I was grabbing lunch with some friends in the area recently and we decided to stop by and grab a drink afterwards. After looking over the menu, we ordered a Sweetheart, Pomegranate Paradise, and a Taro Queen. We each tried a sip of each other's drinks and safe to say my favorite was the Sweetheart. It was surprisingly not too sweet for my tastebuds, and it wasn't overly creamy to the point where I felt unwell afterwards, as I sometimes have this problem with some drinks. We went a little bit after two o'clock and there were no other customers, so we were able to take our time in deciding without feeling rushed. The service was patient, fast and friendly. The store isn't that big, so seating options are limited. For a boba shop in this area, I would say it's pretty solid. Their flavors are unconventional to most boba shops so it's a nice change. The only thing is, we didn't see an option to customize the sweetness level to our preferences. read more

I have been going here for five years now since I moved to Scottsdale and I always get the exact same thing the original fat cup with Boba.... I feel terrible writing a negative review but this continuously happens when I order my drink... The original is basically oolong tea mixed with creamer. The way bumblebee makes it is that they blend together the problem with that is depending on who makes it , it ends up turning into a cappuccino with tremendous amount of foam . unfortunately ordering a large drink doesn't really give you the amount of tea because a quarter of the drink is foam. see the picture read more

By far the absolute BEST boba and bubble tea! The drinks always customizable, so never forget your jelly, boba and fruit poppers. The blended drinks are thirst quenching and delicious, and the creamy and coffee drinks are great, too. While a little pricey, the "fat cup" is always worth the price and upgrade. The people working are always patient and helpful and the store is always clean. If I could get one drink every day, this would be it! read more

This is such a cute spot. They have a wide variety of drinks, a lot of combinations that I've never heard of and different toppings and things that I don't believe I've ever seen before. For example, I've never gone anywhere where they have yogurt poppers. Essentially they taste like Japanese yogurt, but in a popping Boba sort of consistency. They are slightly sweet and inside the chart. One of the drinks that I ordered was called the Papa guava. It is a combination of strawberry guava, organic green tea, strawberry jelly and yogurt poppers. My little one ended up getting what is called the cloud nine. It has organic honey Boba on top, but the flavor consist of coconut, peach, vanilla, bean, guava, and organic white tea. That sounds amazing if you ask me. My husband had a mocha Chino, which is French coffee with Kona, mocha creamer, organic, honey, Boba and coffee jelly. They have so many different drink choices. Some of them are blended. Some of them are blended and creamy. Some of them are creamy drinks over ice others are sparkling drinks and 0 cal drinks even. They do offer hot drinks, maybe about eight of them you can pick your tea the level of sweetness, the different kinds of sweetener or creamer. One of the other drinks that looked really interesting was the strawberry Horchata or the Thai tea float. I was interested initially in the Cali girl 2.0, but that appears to be a very involved drink, one that I don't think I'm quite ready for. It has ice cream on top and of other things. It looks extremely duck in. But anyway, three drinks was about $20. Not bad. I love the bumblebee motif and themed that they have throughout the store. They even have a cute wall where you can take a picture. The wall says sweet as honey. I definitely recommend this place. read more

One of my coworkers at the Cava across the street (come visit us) ordered me a drink called a Vanillaccino and it was amazing! I am not usually boba fan nor do I get boba x coffee, but I actually really enjoyed it. Went in for a second drink during a double shift and spoke to Audrey, who was kind and welcoming :). Cute little boba shop! They've got a great location in the Scottsdale Quarter. Their menu is extensive. They have so many options and you can customize practically anything on their menu. I went with the Papa Guava and it was really refreshing. I wasn't a huge fan of the popping boba, wish I would've swapped that out. Bubble Bee is a purely boba ice tea place that has a long list of blended/over ice type of drinks. There's two sizes and it's only a 40 cent increase to get the bigger size. Unlike other places, each of the drinks comes with its own specific boba set and I imagine you'd have to pay extra to change it or add to it since they got a list of all their boba offerings. Their large fat cups go for $7-7.40. I tried a few drinks and I can say that the taste and the quality of the boba is average. There isn't much flavor to their drinks. Note that there's just 16 indoor seats so if it gets busy, you'll just have to order to-go. read more

