I came for a date night with my husband on a random Tuesday night. It was initially very quiet, but when our food arrived, plenty of larger groups suddenly came in, making the place even livelier than it already was. We ordered whole shrimp, quail eggs, and sausages with the Crab N Spice sauce, the Cajun pasta, and an extra all-in sauce on the side. Our servers were friendly and explained everything thoroughly, as it was our first time here. They have plenty of options for the shrimp: peeled, heads off, etc. Our food came rather quickly after placing the order. The table was spacious and ready, lined with papers and a bucket for our trash. Our water was always full, and they checked in on us at the right time so we never felt like our servers abandoned us during our meal. The shrimp was cooked perfectly in the bag. My mistake was ordering the all-in on the side, because that is definitely my favorite sauce! and unfortunately made the Crab N Spice sauce milder than it was. I love the quail eggs in there! Sausages were okay. The letdown was the Cajun pasta. It felt lacking in flavor. Good thing we had the all-in sauce on the side, so it came in handy for adding a bit of flavor to the pasta. Crab N Spice delivered excellent customer service from start to finish. My brother brought us here for their AYCE seafood boil, but we arrived a little too late for it. Luckily, we ended up ordering a variety of other dishes and everything was fantastic. For our party of three, we ordered the Castaway Combo, popcorn chicken basket, fries with crab meat (plus extra crab meat), garlic noodles, and a shrimp po'boy. We were given extra lemons. Honestly, I would rate this place a 100 out of 5 stars. The food was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned without being overly salty. The seafood tasted fresh, honestly, everything we ordered was fresh. We definitely over-ordered, but we happily took the leftovers home. Have you ever ordered popcorn chicken from a restaurant, bit into it, only to discover that it's 5% chicken, 95% batter? Not here, friends. You get juicy and flavorful chicken and it tastes even better after you squeeze lemon over it! Just grab the popcorn chicken so you can snack on it as you wait for your seafood boil. Parking can be a bit limited directly in front of the restaurant since it's shared with other businesses, but if you don't mind a short walk, there's additional parking available in the nearby mall lot. I also really appreciated how clean the restaurant was: the dining area and restroom were both spotless. A nice touch was that they provide gloves, which makes eating a seafood boil much less messy. Its been a while since I've been to a seafood boil spot, so I decided to give Crab N Spice a try. The inside of the restaurant was roomy, with plenty of seating available. Our server was very friendly and attentive and took good care of us. They offer a variety of seafood options sold by the pound including different types of crab, shrimp, mussels, and lobster tail. I ordered their one pound of shrimp, half a pound of sausage, corn, and potatoes, along with a side of their garlic noodles. As For the sauce, I chose the Crab N Spice flavor. Overall to me the flavor was decent but it didn't really wow me. The garlic noodles however, were really good and had great flavor. I might come back to give them another try. read more

Update to the manager's response to my review : I originally left a message for the manager after my experience and expected a return call. Unfortunately, I never received one. Two days later, I had to call the restaurant myself to follow up. The same gentleman who had originally taken my message answered the phone, and he remembered exactly who I was. He told me that the manager had left a message for me and then read it to me over the phone. I was told that because more than 10 days had passed, they could no longer issue me a refund. However, I was offered the option to return to the restaurant and receive a discount on a future visit. At this point, I am honestly even more disappointed--not simply because of the refund, but because the manager never took the time to call me herself. I had to follow up, and the gentleman who answered the phone was put in the uncomfortable position of relaying the message to me while repeatedly apologizing. I truly felt bad for him because he was very kind and professional, and it was clear that he was being put on the spot over a situation that should have been handled directly by the manager. I find it very frustrating that after I took the time to explain my concerns and give the restaurant an opportunity to make things right, this is how the situation was handled. Offering me a discount to return is not really a resolution, especially when my original experience was already so disappointing. At this point, I am more upset about the lack of communication and follow-through than anything else. I simply expected the manager to have the courtesy to return my call herself. Unfortunately, after this experience and the way my concerns were handled, I do not recommend this place and will definitely not be returning. read more

