Visiting this restaurant was a last minute decision since our plan was to eat at Stone Werk but they didn't care for our money. So this was definitely a great place to stop by and have lunch. Excellent service from both Erica and the manager whose name escapes me. We received a free appetizer and a return coupon since it was our first visit. Meal was made incorrectly. Waiter said kitchen would remake it and took it back to the kitchen. Waited 15 minutes and waiter returns with the SAME incorrect meal and said it was too late to remake. Asked for tea, never got it. Asked for a margarita, never got it. Wasted hour and 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Stopped somewhere else on the way home for food. Food is always on point. Onion rings with bubba sauce is amazing. Pizza is a great option when you can decide on what to have. Great garlic flavor, not over powering. Burger cooked medium well are always a hit. Have not tried something I did not care for. read more

This has nothing to do with the food. The low rating has to do with their wait list for seating. If you do not have a phone when you show up, then you will essentially be denied entry. They evidently need to have your phone number to put you on the wait list. They have no other system to handle phone-less people. read more

Today was our first and last trip to Bubba's 33. Nice atmosphere. Our server was friendly and made a recommendation for an appetizer. It was the fiesta dip, very bland tasted like someone's sorry tasteless chili. My husband ordered the chicken and bacon Mac and cheese. What can I say absolutely nothing good. I ordered the fish and chips. Wow the fish was very delicious as were the fries just perfect. The coleslaw was way too creamy and the tarter sauce had way to much mustard in it tasted like HEB mustard potato salad. Our friendly server never came back to our table for refills on our drinks. Bubba's is usually one of my faves, but this new location hasn't been doing well. We ordered take out tonight, and my husband had to wait over 25 min past the pick up time. When he brought the food home, we realized we were missing a kid's meal, side of fries, and two drinks. Aside from that, the fried pickles were incredible soggy and cold (as if they had been sitting for over 20-30 minutes). The pizzas were also cold. It was very disappointing. I was able to heat up pizza for kids, but reheated fried pickles are gross. We live less than 5 minutes away, so the food should have been hot and crispy when we unpackaged it. I called to ask for the missing items to be replaced. Manager said they were extremely busy, so he didn't know how long it would take for them to recook the items. It seemed like he almost wanted me to say "nevermind". And also, the items to remake were a kid's cheeseburger meal, fries, and drinks. It really shouldn't have taken them too long. My husband got there, and the manager did come out to to apologize. I appreciate the apology, but it doesn't really make up for the the inconvenience. My husband was given the order after waiting about and additional 25 minutes, and they didn't give him all the items! All they gave him was the cheeseburger kid's meal. So, we still ended up missing 2 drinks, a side of fries, and the replacement pickles which were promised when we spoke on the phone. Extremely disappointing! read more

I can't seem to catch a break at this location. They haven't got my order right in the 6 times I've gone there for a meal. Today it was a Buffalo chicken sandwich which was clearly not Buffalo. It was not good. I've had pizza in the past that's never been right. Last time we were here I got my meal after everyone was finished with theirs. Today it was so slow that we were there for hours. My sister ordered sweet potato fries and got regular. It took forever for our meal to come and no one bothered asking if it was ok. It was not. Thinking the next trip will not be there. I tried Bubbas 33 today. Curbside pick up. I ordered the shroom burger. It was a respectable size and cooked very well. I thought it was a tad salty but that might just be me. The fries were nice and crisp. I thought a hamburger without a bun and fries was a bit pricey at $11 plus tax. I do plan to come back and try a different type of meal next time. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would this bubbas location has the worst service started with the waitress and her poor attitude and lack of urgency as well as poor listening skills. She would come for a brief moment then would zoom away after a member from our party called her back after her trying to walking away for the third time. Not to mention my sons food did not come until 20 minutes after everyone else's food was out and no one said anything about the wait for it. The bill came she misheard a piece of the order and we were expected to pay for that item with no knowledge of it being an issue management got involved his attitude was worse then the pregnant waitress. Explained how the item was consumed that he couldn't take it off the bill that we should have just left it on the side till the pregnant waitress came back to grab it. Showed up 30 minutes before closing. Met at the door by rude employee who stated that they close in 20 minutes. Said no tables available except at bar. Whats the difference if i order food from bar or dining? Kitchen closes same time . We only had a party of 2 and we thought they closed at 11pm due to Yelp. Wings and pizzas are delicious, all flavors. We've tried a lot of different items on the menu and haven't been disappointed.

