It's ok just ok. Food was average. Service was average. Nothing special or anything I want to go back and spend my money on.

We went there for lunch, and it smelled amazing before we even walked in the door. I ordered a burger and fries. It was really delicious. There was enough food on my plate to eat for another meal. The burger was a good size and the fries were nice and crispy. The service was slow and the TVs are loud, but it was a Friday afternoon and the place is catered for sports fans. A manager came by and asked if everything was okay. That's the kind of service I like! We'll definitely be going back! read more

Great service and awesome beer selection. Really cool they have local beers and sooooo many tv's. This is probably the first place I've ever been in they plays music videos. Food arrives hot. I had their jalapeño burger and it was very good. I recently had a buffalo pizza that was very good looking and very tasty. It had a very crispy bottom and the toppings were very well prepared. They keep the place well cleaned and staffed. Hate that the place opens at 1600 but its a great place to have dinner. Service was quick and it wasn't too expensive. Great local place near the highway. Atmosphere inside is a comforting sports bar theme with lots of space and T.V.'s all around, and on top of all that it's clean! Menu has much to choose from with a great variety from wings to burgers to pizzas! (By the way the philly cheese pizza is out of this world) customer service was quick + friendly and was served occasionally with a smile-- so that's also pretty nice too! Definitely will be coming back to grab some more grub anytime I have a free hour. read more

Four ladies went to Waco on Ladies Weekend. Stayed at the Hilton2 and the desk clerk recommended Bubba's for dinner. Bubba's is a sports bar restaurant with tons of TVs. Our waitress was wonderful!!! I had the fried chicken salad which was delicious. Two ladies split a pizza and each had a side salad. Also very good. Fourth person had wings which she said were excellent. Beer was icy cold. We had a great time and will probably go back for dinner tonight. read more

Not a good start for a new business. Not very crowded when asked to be seated in booth we were placed in a booth for 8 (only 2 of us ). Then we sat there and watched people who were seated after us get served while we were ignored . Then when someone finally helped us we were told he wasn't our server. We left after that. Came to this spot with my grandpaw while visiting Waco, I love the vibe of this spot and if you like real good bar food, I recommend this spot. I got the bacon cheese burger and fries. I like a nice messy burger. Because I was with my grandfather I didn't take advantage of the happy hour. Overall service was good, good vibes and really legit food. Fantastic find in Waco... the entire menu looks good. I had their shotgun shrimp po boy and is just delicious. The shrimp is fresh and cooked perfect, the sauce is similar to the bang bang sauce I tried while visiting a restaurant in St Thomas. I love that sauce and I am glad to enjoy it again here in Texas. My boyfriend ordered the south of the border burger and I could not stay away from his plate either. Yummy... this place is awesome food is awesome and service is awesome. Our server was Joe and he was just cool and gave us great service. Will be back probably tomorrow to try more of the menu.. We were in town for my daughters dance competition and we stayed in a hotel across the street from Bubba's and found this place on Yelp. The service here was excellent, our food was even better and Haylee couldn't have been more professional. We started off with the onion rings, the BBQ dip, which was like a paste, was something my tastebuds had never encountered before and my tongue just curled this stuff into my mouth. My cheese burger was very juicy and the bun was so soft, like biting into a donut. Will eat here again next year. The place looks very cool. Enjoy it, we did. read more

I absolutely hate to give a bad review, but I have to be honest. For Father's Day my wife and daughter took me to any place I wanted to go for dinner. Right off, I said Bubba's 33 for my favorite juicy but sloppy 33Burger. When we arrived we were greeting by a friendly hostess I think her name was Aloni or Alona? After seating us we were greeted by a waitress who introduced herself as "Jaz". When we placed our order another young lady brought out or meal. The order which my wife specifically expressed that she did not want any Mayonnaise on her burger. When she got her food which was brought to us by a polite, friendly server who identified herself as North when serving us and asked if there was anything else? At that time we hadn't noticed the burger sauce. When my wife checked the burger she found it had the spreading of the sauce used there which has Mayonnaise. As we hadn't seen Jaz we stopped one of the mangers passing by who replaced the top bun and offered to replace the bun and meat patty with the sauce on it. We saw Jaz serving and waiting other tables but she only stopped by our table one other time. That was when she was passing by I asked for a refill on my tea. I believe she picked up some dishes then. When we were finishing our meal Jaz stopped by the table to get the check before we were ready for her to. We were not asked if we wanted a desert or anything else she just collected the money for our order and brought back a ticket without returning the change. We would have tipped her as my daughter is a waitress and we always treat our servers with respect and dignity because we know they work hard for little money and work their hardest for the tips they receive. We guessed she just took it for granted too keep the change. We have been to Bubba's 33 here in Waco many times before and provided raving reviews. Just ask Rochelle one of the managers. We hope to come back but it may be a while... Sorry for this bad review. The food and atmosphere was good and the place was real busy. I just hope in the future the waitress "Jaz" will be more attentive to others needs instead of feeling like the only thing which matters was taking an order and collecting for the check. On my way out I hugged the hostess who seated us and she asked how was everything. I could only say the food was good but not to seat us with Jaz again. I didn't explain, I just acknowledged we enjoyed the meal. Once again, the food was good and we will return but it may be a while. read more

