So I was feeling a boba drink and found this place open near my house. I ordered my drink (guava tea with strawberry popping pearls). Service was fine. No one was at the front when I walked in, and the guy in front of me waited a while for his popcorn chicken. So once I got up and ordered I sat down and waited about 5 minutes for my drink. It was brought up to the front but not announced so I had to go up and ask if that drink was mine. You can see the size of the drink. This is their large (a reg at other places I've been). You can see it isn't even the size of a normal boba straw. A large is only 50¢ more than their regular. As for the drink itself, it was mid honestly. I've had better and I've had worse. If you are shopping nearby this isn't a bad choice. But I would not go out of my way to come here. Their hours are nice as well.

After letting my thoughts of Bubble Cups steep, Im ready for my review! This review might be biased because I actually won a toy from their claw machine in the back--something that has never happened to me before. I'm basically a claw machine legend now, so brew that into your thoughts as you read on... Bubble Cups was a boba-licious find for me. For years, I've been on a quest for the perfect boba spot, but all I found were places that were just... meh-verage. You know, the kind of boba that makes you go, "Eh, it's tapioca, I guess." But then, like a tea leaf prophecy, I stumbled upon Bubble Cups! I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was the game corner. It was calling to me like a siren song, but I had to boba-line it to the counter first. The cashier was as sweet as honey boba and super helpful--no bitter attitudes here! I can't remember how long the wait was because I got lost in the games. But before I knew it, my drinks were ready, and I was walking out with my boba and a prize like I had just won the boba lottery. SO glad we tried this spot out! My kids and I have been on the hunt for Almond milk tea and this place cured our craving as it hit the spot and was def YUMMERZ!! Cute shop with great music and a fun lil claw machine which my daughter did one a lil dragon and free old skool arcade machine that my son was playing on also there are few card games avail for peeps to play and photog spot for all your selfies Friendly & fast service, this will def be one of spots we will be frequenting!!

I can't believe my favorite boba place is closing! I love going here for many years. I'll be sure to be there on christmas! Got to support my favorite place :(

Let me start by saying the people who waited on us were so very pleasant and nice. The milk tea with boba is pretty solid. It's fairly sweet with a nice chew. Did I mention the people working here are very sweet? That's why the next part is sad to have to write The Taiyaki (fish cones, for the ign'ant) was kind of a let down. They're more like pancakes than waffles. Remember that Office episode where the Michael Scott Paper Company had their rectangle pancake breakfast to solicit new clients? Even Creed didn't want them... well these aren't that bad, but they're not as good as the fish waffle cones at Snowtime. And mine came out ten minutes after my wife's did. The plus is that they use scoops vs soft serve. The people are great, the boba is good, but I'm going to have to pass on the Taiyaki

This boba shop has some diverse flavor offerings and toppings. Any place that has the sea salt cheese foam gets extra credit from me :). I ended up going with the mango fresh tea with cheese foam and boba. I also got a taro slush with boba. Both drinks tasted great and the taro was one of the better versions we've had in terms of not being too sweet. I liked their cup sizes and the cute designs on the lids. I don't live near this location but if I were in the area again, I'd stop by for sure.

This is a tough one because the ice cream fish cup was pretty tasty but it took like half an hour. When we ordered the cashier told us she didn't know if they could make it because the owner was the only one who knew how. Luckily the owner walked in and said she could make it but it would take 25 minutes. I wish that they'd had the matcha ice cream listed on the menu but they only had two of the four flavors and they weren't soft serve. Like I said, not bad but not perfect.

I LOVEEEE coming here my families been coming here for a few years and I'm so obsessed with everything they have. 10/10 but just came to comment bc i heard a lady asking questions being a bit rude to staff than took photos so if there's any newer review the staff was being polite and nice answering her questions no attitude or anything they're super pretty and kind.

Hands down the best boba in the Phoenix/Glendale area. Mango Rabbit can compete but not beat, but who wants to drive to Tempe! Cute little shop with games to play, and the owner and her employees are so friendly!

