Ordered online and came to pick up. Watching people coming in ordering & getting their drinks and ours still not coming up. Ask the person making drinks-goes to the machine and sees our order and says something like be patient-they're still coming then i get a text pushing my order out 15 minutes. My son loves boba and I thought I'd surprise him after dinner. We ordered and then they let us know they were out of boba after we paid. It got super confusing and ended in them arguing they had told us before we ordered that they were out of Boba. The lady was super rude and honestly the whole thing was awful. My poor son was super bummed out and started crying. The staff didn't seem to care at all, and during the middle of everything informed us they were closed. While I get wanting to close on time they have to understand we had no clue what time they closed. Just feels like a company that doesn't care about their customers with staff that's completely disconnected and doesn't care either. Really a shame. read more

My wife and I love this place for a boba tea. She gets the Taro milk tea. Its fun and social. A really good time!

*******From 5 stars to 1 star!!!******* We visit this location all the time and we are in shock that this company would allow their store to have no air conditioning. When we went to go get a drink it was so hot in the store and the poor employees were sweating. Why would you not shut the doors until this is fixed but yet you allow money first instead of putting your employees first. To me this is a disgusting way to run your business. Not only are you putting your employees health at risk but anyone that comes in is standing in 90° or more temperatures! If you're looking for a cool place to cool off and grab a cold drink this location is a no go. Avoid at all cost. Decided to give Bubble Bee a try and it was AWESOME!!!! Super hip environment and the staff was so awesome and answered any questions we had. Rylee helped us out and she was top notch! She explained everything to us and we all found our perfect drink. I'm starting to wonder why it seems places can't have unique or cute branding AND an amazing product... Bubble Bee was pretty average in my opinion. With so many boba options in the valley this one doesn't stand out to me. The bee theme is cute. The shop itself is nice and they have a wide selection of beverages, both cold and hot. However, when we arrived most tables had some trash on them or hadn't been wiped down. It wasn't super busy either, it was us and a couple of other people in the shop, no long lines or anything. The girls working weren't exactly rude but weren't friendly either. We tried The Original (brown sugar, creamer, golden tea, honey boba) light on the sugar and Craving (passion fruit, strawberry, peach, white tea) with strawberry jelly instead of the poppers and passion fruit jelly. The original was okay, they did well with it not being too sweet but the boba was kind of hard. The Craving was way too sweet, like overkill flavoring, and the jellies were hard too. For the price I know I could get better boba at other places, so I'm not sure I'll be running back to Bubble Bee. If you're walking around though its convenient and does the trick. Just maybe ask them to go easy on the sweeteners. read more

Very disappointed. For a total of $9, I would expect a few more poppers. The staff was extremely cheap, even though I was charged an additional fee for the poppers. Looking at pictures from the site, it looks like it's supposed to come with more, and when I brought this to her attention, she gave me a condescending smile and told me it's actually less than you would think. We use to drive e from North Scottsdale to the location in San Tan Village Shopping Center which is close to 40 miles, were happy when they opened another store at The Mills which made it a even more close and are estatic to have this location 5 minutes from our house. The Original is very good and with the honey boba is nice and sweet. I am especially love the Cali Girl which is a Strawberry Slushie with watermelon poppers. Been wanted to try out a bubble bee location for a while now and finally got the opportunity since it's much closer to where I live. Got the Queen Taro - coconut and taro. And it was very underwhelming. Taro is usually my favorite flavor and this was just subpar, so quite disappointed. The boba was good tho. Small location but cute. It's a cute and hipster boba joint located conveniently in Scottsdale Quarter... BUT being the boba snob that I am, their drinks did not live up to my standards. I've tried this place in person and have ordered delivery. The first time in person I ordered a The Original - Organic Honey Boba Tea. It was not the best I've had but it wasn't terrible. The second time by delivery, I gave this place another chance to redeem itself by ordering something different (fruity drinks) and it was even worse! I just can't justify blowing $6-7 on something I don't absolutely love and can get somewhere else for cheaper. I will not be coming back here and don't recommend it to anyone. read more

Alright, I am done wasting my money here. Sure, I am a milk tea snob coming from Cali and NYC BUT is it really that hard to mess up a simple classic milk tea? They have raised prices since their opening at Kierland and the quality of teas has fallen drastically. First few visits, teas were great, but the last few times have been a constant watered down tea mixture of some sort. Because this is one of the few boba places around us, I continued to visit. I thought to myself, maybe the boba barista is just having an off day, but the next 3 times I have visited, it's been just as terrible. Im just upset that i got two drinks and mine wasnt all the way full. The employee knew it wasnt full too and added seltzer to the bits left in the blender, swirled it around and then added it to my cup. Only for it to still not be full. This place is okay but way overpriced. I got the peachy lychee drink over ice while my sister ordered the PM blended. Mine cost $6 while my sister's was $7. We thought that they'd be in the larger cups since they were quite expensive but they were in really small cups that we finished in like 10 minutes. Although the drinks are refreshing for a hot day, they're also way too sweet (and there was also way too much ice in mine). Bubble Bee has been one of my favorite boba places in the valley! with 3 locations so far, this is the newest. I love their branding, little honeycombs everywhere, their straws have their name and all over their cups. With fun honeycomb decor in the background and LED honeycombs, you feel like you are transported to somewhere completely different than AZ. This place is small but there are still enough seats to sit and relax to enjoy your drink. My favorite is the King Taro but they have a ton of flavors. Every drink is customizable so if you have a friend who is caffeine free, they can accommodate them. I got my king taro with panda style boba and I loved the honey boba, it was light and flavorful! My friends tried some of the more summery drinks like Cali girl and the mango. All of them were really tasty! Great spot in the scottsdale quarter. Parking can be tricky so if you don't see any street parking available there is a parking garage right around the corner. Keep being amazing bubble bee, because the boba rocks! read more

It was my first time here, the place was clean, and they were very friendly. She suggesting things for my likes and tastes as well as let me know i can change things about the drinks. I got a Cali Girl with Guava and it was well made and delicious. The girls also asked me how i liked the deink afterwards to make sure it waWould definitely come again! And Yes! You can tell they are trying to be different, but the inconvenience of the cup out weighed the cuteness. The boba is pretty good, I've been twice and had two different experiences and drinks First I had the Thai tea w extra boba, which the drink itself was satisfactory, the boba itself doesn't taste fully cooked but it was still yummy, the customer service rubbed me the wrong way, when asking for confirmation if it was extra boba(it was a very low amount for something I paid extra for) the girl working had a very short and passive tone with me and just said yes. I next got the peach oolong tea with extra boba and it seemed to have more boba this time(surprise) and it was definitely something I would repurchase again.