I've been going to Bubble Bee (scottsdale location) since it first opened and I ADORE this place!!! Coming from CA boba has been a part of my life from a super young age and Bubble Bee is everything I love in a boba drink plus some. They have a wide variety of specialty flavors and blends and the best part is most everything is ORGANIC! Hell yeah! The King and Queen Taros are my absolute favorites. Super creamy and I also love that their drinks don't have that air freshener type artificial taste cause ewww. One thing I will say is i've noticed in the summertime when its an ungodly temperature they always have the doors open and I asked one time only to be told there's no A/C which is criminal considering their employees have to work in that condition as well as customers coming in when its like 90 inside and everyone is already on the verge of heat induced rage. There were also a few times where my drinks were super watery when I asked for honey and they clearly didnt put any in. These are the only reasons I wouldn't give a 5 star rating but overall Bubble Bee will always be a go-to and I'll continue to get others addicted to their delicious healthier boba drinks read more

So far I've had the SouthBeach and Love Story thanks to Sophia. Small clean place to escape the heat. Great variety of flavors with creative names. This time around we tried three drinks in total including the Charming, Big Bang and the Spring Break. Sweet but also very tasty drinks and the popping boba was nice to have inside the drinks as well. Our server Hillary and she was nice! Would definitely come back during the summer when walking around since the drinks are nice and big! Love this cute little Boba tea shop. Greeted as soon as we walked in, gals went over the menu on highlight selections, and the items we ordered were super refreshing and quenched our thirst on this hot summer afternoon. Only down side is the location gets super busy, seating area is small and parking is no fun. We may have to walk a distance. Plus side the parking garage is free. So, yes this place is totally "instagrammable", but their teas are also really good. What I like about them is they have so many options. From fruit teas, to milk teas, blended teas, and carbonated teas - whatever you are in the mood for you can find. I love fruit teas with added fruit and popping boba. My favorite might be Mango Popper with peach jelly. Another fun one is Craving: Strawberry popper / passionfruit. Can't go wrong with a Original Organic honey boba. Yes, the cups are a strange size and don't fit in my cup holders, but I also tend to drink them fast, so no worries! read more

Been a few times and always a fan. Ordered two different bubble teas to go, the High Thai and First Date. My High Thai was made great, however the First Date came out in the wrong size. I had ordered both as Fat Cups, but I guess the girl taking my order marked one as the smaller size (to be honest she was on her phone texting while taking my order). During my first visit to Arizona, I decided to check out Bubble Bee for some boba, expecting a good experience. Coming from LA and the OC area, where there are plenty of amazing boba spots, I was hoping for something similar. Walking in, the interior and atmosphere are very open and inviting as well as clean. Unfortunately, the boba was hard, and the drinks were overly sweet. My Thai tea cup was probably 1/3 filled with foam, and lastly they gave the wrong size cup, even though it wasn't crowded at the time. Given the boba scene I'm used to back home, this visit was a let down. read more

Boba and Beard Papa cream puffs are the perfect combo so these two businesses in proximity to one another is a match made in sweet heaven. I stopped by after stocking up on some prodigious puffs looking for something to drink. The menu is quite extensive with different options for creamer, sweetness level, as well as temperature. I appreciated that they offered hot boba drinks in addition to cold. Since it was a bit chilly in the morning and we were going to eat outside I opted for a hot chai tea with honey boba. The nice thing about the boba is that it's organic and thus all natural. The bad thing about the boba is that while it was decently chewy, in my drink all the bobas congealed together to form several large chunks. Not good eats. The chai itself was decent, nothing too special. Service was friendly and wait time was about average considering a gaggle of teens was ahead of me with quite a few drink orders. read more

I've gotten 4 different drinks here in the last 6 months and they all taste like chemicals. The first time I complained and they said they used a "sanitizer" earlier that morning in the machine but would not say what kind of chemical it specifically it was. I felt sick each time I consumed just a couple sips of the drinks here and don't think it's safe. It could be cancer causing long term. Short term it caused headache, dizziness, nausea.. I can understand that their taking more cleaning precautions because of covid-19, but the drinks have never tasted like cleaning chemicals pre-covid so I'm not sure what happened. I would never recommend this place. Look at the recent reviews, they all talk about poor customer service. read more