This tea spot is okay. The inside is clean, but felt dated and a bit cluttered (claw game machine, random tea posters, etc.). The tea and boba was about average, not the worst we'd had, but no where near the best. The young lady who assisted us was polite and helpful. There was a little trouble trying to get access to the wifi since they keep it super secret and the log-in is a bit complicated. Once we were on it didn't work very well, so we ended up leaving and going to a Starbucks.

I went there on a Monday at 6:30pm and the wait was not too long. The place was cute and colorful, with a lot of options to choose from. I ordered the house special, which was a milk tea with boba and pudding. It was delicious and refreshing, with a smooth texture and a sweet taste. The boba and pudding were soft and chewy. The price was reasonable for the size and quality. I would definitely come back to this place and try more of their drinks. However, if you are looking for a strong tea flavor, you might want to go somewhere else. Their other drinks are ok, but not as good as their house special. Their house special and taro house special are always my go-to drinks. I would give this place a 4 out of 5 stars.

My friends and I came in here hoping to get the taiyaki ice cream that they heavily advertise on their signs and website. We asked for this product and said they did not have it. If they do not have a product they should not be advertising it as heavily as they do. We ended up ordering a couple milk teas and shaved iced. Not what we expected at all. read more

I had a good first experience here so I decided to go again today. It look them 30 minutes to make the popcorn chicken I ordered. The employees would disappear to the back and were not present. When things were taking to long I yelled "hello" and got no response. After today I will not be going back again because the service was so poor. There are other boba places around you can go to. read more

This is the closest tea location to my home, and I'm happy to share that it's pretty good! It's usually not busy and the staff are always friendly and welcoming to us. Every time my boyfriend and I come here, we always want to try something new to expand our variety of choices to choose from when we have different cravings. Average pricing and great parking. This place has great boba teas and a really large customizable menu. The boba smoothies are great for the hot AZ days. I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie and my wife got Taro! This used to be yo and I and now there is a new owner. The drinks are still awesomely delicious and the owner is very nice. They also have snacks now like popcorn chicken. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee for $3.99 and it did not disappoint me. I also got the raspberry macaroon and it was tasty! The best I have ever had. Definitely will be back. Bubble Cups is now one of all time favorite boba shops. They have a tremendous amount of drink options, as well as little snack foods! The cashier was very helpful and didn't show any sign of frustration answering my endless array of questions. I got the French Vanilla latte 50% sweet and my girlfriend got the Thai smoothie with boba balls. Both wonderful drinks, i'll definitely come back! read more

I love this place! My mom, boyfriend and occasionally boyfriend's siblings come here a lot. I have no drink suggestion because all of them are so good! Took my kids in for boba treat and was immediately met with songs with explicit lyrics. Seriously, was in for 20 seconds and heard "f" and "p" several times. Second time I have tried to take my kids there and they apparently don't care if small children hear adult songs. Left immediately that time. read more

I came here without any expectations just because there arent alot of good boba places around here but i ordered a green tea smoothie with boba and first of all the boba balls were really soft and chewy and the green tea smoothie was cold, full of flavor and perfect for the summer. The cup had really cute animations on them which made me really happy LOL and i would definitely come back whenever i want boba update: their snow fluff is hella good too read more

I am from California and back at home there's a boba shop literally on every block. So when I came to Arizona I missed having my milk tea. To be honest this place is only alright. I got their earl grey milk tea and it was decent. There wasn't anything particularly special about it. The service is good though and the workers are nice. read more

I come here for all of my boba drink cravings. There aren't too many options in the Glendale/Peoria area when I'm craving boba so I'm glad Bubble Cups is around. The ladies working are always so kind and friendly. There are games to play in the sitting area and their snow option is also delicious! I've never had 'snow' before until I tried it here and it was different than the shaved ice My go to here is always the Thai tea with boba, on ice or blended. read more

