Great service and delicious food! We went there twice in one week because it was so good.

Place is cool and clean, and the staff very friendly. They have a really cool outside patio with fire pits and a good vibe. Will be back!

Had a great time with the family here at Bubba's! Our party of 15 was seated very quickly, thanks to the host who was amazing. The restaurant was really clean, even while super busy. Our server was Priscilla who got our food to us very fast. Definitely would recommend!! read more

Ok so I come here often with my family. It's a wonderful restaurant, don't get me wrong, the owner is great. But during my most recent visit with a family member who is not from California was cut short by the absolute rudeness of one of the hostesses. My mother didn't even get to ask for a table before she was interrupted by a hostess in a very rude tone saying they were not going to seat people until a specific time. This would not have been a problem, we wouldn't mind waiting, but the tone with which we were told was completely unacceptable. And when we asked for clarification, the rude tone only got worse. This is not our first negative experience with this hostess. Again, the food is great, and most of the time so is the service. The place is always clean. But the negative experiences continue to occur. They don't staff the way they need to, which leaves many tables open, but unable to be attended. And it happens often. We came during cruising grand, which would generally be expected to be a busy business day. Evidently they did not plan ahead staff wise. read more

I cannot express enough how cool this place is. I LOVE all the TVs and the back patio area is so cozy. I was a little worried it would be too cold but the heaters were perfect. I am obsessed with the ribs, my friend and I tried both the beef and baby back ribs that just melted in your mouth right off the bone. The servers were super knowledgeable and I was SHOCKED to hear that they are in soft opening with how well put together everything is. You have got to try this place which is much needed on Grand and we are so excited to join them all the time :) read more

Amazing new place on grand. Food was exceptional. The beef ribs and chile fries were the best thing we ordered. Would love to see the Wing Wednesday price be lower. If they could get closer to $1.00-1.10/wing, I'll bet they could get a great Wednesday evening thing going. read more

We liked the service and ambiance. The food was not worth the price. Ordered the turkey club. Came with 1 slice of turkey meat and the rest was lettuce and tomato. Not worth $17! Plus if you want a side, it's extra. The 4% service charge at the end for using your credit card was disappointing also. Not going to eat there again. read more

The Best BBQ in Town Hands down! Friendly service and great atmosphere. They have TVs throughout the whole restaurant so you can enjoy any sports game. That's on the price for the food is reasonable considering how delicious it is. It's definitely a must try. read more

We were a party of 4 who decided to eat at Bubba's in Escondido. We came in pretty late, so they were out of brisket, burgers, mashed potato and yams. The good news was that our sweet server named Taylor was really great. The other good news is that the 2 sandwiches which the male members of our party ate were great in both quality and quantity. Unfortunately we gals didn't fare quite as well with our meals, which were kinda "meh". Taylor did ask about that and I was honest about it. I didn't ask for a refund or anything, but being the super good waitress she was, she had my meal subtracted from the check, which I do think was really awesome of her. I would eat here again, the ambience is nice, the service was great, everyone on staff seemed very friendly. The pulled pork sandwich and turkey club were wonderfully done. We gals just didn't have a lot of luck with our meals, but that can happen anywhere, so yes, we will happily eat there again. The restaurant has a lot of football and hockey games on which we didn't watch, but at least, for those who care about sports, it's a very nice and clean atmosphere. No cigarette or stale beer smell, VERY clean and lovely. Taylor was an excellent waitress, no need to ask for refills, she was right on it! Great service, nice ambiance. We got the wings and the potato skins. Both were good but please, skins needed more cheese.

I would totally come back but without coors light I can't get my buddies in here so likely I'll go elsewhere. Maybe trash the mango cart or bud light for coors light. Brisket slider were awesome though. read more

This place is new to the Escondido scene and new to the Grand Ave scene but I cannot recommend them enough. Menu is fantastic and the staff is even better. 10/10 the following items: Mac and Cheese, Cheesesteak sandwich. Always ask for Jeff's daily recommendations. (The New York Jeff). read more

Food was very good, service was even better. Plenty of TVs to enjoy sports. Ambience was nice. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. So it's 7:00 pm and this place just opened less then a month ago . I called to place a order and was told the kitchen was closed early today it's a Wednesday evening you would think if you were going to keep you place open to serve beer you would keep your kitchen open for food so the customers can eat and your business can make money very disappointed to say the least read more

Just had an outstanding lunch at Bubba's, and can't wait to return! The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was melt-in- your-mouth tender, and the BBQ sauce very flavorful. Portion size was large enough for a second meal. I make a mean pecan pie, but theirs, surprisingly, passed my expectations. Delicious. Our server, Skye, was very friendly, efficient and patient with our group of six. The owner was also friendly and attentive in making sure our experience was the best. Will be back soon! read more

The wings were pretty good. Everything else was not. The bbq was fatty, the fries soggy and the "Cobb" salad was an inedible mess. Waited half an hour from ordering til the food came. The appetizer and mains were all brought at the same time. After that we were never checked on again. They get a pass for service bc they're still figuring it out but not for the quality of food. read more

The ambiance is spectacular it has a rustic feel, with many TVs and tons of space. Definitely a piece of Grand that was missing which is now fulfilled with delicious barbecue and wonderful service. read more
