Whent for dinner last night. Ordered hamburgers disgusting!!!! They where dripping in grease. The blue chesse burger had dressing on it not the chesses crumbles like last time. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Went with a party of 4. The hot wings were pretty good and the beer was ice cold and never ran out. I wish I could give more stars based on the service alone... But the burger was horrible. The burger wasn't cooked to the correct temperature and tasted like it had some sort of seasoning that doesn't belong on a burger. If all you want are wings and beer, this is the place... Avoid the rest of the menu. read more

Really good food and atmosphere and the onion rings are amazing. The food was very good as well though it took a while to come out. I got the chicken tenders with honey mustard which I definitely recommend. The service was very good as well, though it did take a long time for our bills to be rung up. Overall Bubba's is a great restaurant to drink beer and watch football. read more

Went there on Sunday night Labor Day weekend and it was packed. We had to wait 30 mintues for a table but they had benches to sit on and corn hole if you wanted to play. Just a heads up, this place is LOUD. There are speakers on the outside that are blaring music which makes it difficult to talk. I get that it is sports bar, once inside there are large TV's everywhere on different channels (they claim more TV's than tables). There was a football game on with the people at the bar cheering loodly- and everyone else had to talk even louder to be heard.Did I mention it was loud? I would give the food four stars, you get large portions and the prices are reasonable, but the noise level made it difficult to enjoy the meal. read more

We had a party of 5 and 3 out of the 5 hamburgers were so rare they couldn't be eaten. Even after sending the burgers back they were bleeding and rare. Won't be back. The only adjustment made was the appetizer was deducted. read more

The beer was ice cold and delicious. The food was greasy as hell but very flavorful. Our group ordered a pizza and a couple burgers. Good stuff but needed a ton of napkins to soak up the grease dripping off the plates. The staff was pretty cool and even though the place was crowded we got seated fairly quick. read more

Great sports bar and excellent food. I've had the pizza, burgers and hot wings and they were all outstanding. Plenty of tv's for watching sports. Only open after 4 M-F, but at 11am on weekends. Oh, and the abundance of very pretty and super friendly waitresses doesn't hurt ;-) read more

I went to Bubba's on Friday evening for some dinner with my buds. It did not take too long to be seated even though we were a big party, which was cool. I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and broccoli. Obviously I am not trying to get fat, and I was happy with how the broccoli turned out. Momma taught me well! The chicken tenders were pretty solid, although the ranch dressing was just aight. The french fries were good too. I went to Bubba's on Friday night and let me tell you, IT WAS AMAZING! I was with some of my closest friends and that made my experience that much better! I ordered the aloha chicken & I felt like someone was taking a trip to Hawaii right in my mouth, boy oh boy was it tasty! I also ordered two sides of broccoli because my micronutrient level for the day was very low, but that broccoli was great. The broccoli tasted like someone squirted hot butter all over it & it was so yummy I almost died. The waitress was also very attractive & she always came around when I was almost out of water, for that I am eternally grateful. My experience was awesome, I would live at Bubba's if I could, I've actually been living in my car for the last few days in the Bubba's parking lot. I am always the first one in and the last one out. My first experience at Bubba's was a serious life changer for me. read more

Have a job assignment in Waco, TX for half a year and my hotel the Home2suites by Hilton is right next door... been here over about 2 months now I and have been coming to this place atleast 3 times a week to unwind and chill.. So far ive tried the Wings, Chili, Meaty Pizza, 33 Deluxe Pizza, Bubbas Signature Ribeye, Classic Cheesburger, Bubbas Bacon Burger, on Monday ive had my burger with egg due to thier special Monday Madness, on Tueaday any Pizza for 10 bucks is a good deal too.. as for the Bar 2 Bartenders stand out Brittany Snell and Bailey Longmire... so if ya in area stop bye.. no complaints so far.. read more

Me and my wife had been here before and it was great. Today my in laws are in town and my wife wanted them to try this place. It was really busy so we understood the wait and we tried to be understanding. 15 minutes after we got sat our server came and got us what we wanted to drink and by then we were ready to order so we did. the drinks came with our food which didn't come in for 45 minutes. when our food came we asked for ranch and it didn't come till we were almost done with our food. that wouldn't have been as bad if we didn't ask for it when we ordered our food. And its not only us, the people behind us got there with us and they never got there food and when they tried to bring it it was the wrong orders. for all 4 of them. I think the place is great but they need better employees that can work under stress. will probably come back and will update my review if service changes our experience. read more