We ordered onion rings, a hamburger and a small pizza. The onion rings were brought out with an apology because it had taken them so long to get them to us. It took another 40 minutes to get the hamburger and 40 more minutes into it we still didn't have the pizza. We were there approximately an hour and 45 minutes to get three things. We ate inside and the people in front of us have brought their dog in. A dog inside the restaurant is really unacceptable. The dog smelled. The entire experience was a nightmare. read more

First time trying out this location. We went Saturday, the day before Mother's Day. It was extremely warm in the restaurant. It didn't feel like the AC was on and it was already hot/humid outside. I saw people fanning themselves. Pretty sure that's not a good sign especially with the much needed air circulation due to Covid. The service was good. The mgr didn't charge us for the appetizer due to the delay. The burgers were good, a bit greasy, though juicy overall. I'll go back once it's a bit cooler inside :) read more

Sorry I cannot recommend as they have terrible management. I went on Monday to try out their "ANY burger for $7.99" special. I had previously looked at the menu on-line so I knew what I wanted to order. When I got there I learned the burger I wanted was no longer on the menu but the server checked with the mgr and told me the kitchen still had all the stuff so it could be made. At checkout I was informed my burger would not fall under the category of "ANY" as it was deemed as a "Special Request" by the mgr and I would have to pay the full price. I spoke to the mgr (Kylie) and she maintained I would not get the special's advertised price. I then asked about getting the Military Discount as I am Retired Military (30 yrs service) and a Disabled Veteran (probably only $1.50 discount). She declined to give that to me as well, not sure why maybe she just does not like Veterans. I made a complaint with the corporate office and was offered a Free Burger Coupon on my next visit. Sadly I fear that burger will likely NOT be free at checkout as I'm fairly sure Kylie will find some way to charge me full price on that one too! Sorry I cannot recommend this place unless they happen to get better leadership. read more

I have spoken to Lisa at guest relations who informed me that the owner/operator Braden and another manager, Mark had made claims that I was yelling and caused a scene. They even reported that I knocked over/threw a bar stool down. These are lies told by Bubba's 33/Texas Roadhouse representatives and employees. I challenge them to post a video of this night. It will prove these claims are not the truth. I thought I was doing a good thing reporting the customer service offered by their manager, Mary. My wife and I, along with our infant came in yesterday for dinner. Walked in and the hostess did not smile, did not greet us, just looked miserable if you ask me. Asked for a table that can accommodate a high chair, which is evident since my wife I carrying our child in her arms. She walks us to the table which looks elevated and not sure if a high chair would even fit. So my wife sits down and I stand with my baby expecting someone to bring a high chair, which is the usual for a restaurant when they see you have a child. She proceeds to walk back to the hostess stand only to stare off into space again. I just stand there looking at her hoping she will make contact so I can ask for the high chair. Servers pass and see me standing with my infant. No one bothers to check to see if I need anything. I have to go back to the hostess stand and ask for a high chair. She informs me that they don't have a high chair only booster seats. It wasn't ideal but we took it, only for my wife to see later that they do in fact have high chairs. Server greeting was blah and lacked engagement. Even after it had been 5-7 min since we sat down to be seen by the server. The place just seemed depressing from all the workers faces. Never saw a smile. Was ready to eat and just leave. The server came back twice to collect the signed receipt which is not usually acceptable to me. They should wait til we have left the table. Cherry on top was the worker who walked in from outside, saw us carrying our child and diaper bag, and decided to let the door close behind her instead of politely holding it open, which was very rude. I know there's a shortage of workers and low worker satisfaction, but there's also an issue of my hard earned money and where I choose to spend it. I will give Bubba's 33 one more chance but my first impression was not a great one. Showed up and signed in for what we were told would be a 10-20 min wait. As we sat outside people came and were seated as we remained waiting to be called. After 25 min we inquired into the situation. They pretty much forgot about us though I'm not sure how since we were on the list. Once seated it took another 45 min to get our food which of course was cold. Asked for fries that were hot and the waitress was very nice and said of course. 20 min later after we were done eating still no hot fries. The food was ok but not worth the wait it took to get it.