Besides Roadhouse - think this maybe my fav spot in my hometown. Bar area is pretty large nice with numerous TV for sports in 2 sections. Worth a trip any day of the week for sure. read more

We have been twice the first time we had the fried pickles, and onion rings for the appetizers both were really good the seasoning in the batter is great. My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger which he really enjoyed, I had the burger with chorizo and queso I didn't really like the burger it was a tad bit salty for my liking, but the place is great. The 2nd time we went we just had drinks and they were really really good. I had the blue margarita on the rocks, and husband had a long island. Very very good is all I can say. This place is not all that. The food was pretty good and atmosphere is great but the service is just the worst. We waited about 30 minutes for a table when the place wasn't even too full. Pretty awesome sports bar! Brought my family and it was great. Over 50 televisions tuned to a buncha different channels and during bowl season, that was a welcome sight! 3 kids under 12 and we found great items for everyone. Kyle served us and he memorized the entire order even though there were numerous changes. Very impressive. Appetizers were chips and salsa (not on the menu, but go ahead and order it; $3 and FREE refill!!), cheese fries, and glazed bacon. All great apps. Ranch was also thick and flavorful (odd thing to point out, I know, but it was really good!). For dinner, I and my 11 year old daughter had Aloha burgers. Fantastic and unique flavor! Wife had the grilled pork chop sandwich and it was enormous and tasty! 5 year old daughter had a wedge salad and baby had hot dog. No room for dessert. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 was because I felt they were a taddddd slow and they didn't have enough silverware for us. Literally told that by the server when I asked for some after we got our appetizers. Eventually got some. It was a weird thing. Anyway, we had a great dinner and will definitely be back! It's a comfortable place with a good vibe. This was our second visit. The food and the service were less spectacular than the first. We tried the shrimp, burger, fries, salad, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. Most of the food was pretty good. Sadly, the onion rings were served in a big greasy puddle; the worst I've ever seen. Fries were super salty, and the burgers have shredded iceberg lettuce. The server appeared to be very inexperienced and less than attentive. We had to ask more than once for most everything. We just happen to stumble on to this place and the food was amazing. Our waiter suggested the Sweet Glazed Bacon. I thought bacon for an appetizer, what??? So we said why not. We tried it and it was amazing. Then I picked the smoked Chipotle Wings which were also amazing. My friend had the Fried shrimp and of course we shared and it was seasoned very good. Our waiter Mark made the evening special by his helpful suggestions and making sure we were satisfied with our meals. He over heard it was my birthday and bright out a nice treat. Great menu. TV's everywhere with many channels showing. Sadly, the chef thinks he is grilling a 2" ribeye when he/she cooks ground beef. My sunshine burger was almost too salty to eat. Without the grossly excessive salt, it would have been awesome. As we left I asked the waitress if the over salting was normal. I expected her to express surprise. But, she said she has received multiple complaints about the excessive salt and passed the comments to the chef. Apparently the chef ignores the feedback or thinks the customer's views are not important. WAKE UP!!! We won't return until someone tells us that the meat is reasonably seasoned. I'm not willing to invest in another salt burger until I have some indication that it's edible. read more

Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Went with a party of 4. The hot wings were pretty good and the beer was ice cold and never ran out. I wish I could give more stars based on the service alone... But the burger was horrible. The burger wasn't cooked to the correct temperature and tasted like it had some sort of seasoning that doesn't belong on a burger. If all you want are wings and beer, this is the place...
