The menu describes it as a "Grilled Airline Chicken Breast." Airline chicken? I've been flying for decades. It was marinated with adobo de achiote, citrus juices and olive oil, grilled over mesquite and oak, then served with caramelized corn, black beans and pineapple pico. And it was excellent. Beautifully prepared, juicy and packed with flavor. The pineapple pico and everything else on the plate worked together wonderfully. The bread had finally found its co-star. Overall, Boudro's didn't feel like the River Walk tourist trap we'd been warned about. She was friendly and attentive, took our order right away, and delivered our drinks promptly. What impressed us most was how she kept our drinks refilled without us ever having to ask. Her service was outstanding and made an already enjoyable lunch even better. The food was just as impressive. Our Mexican entrées were delicious and exactly what we needed after a hot afternoon on the River Walk. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted.