In the past I have taken my family to Bubba's without incident. Food and service were good (although they were always out of the Beers they listed on their menu which was anoying) until about 6 months ago. Now it seems that no matter what, the order is wrong and has to go back to the kitchen. But, that happens. Fix it and no problem. The last time we went, it took three tries to get both cheese and avocado on a burger. This time it was just a mess. They screwed up my order, and rather than fixing it, they doctored the messed up order and tried to serve it back to me. They also screwed up my son's cheeseburger, and rather than fix it, just handed him a slice of cold cheese, because I guess kids food doesn't matter. I never did get an edible burger that night. After this the "manager" gave me a coupon for a free entree next time we come (I left it on the table as I don't plan on trying again for a long time). To add insult to injury, we were overcharged on our appetizer! This restaurant has a management problem. The food is good when they get it right. The fact that they screw up constantly is a reflection of restaurant management. read more

Bubba's 33 is my favorite restaurant I have every been to. I've been to several locations around Texas and I love it every single time! My favorite appetizers are the crooked fried cheese, fried pickles, bacon, and shotgun shrimp. Almost everything on the appetizer menu! Every single piece of food that I sink my teeth into, my mouth gets a burst of flavor! Everything on the menu is made from scratch! My favorite entrees include the chicken tender dinner, all of the pizzas, and the Stromboli is just to die for! I definitely believe that Bubba's 33 is a five star restaurant. Delicious! This place is so frustrating. Horrible service both times we have gone. Tonight we went and we ordered a couple drinks and the bean dip appetizer. The drinks arrived about 10 minutes after we ordered them and we put our meal order in, but no appetizer. It was fine we figured it would just be a few minutes. Well, after about 35 minutes (our waitress never checked on us) our meals came out. We figured they never entered the appetizer, after eating our salads for 15 minutes they brought out the appetizer, which we refused. The manager came out and said we would not be charged for the appetizer and gave us $5 off our next meal. The waitress offered to use it on this meal. We thought that was pretty cool and let her take it. She brings out the check and it was just our normal bill. We mentioned it hadn't applied the credit, she said I'll fix it. She then came back and said the coupon paid for the appetizer (that we refused). Total meal time was over an hour for 2 salads and 2 drinks. Waitress came to our table 4 times, 2 of which were for the check and issues. I like the food at this place, but we will never be back because of the terrible service both times. 2 others and I stopped in for an early dinner. First visit for all 3 of us. Seated quickly. And orders were also taken quickly. Friendly and knowledgeable server. Ordered queso as an appetizer. It was good, but spicier than I was anticipating. Companions ordered Hawaiian chicken (broccoli & salad sides) and espresso ribeye (mashed potatoes & salad sides). I had a hamburger. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I would give an A+ to the fries, shoestring type w/a very good flavor. Not a huge fan of the non gender bathrooms. Don't like going in to a toilet w/seat up and urine on the rim and floor. Not a deal breaker tho. Will definitely return. read more

Our first experience here would have resulted in a 1 star rating (undercooked pizza being brought out! among other issues). The last 2 times I was here, I tried their wings once & their shrimp poboy on a different visit, and it helped raise the bar to 3 stars. Stopped here on the way back to San Antonio. Great food, great service and they are opening 2 in my area soon! Definitely worth the stop and a great place to watch anything sports related. first time coming here and first time in waco. food was outstanding. i got the chicken tenders for dinner and onion rings and queso for the appetizer. tbh i could have just had the appetizers they were that good and filling. the onion rings were nice and light but also crispy and fried to perfection. the queso had a bit of heat but nothing overwhelming. the chips that came with it were amazing too. had a rly interesting seasoning that i loved. my favorite combo to do with the chips was a bit of the queso and some of the salsa that comes with the chips. MWAH!! the chicken tenders were also to die for. the breading was great and the meat was soooo good. i got them with sweet potato fries that once again were amazingly perfect. my mom got their famous bacon burger. she was in love. i tried a bite and loved it too. it was juicy with great flavor. the burger was humungous and she could barely finish it especially after appetizers. one thing i will commend them for is that the food ALWAYS came out pipping hot. sometimes food can come out of the back cold in other places. not here. nice and fresh. the wait staff was a so sweet and kind. we had said this was out first time and they gave us good recommendations and were so amazing. not pushy either. the atmosphere inside as also really cool. very chill but family friendly. im from jersey and i must say there is nothing up there that comes close to this place. i hope to be back ASAP!!! read more