I ordered taro bubble tea, shrimp, and pandan waffle yesterday and ended up waiting 45m when they said it would be 20m. It was not even busy when I walked in. The bubble was okay it was lukewarm and had like 2 ice cubes in it. The pandan waffle ended up taking the longest and was not even good it was dry, I gave it to my kids because kids never pass up anything covered in chocolate but they did not even want it and my son found EGGSHELLS in it. I posted these pictures on google review. Anyway staff seemed friendly and I liked that they have boardgames but maybe I came on a bad day most likely will not be back. read more

Boba is pretty good, pretty consistently soft and chewy. I got their hot boba milk tea and it's a nice way to warm up on a cold night. I've also tried their iced jasmine milk tea and iced oolong milk tea with boba- pretty good flavors. They also recently installed arcade games that you can play for free! (Like Rampage and Joust). Have yet to try their food and their desserts, like the pandan waffle. read more

I love going to this place! It's formerly Yo and I, but the transition to the new owners have been smooth and you get the same great products. The service is also very fast and friendly. I had just started to play some Jenga with four other friends, by the time we all took our 3rd turn, the boba drinks were already delivered to our table. One differentiates this place from other boba locations is the personal touch the workers here give, the cleanliness, family friendly, and of course the boba itself. The pros: - Excellent variety - Games (Uno and Jenga) - Tastes great! The cons: - A bit pricey compared to some other places in the valley (but not outrageous) Really the best part of coming here will be the friends you bring with you. Great boba with a lot of add in options. Good place to sit and chat too. The owners will do their own thing in the back most of the time there's not a customer at the counter which I love because it gives you a chance to enjoy some tea with friends in relative privacy. Never too busy read more

Good boba drinks, but be prepared to pay extra if you finally get a free drink stamp because apparently it's only $3.50 worth (then that's not free!!!) smh. I'm not going to argue $2 but to me free drink means free. They also won't fix or replace your drink if it's wrong or doesn't taste right. read more

Lately my obsession with bubble tea has returned from the depths of my mind. In Chicago, I got bubble tea literally every few days. Now that I'm an *adult* my bubble tea obsession has calmed down. Or so I thought... My sister ordered Bubble Cups on Grubhub one day and was adamant that I try the "House" special with the grass jelly and boba. I reluctantly told her to go ahead and order me one. Wowwww I'm so glad she did because now I am obsessed with this. If my bubble tea isn't made of brown sugar honey and tea just this way I don't want it. I'm giving this place a 5-star review because of my order last night. I ordered on Grubhub and my drink took a lot longer than usual. When my driver came and dropped off my drink, I was so sad to see it was the wrong one! I called Grubhub and they refunded my drink. Then I called Bubble Cups and told them what happened. I wish I knew the employee's name because she patiently listened to me explain what happened and what I originally wanted. She knew exactly what I was talking about and made sure my order was correct the second time around. It got here quicker than the first one and I was so happy! Love this place and can't wait to get my bubble tea again. read more

The boba is delicious and they give a generous amount. They have unique flavors you may not find elsewhere. I drive 35 minutes just to get their boba because they're the best in the west valley. The boba is California level. I've been here numerous times and Have not had a bad experience yet. read more

The boba, however, was smaller than average in size, which may have affected the overall chewiness and texture. The outside was soft and sweet, while the inside had a slightly starchy texture. I'm not sure if this experience was because we came close to closing time, but that was really my only complaint. This visit, we didn't order the pho, although it seemed very popular among other customers in the shop. The aroma of the broth filled the restaurant and honestly smelled really good and tempting throughout our visit. Overall, I'd return to give the boba another try and possibly try the pho next time as well.

I don't hand out 5 stars unless something rocks my world. That being said this place is REALLY GOOD! I'm new to boba (I know) and didn't know if I'd like it but decided to try it in Vegas and SURPRISE it was good so after returning to Phoenix I started hitting up Boba places..... I've tried 3 different tea drinks here and they have all been delicious! I like that I can customize the sweetness. I've had green tea with fresh fruit pieces and without.