We ordered a large plate with lobster, shrimp, potatoes, corn and crawfish in a lemon garlic sauce. It was bursting with flavor and it was fresh. The waiter Jose did say that it served 4-6 people which made me wonder why it only came with 4 baby potatoes and 2 small 3 inch corns. Food & Drinks: I had the "Captain's Choice"--great flavor and fresh seafood, 10/10. The $9 Lemon Pepper fries were a very small portion and tasted believe average 4/10. The Lagunitas comes in a mason jar that looks small but actually holds 16oz--surprisingly generous. (I had to research myself as looks are deceiving the glass looks small) Portions & Pricing: Seafood broil was priced fairly but could've used more food. Fries were $9 for a small portion. I left still a bit hungry and ate some of my wife's leftovers. I hit up a bunch of seafood boil spots from LA to San Diego. This is one of the worst spots. From service to food. I read some of the reviews here and look like some people got lucky with great service and got tasty food. This place is really overpriced compared to Kickin Crab, Boiling Crab, Pier 88 and Shrimp Factory. This is my second time coming here. I came here to give them another chance because last time me and my friend did the all you can eat and still didn't taste as good as other competitors. We tried different sauces. I always prefer the house or a blend of everything with medium spicy. If you like bland food then I guess this is the spot to eat. Food 1/5 So I bought 1lb of shrimp, sausage and a clam chowder breadbowl. Next time I'm going to bring in something to weigh the shrimp just because I'm bored. There is no way that is a pound because everywhere else we go, the pound of shrimp there are more in the bag. Paying $50 for this is INSANE They also charge you for gloves lol. The taste was yet again bland. We did medium spice and a mix of everything. Still . The sauce is weak in my opinion. I didn't take a picture of the clam chowder breadbowl but it was also disappointing. It was boring and had no flavor. I choose BJs clam chowder over this and that should say alot. Service 1/5 Last time I came I got really good service. This weekend I had the worst service. I had to go up to the front register like 2-3 different times to ask for forks, bibs and gloves. There was 6 of us and charged with an 18% service charge. This left a bad taste in my mouth. Imagine paying an extra $8 for no quality service... Atmosphere 4/5 The only thing great about this spot is the atmosphere. I seriously thought this was only in LV so I was super happy that a legit cajun crawfish spot is in the IE. First of all, this is in a really nice and new plaza, so other than dining here, it's also a great place to just chill and walk around. We came with a table of 9. They do reservations so make sure to take advantage of it through open table! The service was solid. We had Travis help us out and he accommodated us really well, even on a busy Saturday night. I like how in addition to creating your own bag, there were preset bags. We ordered the pirates choice, which was awesome. Definitely get the crab n spice sauce, but we'll probably do all in next time. For the apps, we got the cod and fries, wings, and calamari. All were great... the portions were just a little small. 100% make room for dessert because the beignets were out of this world. We ordered both the chocolate and the regular ones. We had such a great experience at this seafood boil spot. My husband and I each got a pound of shrimp, and there was a deal where he got an extra half pound for free (this deal is limited to one per table), and cajun fries to share. The shrimp was incredibly easy to peel and the ALL IN seasoning was packed with flavor. The service really stood out! The staff checked on us often, and the electronic carts that bring out the fries were a fun and convenient touch. One thing that really impressed us was how clean the space was. Seafood boils can get messy fast, but the dining area was spotless, and the hand washing stations were just as clean and well maintained. To finish things off, we enjoyed some delicious beignets served with Nutella that were absolutely amazing, warm and so much powdered sugar. We honestly can't wait to come back soon. Talking about Crab N Spice, their seafoods are okay, ofc, every restaurants won't have fresh catch from water. My family likes their Crab N Spice seasoning, satisfied with non spicy. Their fries are really good with fried calamari. Talking about portion: Very small portion, (combo) disappointed when compared to Boiling/Kicking crabs, their combo of lobster tail/king crab legs/snow crab legs... couple legs& lobster tail are very tiny little meat. Boiling/kicking crabs offer the good generous size of their combos. A bowl of rice at Crab N Spice, $3 came with small cup size, not even full pressed, it's barely up to the top. Opposite from Boiling/Kicking Crabs, they give you a pressed full cup of rice, (large size) .. Crab N Spice doesn't use the good quality mussels, they use the black small mussels, the meats got shrunk after cooked, barely have meat. Boiling/Kicking Crabs use the big green mussels [Perna Viridis] which typically have a good amount of meat. They have a reality high meat-to-shell ratio. If you have a large size of family and want to dine in with Crab N Spice, you might look into $300 bill In order to fill up your stomach. They do have happy hour but not on the weekend. I'm not considering to stop by again even it smells too good right next to my gym (Reign Training Facility) and one of my favorite Medical Spa Beautiful Body & Beyond ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Our group had a large gathering at Crab & Spice in Corona and spent over $3,000 that night. