla Bubble Tea($5.00)- Absolutely perfection. I tasted no powders, just sweet, sweet syrup. Almost tasted like honey? Boba wasn't the wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't mushy or stale tasting. Seating: They've added more seating, so there is now a barstool seating area along the wall, along with a smaller picnic type table, a bench outside, and a few small tables to sit at. Location: The lot they're on is a little hard to turn into when it's super busy, but the location is great. It's near a Korean and a Japanese restaurant, so you can have a treat after lunch or dinner. Service: Fantastic! The male cashier with glasses was genuinely friendly. Such a cute boba shop! I ordered the thai milk tea and my bf ordered the matcha milk tea. We love this place and would definitely come back. I am not a big fan of matcha but their matcha was very good! Something about the size of the cups makes their drinks so fun to hold. The staff here are so friendly and nice as well. read more

This place is awesome. Super unique boba spot. They use fresh ingredients (like the pic -- there's fresh strawberry puree in it) and have some really cool flavor combos that I haven't seen before. Plus, the cups are cool. which doesn't sound like a big deal but adds a little splash to the fun of it. Service is super fast and for the introverts out there, you order at a kiosk yourself. read more

This was the perfect quencher I needed driving through Beaverton on a blustery day, and now that I'm in quarantine I'm reflecting on the simple pleasures of just being able to drive by and grab Bubble tea. I was super happy that they had every substitute known to man. I'm lactose intolerant and so I CANNOT have dairy but I love me some Milk tea haha! These guys accommodated me with a smile:). read more

My personal favorite in the Portland region. With all the new spots popping up and options, Bubble N Tea definitely brings up the standard. Delicious quality tea and smoothie options with a minimal aesthetic. Personal favorites are the thai tea, matcha, and jasmine. I'm not a huge sweets person so 50% sweetness is perfect for me but I recommend you start at 75%. If you never changed your sweetness before, just go for the normal 100% or don't say anything since that's standard diabeetus sweetness you typically get. Their season flavors are epic and worth trying too! My friend loved her lychee thai tea and has been on the lookout for when it comes back on the menu. The boba here is made to perfection with a chewiness that achieves enlightenment. I would say a competitor to their model and drink offerings is tea bar. So if you like tea bar and you happen to be in Beaverton, I'm sure you'll like Bubble N Tea. Drinks cost roughly $5 with boba. Thanks for existing! read more
I live in the Bay Area, where you can find boba tea at every corner. This boba tea place is up to par with the Bay Area boba shops! The ambience was nice with very simple decor that wasn't overwhelming. The Thai tea had condensed milk that makes it sweet and creamy. Cocoa mint milk tea - tasted like an Andes mint milk tea. We were coming home from the Hawaiian festival @ Uwajimaya last week and my wife decided to make a pit stop. We had a pretty good plate lunch while there. But while the food was tasty, and it was pretty hot so I was more than pleased when i found out that we stopping by. I decided to stick with what i knew i liked. I went with the thai tea with extra bubbles. Very tasty and satisfying, but i forgot to request lite ice..it was almost half filled with ice and kinda didn't seem like a great value. Now that being said, my kids got a very creative tea. They got the "Pink Lady" which was a cotton candy tea? with a large quaff of cotton candy on top. I will keep my opinion to myself because they thought it was the best thing ever. Always a good time for a bubble tea. read more

I have been looking for GOOD boba in Portland for the past 3 days, since I'm only here for the week and this place is it! They had good options, I got the jasmine milk tea with soy milk and 10/10 recommend. We also got the Thai tea with regular milk and 10/10 as well! Definitely coming back before I leave for California and recommend to anyone out here looking for good boba!!! I love the rustic vibes as well! SO CUTE! read more

