No hassle at all. I can just get ny own drinks at the soda machine and I don't need a server! I got 1lb shrimp with sausage, potatoes, and corn. I think the flavor is a tiny bit lacking, but the sausages was amazing! It was yummy for it being the first time eating here. I find the cajun here could be more spicy, more lemony, and definitely more salty, but its still really enjoyable to eat!

Sooo good! We went in a Tuesday to the indoor market in downtown Riverside after hiking and decided…read moreto stop by for food. I payed less than $5 for 2 shrimp tacos, it was taco Tuesday! The flavor was soo good! The coleslaw and the sauce were creamy, sweet, and seasoned well. I used them to help with the spice level. We got them spicy and it was a tear jerker! The spice did not linger but rather just punch you in the face . Potent in a powdery way (maybe cayenne). My sinus cleared up and my eyes got watery. Would come again and get them mild. We only got the shrimp tacos so that's all I'm rating here today. The flour tortilla was okay. I felt like it was thick and slightly stiff. My only complaint.

I am glad that there there is an option for boiled seafood in the area!…read more I purchased a pound of peeled shrimp, with 1 order of corn + 1 order of potatoes (3x), and an extra side of garlic bread at the end. I was extremely full at the end of the meal! I ordered mild seasoning, but I might ask for *no* seasoning next time. To be fair, this might be common for this style of cooking. Nevertheless, it might be nice to try the lemon pepper and garlic butter on their own. At first, I was apprehensive about eating the potatoes without utensils. However, I think they work well for dipping, and they are a better option than the garlic bread if you have something spicy (or mild). Either way, the corn paired nicely with the seafood. So, I may order an extra half a corn and/or consider ordering 1/2 pound of seafood next time (maybe without the potatoes). I also tried two of the flavored teas (passionfruit and peach), which were both excellent! Finally, I did not try them for this visit. However, if you are going with a group of friends, then there are also economical fried seafood options that I think looked like a good deal.

I was really hoping for a great Thai meal, but it turns out Sweet Basil Thai Bistro has merged…read moreoperations with a seafood spot. Unfortunately, the quality of the Thai food has severely suffered in the process. We ordered the Crying Tiger and specifically requested that the steak be cooked medium. Instead, it was served completely rare, which ruined the dish for us. The execution just was not there, and the Thai food overall was a huge letdown. From looking at their online profile and the menu details, it is clear they are now operating primarily as Seafood Boiler. We did not try the seafood boil, so I cannot speak to that side of the menu--perhaps that is where their focus is now. However, if you are coming here expecting good Thai food, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Save your money and skip the Thai menu.