Service was simple and good. Located inside Scottsdale Quarters, it's in front of the courtyard where a lot of families hang out with little kids enjoying the water feature. Got the oolong milk tea half sweet and it was great. Their cups are fat and stubby which is cute but doesn't fit in my cup holder. The only star docked was for the sewer-like smell coming from inside. Almost didn't want to order our drinks because of it, I'm pretty sure it's a temporary issue so hopefully that gets fixed asap read more

Some of the best Taro bubble tea in the US and I'm from NY. They use fresh local ingredients and make their own powder. You might not be able to alter your sugar levels but the tea is not overly sweet and the Taro has a sharp taste. The honey boba is soft and not too sweet. I frequently went to this place for tea a few years ago and so I went back recently and thought it was just okay. I had the BFF fruit tea which came with some popping boba. I don't really like it as much anymore because the tea is very sweet. I didn't see an option to customize sweetness but would recommend asking in the future. Besides that, the space was nice and it's located in the middle of a shopping area so its a convenient stop while shopping. read more

Ok...I haven't even received my order yet, but the fact that they are THE ONLY place in County Galway to serve potato and leek soup!!!! We've been searching our entire trip for this! My biggest guilty pleasure right now - Bubble Bee! I realized I had an addiction to this boba tea when I realized I have been ordering this at least 2x a week! Although my husband surely doesn't mind. We have a few go-to's - The Goldilocks slush (Mango, Guava, Passion fruit & Green tea) with boba, popping boba & a few different fruit jelly - The Coco & Rose (Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla & black tea) with boba & mixed fruit jelly - The Cloud 9 (Coconut, Peach, Vanilla, Guava & white tea) Each are so tasty in their own way, but the best part about this is there are so many flavors and add ones that you can completely customize your nice dessert! I love dessert but super sweet items don't settle as nice as they used too, but this refreshing and satisfying boba tea at bubble bee is the perfect dessert for us... at least 2x a week! Lol So many flavors to try that if you get it wrong once, I feel confident they will have a flavor on their menu somewhere that will match your needs. Out of all of the years I've come here, not once have I ever had a bad experience with food or service. Price is also so cheap. The prices have virtually stayed the same for YEARS now. We started off with a large sake bomb paired with a Kirin Light ($15). We then ordered two Tonkotsu Ramens, one medium spice and one hot spice ($15.99 each). Honestly, the hot spice level did not taste spicy at all, so I would recommend going extra hot if you like spice. They also provide chili powder on the table if you want to add more spice yourself. The ramen broth itself could have used a tad more flavor. I lightly added some soy sauce to the broth which is something I often do to add a little kick. I loved all of the toppings included, from the green onions to the kikurage (wood ear mushroom). My favorite part was the pork chashu, which was really tender and delicious. I also appreciated that the ramen came with a full soft boiled egg rather than half an egg, and the egg was perfectly runny. Before leaving, we ordered their tea special that was buy one get one. We got a matcha milk tea and a cafe latte which I forgot to take a photo of. I felt like the cafe latte could have used a little more sweetness to balance it. Also, I found it neat that Nishikawa offers a rewards program, not something I see often at ramen shops. The server came over relatively quickly and was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Since it was two of us, we wanted to try a range of things but our main focus was ramen. We decided to order some edamame to start, which was okay. It wasn't super fresh, but overall it was decent. For our main course, we ordered the kaizen and the hafu sushi. We ordered the Obon ramen to split. Not long after ordering our food came out. The server was really attentive and placed our ramen in two separate bowls for us. As far as flavor goes, the Obon was extremely spicy. I'm a spicy girlie and I couldn't even eat it. I ate the noodles, but the broth was too much for me. I passed it on to my husband and to my surprise, he actually ate it (he doesn't like spice). I think his sore throat trumped the spice. The kaizen roll was really good. We actually loved that. The hafu, not so much. The cilantro flavor was a little too heavy on the roll itself. We would definitely give this place another try if ever in the area, but maybe order something different.

I was there yesterday morning and witnessed this business willfully, blatantly, irresponsibly, and REPEATEDLY violate county, state, and federal health codes for food establishments. When I informed the woman at the counter of the problem, she refused to address it. When I asked for a manager, he also refused to address it. This restaurant does not seem to care at all about the health and safety of their customers, nor the cleanliness of their establishment. All of the employees need to be retrained on health codes, food handler protocol, and customer service. They KNOW they are in violation, but do not care.