Overall, a great place to go for boba and an "insta-worthy spot". DRINKS: Simple menu and easy to understand. They use real brewed tea, instead of powders, so the tea taste really comes through. Generally, all their teas are sweeter than most boba places, so I would recommend getting 50% sugar. Additionally, cute containers BUT inconvenient because they do not fit in my car's cup holder. - Matcha: my favorite drink here but a bit inconsistent. Unlike most boba places, they use authentic matcha powder. - Thai: way too sweet and syrup collected on the bottom leaving an unpleasant surprise - Jasmine: lighter option than the matcha and Thai tea. - Boba: fresh as is their tea STAFF: friendly PRICE: $5-6 SPACE: Parking is difficult to find and the space is quite small. Best boba spot in Beaverton! They have such unique flavors & everything is so fresh. Unlike other boba spots that use powders, Bubble N Tea uses premium loose leaf teas! It makes such a huge difference. Also- toppings and milk alts are free everything you need in your life. My top favorites are the strawberry rose milk tea (which is black tea, milk, rose flavor, and strawberry pieces), matcha, and Thai tea! I haven't had their coconut one yet but plan to. If you're in town looking for boba, this is the place! read more
Located in a small plaza - you'd probably miss it if you were driving by! Their regular teas/smoothies on their menu are only $5! Yup, love the fact that there is no sales tax in OR. They also have specials that they include on clipboards next to their menu that start at $5.50+. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their drinks! We personally love trying the Jasmine Milk Tea when we visit a new boba place. Only loose leaf teas here - no powder! Jasmine milk tea was super strong in tea flavor and you can adjust the sweetness they way you like it and pick the milk you want to use. Super cute, instagram-worthy bubble tea spot! Love that they use real loose leaf teas instead of powder, which makes a total difference. Another highlight about this place is that you can choose what kind of milk you want (whole, soy, almond, or coconut) without an additional cost. Makes it convenient to those who prefer non-dairy or are lactose intolerant. You can also customize the sweetness level from 0-100%. They have some pretty creative special flavor options as well as the classics. I ended up getting the matcha green tea w/ soy and it was amazing. The bubbles were the right consistency, soft & chewy! One of the best milk teas I've had! I have more of a sweet tooth, so if you have the same I recommend this place. I love love love the Thai creamy milk tea and it was the perfect sweetness for me. Of course you can also adjust the sugar level to your liking. They didn't have a lot of options on their menu, it was very limited and minimal but I think that's the purpose; to keep it minimal and simplistic. The wait is pretty long and there's always a line during busy hours. read more

Very refreshing beverages. I enjoyed the strawberry matcha milk tea that is under the "special drinks" tab. Also under "special drinks" tab is an ube-mango milk tea. They both are good when selecting decreased sugar because the fresh fruit gives some sweetness. I forgot the other drink I had here, but I think it was a strawberry jasmine green tea, which was good also. The people working here are very sweet. read more
I have come here a couple of times and overall this is one of my favorite places to go get Boba. Price - A little bit on the higher end, but it is either $5 or $6 with no additional cost of boba. They actually recently transitioned their smoothies to being $5 now. I was surprised, and I think it's because summer is over. Quality - If you get cold tea, the majority of the cup will be filled with ice. You can probably request for less ice though. Cold Thai Tea - Would have liked there to be less ice. Mango Smoothie with Coconut Milk - This is only during the summer. I once requested for there to be less sweetness, but it tasted absolutely the same. The roasted coconut added a nice texture to the drink. Location - It's in a corner in Cedar Hills. The parking is small, but I never had any trouble finding a spot. Service - The employees are very nice. Regardless of how busy they are, you will get your drink pretty quick. read more
Get the honey lavender milk tea, it is so refreshing and unique. You can taste the premium quality of the tea and the floral taste of the lavender, the sweetness of the honey is just right. I also appreciate the shape of the container, it is so much easier to get the boba. Love this place, you have to come and try their boba tea! read more

Best boba place in pdx and also bests all the places I've tried in NYC as well. This boba shop has a special place in my heart and I always love coming here. All the flavors are amazing! You can really taste the tea flavors in the drinks. It has the taste of good quality not to mention it's incredibly worth it for its price. I also love the way it smells in there! I ordered 1 cloud mango and 2 earl tea. Although, the cloud mango was super pretty shown in photo, but it lacked flavor. Honestly thought I was drinking water milk with mango chunks and grass jelly. The 2 earl tea were good though. read more

New bubble tea place next to JCD Korean restaurant. Small little space tucked in a tiny plaza, parking is horrible on a Friday night (because of all the patrons there for kbbq) so get there before 5PM. The boba cups are HUGE and do not fit in a car cup holder. The quality of tea used here is of high quality, I know this because I don't drink anything with caffeine but I was totally CRACKED OUT for 8hrs from one cup. The bubble tea here is ALA CART. -you can change the sweetness level frm 10-100% -you can customize with boba or jelly -pick your flavors -pick your milk type Pricing is a bit steep but you really get what you pay for! Hoping they open another location in SE PORTLAND. I got the MATCHA w/50% sweetness w/grassjelly and boba. Because it wasn't as sweet it really brought out the matcha flavors. I also got the rose strawberry milk tea which was good but I think had too much rose essencee vs strawberry. Overall this is a little gem. read more

