New Japanese restaurant/ bubble tea spot in Bellmore didn't quite hit the mark. First off, the narrow, cramped space makes it ideal for take out. Ordered taro bubble tea and it was terrific as was the mango. The sushi, however, was lacking. Though the fish is fresh, the rice has no trace of vinegar and they use the lighter colored seaweed which makes it blah. The eel sushi though was delicious. Tried the miso soy ramen with chicken next which was the biggest let down. Broth was bland as was the chicken. The scallions in the broth helped a little but not enough. Service is very friendly and prices pretty cheap for the amount they give you. I wouldn't come back here to eat again but definitely have their awesome bubble tea. read more

Bf and I was waiting for our table in another restaurant and as we were walking around the area, I saw Asian goodies and so I suggested we go in...so we did. The Asian goodies was a little pricey but considering the fact you don't find many of these places in Long Island, I guess it made sense. They also offered bubble tea and so we ordered some. Bf bought original and I bought lychee. The original tasted a bit like coffee. Lychee didn't taste like lychee but I love the sweet flavor. I'm used to grabbing a great bubble tea in Queens for approximately $3-$5, while this was priced around the $5-$9! I love my bubble tea. Being from the west coast, I do consider myself a bit of a connoisseur...or at least a really big fan. When I moved to Manhattan, I spent a very long time exploring Chinatown and Flushing trying different bubble tea spots and eventually found one that was closest to what I was used to. And then I moved to Long Island where the bubble tea experience is pathetically dry. And then I came across Bubble Hut. The menu isn't as varied as some of the other places I used to frequent, but what they do have is pretty good. My go-to drink is the classic milk tea, which is a little on the sweet side here, but I hear you can customize the sweetness. Overall, the best I've had outside of NYC so far! read more

Got a seafood ramen or Monster on the menu. Almost $20. Came with very tiny shrimp tempura. Seafood ramen broth is ok. And only 2 tiny piece of salmon, 2 half fake crab meat, one shrimp in it. To me, its a bit pricey. read more

Gotta appreciate this place as the only ramen & bubble tea place I could find on LI. Unfortunately their ramen isn't quite as good as what I've had in NYC, but not bad either. I can't speak to the sushi since I haven't had it here yet. The dessert and snacks are really what you come here for. Bubble tea is in fact as good at NYC bubble tea, with lots of different options to choose from, and you can't turn down all of the interesting and tasty Japanese snacks they have. Bubble Hut is great! I grew up in Flushing and miss my bubble tea. Every now and again I will get some when I'm visiting family, but no need to wait anymore! Bubble Hut's passion fruit tea with tapioca is as good as any I've had anywhere, and their food is good too. I got the chicken ramen with miso based soup. It was fast and hot. The chicken is flavorful and the broth is tasty. I plan on making it a staple in my lunch repertoire. Especially with the bubble tea card, buy 8 and get one free! read more

Just had the Miso Soup= Outstanding, Beef Teriyaki over rice = Amazing, Shrimp Teriyaki with Salmon over rice = Fantastic ,Udon and Ramen dishes = Pure Yummy and Pink Berry Shaved Ice = Refreshingly Delicious Dessert. The Bubble tea is great here and I love that you can mix flavors. I wasn't really living for the udon noodles I got. The place is quaint and the food looks great but, there isn't really much flavor in the soup I got. The vegetables were also kind of under cooked. I've gone to bubble hut a couple of times, and I've never been disappointed! I've tried the ramen and some of the sushi rolls, I'd recommend the shrimp tempura roll if you're not into sushi with uncooked fish. As far as the bubble tea goes, this place has become one of my favorite spots for bubble tea. The bubbles are always the right consistency not too chewy and not hard or undercooked, they're also sweet. Picked up a quick lunch for my wife and I, we wanted to try the ramen and their sushi, my wife tried their bubble tea. I was torn between giving this place three stars or four and here's why. If you're viewing Bubble Hut as a japanese takeout restaurant their two or three stars, the food is pretty average, and I imagine a lot of people will be put off by the lack of sweetness in their sushi rice (which I personally liked). I have most definitely have had better experiences going for bubble tea before because we waited 11 minutes for our drinks and we were the only ones in the place for a few minutes. Then two other people walked in and the man behind the counter who was already moving things around and trying to get the drinks together stopped what he was doing to take the order. Now granted, I totally get customer service so I would always address patrons as they come in but you were already doing something. It was about 7 minutes before our drinks were actually started to be made and I kept wondering why it was taking so long meanwhile there was another person who worked there walking back and forth from the back of the store. Annoying. I had the lychee bubble tea with yogurt boba balls and while it was okay, I have certainly had better. I also need to mention that generally speaking, I have never had a bubble tea in my life with ice so in a few sips it was done and it was difficult to suck up all the balls ( I know how that sounds BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN ) hahahaha. I will stick to the locations I go to in Brooklyn because they are simply better. read more

I would easily give it four stars for the great bubble tea, but coming here for lunch the food was average. The fish used in their sushi is very fresh, but just lacked some touches. I was intrigued by the concept of bubble tea, and wanted to give it a shot. I asked what a popular tea choice was (taro...the taste reminded me of a green tea frapp from Starbucks), and what the popular add-in was (tapioca pearls). It was delicious! I couldn't drink it all the time because it's very sweet, but I can see why bubble tea is popular. I also had the grilled chicken ramen. It was also delicious, and the portion was huge! I've been going to this place since it opened and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The owner/manager is super sweet and the bubble teas are yummy. My favorites are coconut and almond with tapioca or taro. In the winter you can get it warm which is even more amazing. I've had California rolls there with my daughter and they are always freshly made while you wait...deliscious!
