SUPER STOKED this place opened up in Beaverton. I no longer have to go into Portland for the organic boba options. They don't use powders or artificial flavoring. A lot of boba places have this plastic after taste which really turns me off. This place does NOT have that. I usually only order half the boba but I love the boba here. It's not soft and not too hard, it's just the right consistency of chewy. I also like that the boba has a little sweetness to it too. Majority of the drinks prices range from $5-$5.50. So far I've tried... Thai milk tea and strawberry rose black milk tea both with boba. If you're lactose I suggest asking for an alternative milk if possible or make sure you're near a bathroom. They have specialty flavors that change monthly and a loyalty punch card(you have to ask for this... don't forget)! Pretty good stuff. You can actually call it tea and you can taste the freshness. You can't mix flavors, sad, but all the flavors sound good. Including the specials. This place was recommended from my buddy and I got the coco mint with boba, my girl got the mango, brother got the matcha green tea strawberry latte and my buddy got the strawberry with black rose tea? They were all pretty good. Mine tasted how it sounds. Chocolate mint. It took some time to get use to, but overall was good. It was light, sweet, yet refreshing.. I have to be honest about the fact that I laughed at "handcrafted boba tea"... until I went there and experienced what Bubble N Tea is all about. First of all, the tea is the best I've ever had. It truly does taste FRESH. And the boba is super soft Secondly, even though Bubble N Tea is super hip, they truly are a neighborhood place. You feel totally welcomed and at home here. Not bad, but maybe it's because of what I ordered. Whenever I try out a new boba spot I always go for a classic before I go for the speciality drinks. I'm pretty indecisive and was in between several different classic milk teas, but ultimately chose an Earl Grey Milk Tea with boba and oat milk. The boba wasn't very sweet like some of the places back in SoCal do it and the tea flavor wasn't very strong. I forgot to order less ice, so it got watered down very quickly. My friend ordered a Coconut Slush with boba which tasted very similar to Honey Nut Cheerios; it was pretty good, we both enjoyed it a lot. Upon reading the menu, I am intrigued by their speciality drinks and will likely make a return as I would really like to give this place another chance. I also like the containers they put the drinks it, never seen anyone do it like that before which was pretty cool. I appreciate the kiosks they have to order, very convenient and informative (descriptions for each drink on the menu). Omg, this place is amazing. All teas are made with real tea leaves, and the flavors they offer are phenomenal. So far, I tried the Thai tea (with the cute coconut ice cream birds) and coconut smoothie. Both are AMAZING - especially the coconut smoothie. I did NOT expect it to be THAT good. I love their Matcha green tea and they have some super tasty seasonal drinks as well such as the strawberry cotton candy one, which tastes like strawberry milk, and the butterfly pea lemonade, which is a purplish strawberry lemonade. However, they get very busy on warmer days with the line out the door and rush you a bit to order. So if you are wanting to ask questions about a new drink go during cooler months when it's not so crazy busy. This place is super cute! Very cute decor and reminds me a lot of the small dessert places in Portland and in SoCal. The cups are very cute too. However, the prices are pretty pricey for milk tea. Everything is $5 or $5.50. Usually boba tea is around $3/3.50 depending on size or smoothie type can increase to $5. I got the earl grey milk tea with grass jelly which I would have thought would have tasted better but it was pretty sweet. Such a cute place! I like the decor on the inside, its a bit of a shame that the shopping center its in looks like a little dump across from Cedar Hills Crossing. As for the drinks, its pretty good. I like that the tea is real loose leaf tea - no powder! The taste of the classic milk tea was really good. Another plus is the ability to customize the sweetness level. 100% is definitely too sweet, because I got 75% and it was pretty sweet. Also, $5+ is pricey. Having had boba all over Taiwan, where it was invented, I think my opinion stands when I say Bubble N Tea has the smoothest tea in the area. With the crazy explosion of bubble tea places in the past 5 years, this place still holds its ground, bring people in with their aesthetic and their drinks. Made with leaves, their tea never leaves the unpleasant residue rings of powder in their cups, and that feeling enough just rests my heart. Always the perfect pick-me-up! I consider myself a huge boba snob because my hometown has at least two boba shops on every corner. Lots to try and compare. That being said, I really enjoyed the milk tea here. Jasmine milk tea, matcha milk tea, and the matcha with strawberry were all very good. The matcha needs to be stirred/shaken very well though because I notice sometimes it will feel a bit powdery/chalky. Texture of the boba was not my favorite, and I know it's honey boba, but it really tastes like a spoonful of honey when you bite into the boba. Very different compared to the other honey boba I've tried elsewhere. The cups are huge, so don't expect them to fit in your car's cupholder! The location and atmosphere are also great, and drinks are served very quickly. read more

I heard that BNT is the best place in Portland to get boba/tea. If this is true, then I wholeheartedly feel bad for the citizens of Portland because this place's tea is pretty gross. I like to stick to the very basic drinks when I visit new places to gauge their quality. I ordered a jasmine milk tea. I didn't realize there were different levels of sweetness and forgot to ask, but the cashier also didn't ask me if full sweetness was ok, or notify me that their drinks were on the highest spectrum of sweet. I was really excited to have some tea, but was really disappointed once I took my first sip. It was sOoOOoO sweet. Normally, I would feel guilty asking the barista to fix my drink, but I had to or else I would've tossed it right then and there. So I did, and the cashier was really friendly about it, but the lady (probably the owner or part of management of some sort) muttered, "we have to make a new drink". We told them that they didn't need to make a new one, just dilute it somehow. The lady begrudgingly agreed to let the cashier fix our drink. Judging from the previous reviews, this has happened before. We tried our drink again at 50% sweetness and it was really bland. There was barely any tea flavor, and still pretty sweet. This is a great business, they always have excellent quality bubble tea and customer service. They have a pretty big selection of drinks and some really tasty and interesting special flavors like the pink lady cotton candy bubble tea and caramel popcorn drink. I personally appreciate that their bubbles are both soft and sweet because when they're not it kinda ruins the whole deal. In my experience, it's super difficult to find both. Each drink order takes about five minutes or less and out of all the times I've been (which is a lot considering I live right next door) they've never messed up a single order. It's about five dollars per drink which in my opinion is a little bit on the pricey side. Honestly, it's totally worth it if you're willing to spend the money, especially since you can't find the kind of stuff they sell anywhere else. I do have to complain a little about the location, it's right off busy Cedar Hills Boulevard and the parking lot is cramped and not ideal for people who have trouble with parking very close to others. The atmosphere inside the place is way better than you would think by looking at the surrounding businesses. They have super pretty lighting and a real classy feel, good place for a casual date or study session. I've suggested this place to a few people and they all agree that it's a solid joint. We live in San Jose, CA where there is abundance of boba tea shops. This one is definitely better than most down here. When we visit Portland we always make an effort to come here 3-4x during our stay. That's prob 1x day or 2x if we can :) You can actually taste the tea and its aroma, that's how you know it's freshly brewed. Also the boba is perfect texture, exact sweetness and chewiness. The best part, they allow you to adjust your sugar level which we are very used to having that option in SJ. We've tried a few boba shops/cafes in Portland and it doesn't compare since others taste premade brewed milk teas, powder flavors, or boba/pearls have sat out too long due to slow biz. Either way, this place is a must stop by for us and we always enjoy coming here. It has enough space to hang out but it gets super crowded.