I was excited to check this place out after so many great reviews and while I will say the customer service and vegan options are STELLAR, the main reason for my visit, the milk tea, was awful. I'm not a super sweet boba tea person so I actually prefer less sweet most of the time but I ordered this one full sweet since all places differ. The full sweet tasted like ZERO sugar - I felt like I needed to add sugar to even drink it. I asked for soy as my vegan milk alternative and what I got was a watery, flavorless (minus the soy taste) "tea." The boba itself had a great texture but there was zero taste, no love, no syrup, no flavor. It was sad. I wanted to love this place so much but I will not be back due to the completely lackluster drinks. read more

Bubble n tea is a favorite of mine, the matcha is always strong and not grainy. The cloud mango was made with butterfly pea tea, which is very light but makes the pretty blue color. It's a very milky drink, and the chunks of mango at the bottom give it a boost of flavor. These are both not on their permanent menu, although the strawberry matcha is a long term one for sure. The bubbles are sweet and chewy. Recently there have been issues with the film on top where there is a hole on the edge where it doesn't seal. Check before you shake. read more
I really don't understand the bucket cups but the tea and boba here are good. We tried the Thai iced tea and Earl Grey. Both teas were very flavorful and perfectly sweetened - we got them at 50% and 25% respectively. It's great that you can customize the sweetness and milk. There aren't a ton of options, but it's because they use real tea, not crazy flavored powders. $5 for a 25oz bucket of bubble tea made from good tea is also a pretty sweet deal. However, one thing that could definitely be improved is the process flow here - it's too slow for a place just doing iced, hot, and blended drinks. You order at the register when you walk in, but the cups are further away from the register and the mixing station is on the other side from the counter, making the staff constantly walk back and forth. It's a terrible setup, which adds a lot of time to the whole process. The bucket cups might contribute to slowing the process since they are awkward to hold and also require more plastic covering to seal the cup. It seemed like the employees were getting overwhelmed with even a pretty steady flow of customers, so for both staff and customers' sake, I would recommend to the owner that they re-evaluate their layout, especially as they get more popular. read more
TL;DR - The flavor of the actual tea comes through nicely. The drinks tend to be sweet though, so try reducing the sweetness level (I go to 25%). ____________________ DRINKS - these are some that I've had, all have been iced: -- Matcha milk tea: 25% sweet was still WAY too sweet. Maybe they use a sweetened matcha powder, if that's a thing?? Or maybe they just were heavy handed on the sugar or syrup that day. I got a good matcha flavor, but it was too sweet for my taste. -- Cocoa Mint: this was my most recent choice. Not bad, but passable. It was kind of like drinking an Andes mint, but my mouth wanted it to be more solid like food?? It felt like something was missing. 25% sweet and with soy milk - totally fine, didn't miss any sugar. -- I also want to say I've had their jasmine milk tea, but can't remember exactly...I want to say that the jasmine flavor of the tea comes through well! If anything, would go for this or the Earl Grey next time! STAFF The staff have always been friendly. They're not (all?) Asian, so that might throw some people off, but one of my friends is pretty picky and he likes this place (I'm not too particular), and then a few friends visited from SF and they were suprisingly pleased as well. SPACE/LOCATION The parking lot's kinda small, but I've been able to find parking the handful of times I've come by even though they always seem to have a good number of people inside and there are a handful of other small businesses around them. read more
The bubble tea drinks and smoothies at this store come in one size only. It is a large cup. It costs five dollars for a drink. I ordered the Milk Tea with tapioca pearls and I had the sweetness level at 50%. This drink was fabulous, with the authentic tea flavor and the bubble texture and flavor was up to my standards. My sister and brother-in-law ordered the Chocolate smoothie with coconut milk, at 50% sweetness level, and also had it with tapioca pearls. The Chocolate smoothie tasted exactly like Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's original ice blended drink, though it is a bit more expensive. In our opinion, this is the best place to frequent, in Portland, so far. We will definitely be back to enjoy Bubble N Tea, in the near future. read more