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a completely avoidable situation that the owner chose to handle in the worst way possible. During service, one of the servers accidentally spilled an entire beer onto one of our guests' business bag, which contained important work materials and a laptop. Accidents happen -- we all understand that -- and to be clear, the servers themselves were genuinely apologetic and tried their best to help. None of this was their fault. What shocked us was the owner's response. Rather than taking responsibility for a mistake that occurred in her establishment, she refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, dismissed the seriousness of the damage, and offered zero compensation. Not even a partial comp on the bill, a discount, or any gesture to make the situation right for the innocent customer whose property was damaged. Given the amount our party spent and the completely reasonable expectation of professional hospitality, the owner's attitude was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. We left feeling disrespected, unsupported, and honestly stunned by the lack of accountability. This experience made it clear that while the staff works hard, the ownership does not stand behind their guests -- even in clear-cut situations where they should. We will not be returning, and we hope management seriously reconsiders how they treat customers moving forward. Update: Your response--coming a full week after the incident--only proves what we suspected from the start: your disregard for customers isn't an accident, it's a pattern. Let's be very clear. We never questioned the willingness of your staff; they were the only ones who showed any decency that night. The real issue is you--the owner--who chose to hide in the kitchen rather than face a situation that demanded responsibility. That decision alone says everything we need to know about how you run your business. Your refusal to compensate our guest, despite our party spending far more than the "$1800" you conveniently referenced, is embarrassing. Whether it was one check or several tables doesn't change the fact that you made a conscious choice to do nothing. A spilled beer on a bag containing important business items, including a laptop, is not a minor inconvenience--it's a serious mistake. And your complete lack of effort to make it right shows a troubling absence of empathy, professionalism, and basic character. Hiding behind the excuse of "no liability" only highlights your inability to take ownership of your own establishment's mistakes. It's pathetic, frankly. Tried the all-you-can-eat seafood boil ($40 Monday-Friday) and it's such a good deal! You get three appetizers, all the sides, and three seafood choices -- and it's endless. The seafood was super fresh, meaty, and perfectly cooked, which is rare when you're getting this kind of quantity and quality together. Everything had great flavor, and I loved being able to choose my seasoning and spice level. Note: I personally could've gone for a touch more salt, but that's totally preference. I've tried the one in vegas and I did not like the flavoring. However, the ayce deal in vegas is way superior. You pay 40$ for ayce and you can pay a flat rate of 30$ for ayce lobster and 40$ for king crab and they even throw one cluster of snow crab. It also comes with all the sides as your choices. This location is retarded. You pay 40$ for ayce and it's 15$ per lobster..12$ per snow crab. You also have a one time charge of 5$ for peeled shrimp and one time charge of headless shrimp for 3$. The vegas location does this also. Now, I can do ayce for 40$ and add on a king crab for 79$ or i can add one whole lobster for 25$. I really wanted the dungenous crab, but market price for one was 67$. That's insane. You can go to costco and buy 2 1/2 dungenous crab for 30$. This location sickens me. I will say this. The crab n spice flavor is the best flavor I've had from any other cajun boil places. I really enjoyed the seasoning but for the price point, I cannot pull myself to come here again after eating at the vegas location. This franchise is all individually owned so the owner sets the price. I gave this place a 2 bc my server was very awesome and friendly. I sat outside the patio bc I had dogs. They only had 2 tables outside so it's quite small. The music was sort of too loud but that was fine. Maybe i should try the Palmdale location. read more
