I'm still wishing Yelp can offer a no stars option. Some places never fail to disappoint. Don't get me wrong food was bomb (from what they had left) but the service was really slow. Sometimes the service itself will remind you not to return to a place. It sucks that we visited two hours before closing and they only had one dish left. This location was the one next to the River Walk.

The tacos are made fresh to order, and homemade sauce is fire and very flavorful! A real treat and the pavilion has great drink options! Outdoor environment is. Plus!

I've been coming to El Cevichero since they had their food truck at the block. I order the same thing every time ... Birria tacos. They have the best flavor and pair perfectly with the consome. They are pretty big tacos, and upon first glance, you might think three won't fill you up, but trust me, they do. Because the food truck is located in a food truck park, it can get very busy on weekends and sometimes take a while to get your food. However, this is understandable as they have 2-3 people working. Seating is also limited, which can be difficult since you have to wait around for a table. The great thing is that they give you a buzzer after your order, so you have time to go search for a table. You won't regret trying this place!

I came here on a Saturday night and it was a 50/50 with the food. The quesitacos de birria were crispy and DELICIOUS! I could have eaten 10 of these. The mini tacos de diskada left a lot to be desired. They were soggy and the seasoning on the meat just wasn't doing it for me. Overall, I would order the birria tacos again if I was hungry and in the area, but I won't be going out of my way to come here. Similar to other Yelp reviews, we experienced an exceptionally long wait time on our food. I was expecting a little bit of a wait, I believe we were quoted 20 minutes, but it took ~ 50 minutes for our two orders of tacos to be ready. It wasn't busy and there was only two orders that were ahead of us when we arrived. Clearly something had gone wrong and either the order didn't go through or it got lost, because the employees kept poking there heads out to look at us and after about 35 minutes asked us what we had ordered. We got our food, eventually, but seeing as the quality was 50/50, I can't say that I recommend this place or will be coming back.

Customer service was great! Loved that they had music and seating while you waited on your food. My three queso-tacos missed the mark flavor-wise for me. The accompanying sauce was more like a broth and had a very light flavor. It did nothing to enhance the tacos. The cerviche was fresh and flavorful! Definitely a win there. My wait wasn't long and you get a good amount of food for what you pay!

Saw a recommendation for this place from SA foodie, and whewwww it didn't disappoint. Came here on a Friday night for food and live music. Advertised country music Fridays from 730-10. We ordered the Quesibarilla tacos which were amazing. 3/$10 with the dipping sauce and cilantro/onions/radishes for garnishes. We also saw it was BYOB but they also offer michelada mix for $15 for a large mason jar. I recommend bringing your own cups, limes, etc. but the mix is really good. The live music was also really good and it was a really cool, chill hang out with some awesome food. We plan on coming back soon!

If you like ceviche you MUST give this place a try! Been here three times and have ALWAYS enjoyed and we make it a point to come back every time we are in San Antonio. The Ceviche is always fresh and marinated to perfection. My favorite one is the hawaiian ceviche as it has pieces of strawberries that makes the fish flavor pop! The green ceviche is also good but a bit spicy IMO. The ceviche is served with fresh tostadas, saltines crackers and two types of hot sauces. The individual portion is $14 and is quite generous. There's a bigger portion but we like to stick to the individual sizes so we can each have our favorite flavor/style. They also have tacos and quesibirrias available. Apparently there's multiple locations but I can only speak for the one in cupples Rd. This is a BYOB location and is kept very clean. The owner is very involved and it's always making sure you receive the best customer service and have a great experience. This location only opens Thursday-Sunday.

Best birria tacos in SAN ANTONIO TX

I'm happy to be giving a positive review!! This is the best food truck-Not only is the food delicious but these people take pride in keeping everything clean!!! The seafood is fresh and clean and the birria tacos r the best I've ever had! They also are meticulous in the presentation of the food. Great serving size portions (surprisingly with todays prices)! I Highly recommend it! I remembered to take a pic when we were almost done eating (the tacos are filled to the top with beef)!

My other co-worker went out and tried the German Shepherd hot dog combo and loved it as well. So with a little twisting of the arm, I went out and went to see what they had to offer. Apparently they have hamburgers as well, but I was there for the hot dog experience. They had a "chef's special" which is whatever the chef wants to make. My only request was to be light on the cheese. They in turn asked me if I wanted it spicy. Without a second thought, I immediately said yes! What I got was a pile and a tasty pile of a loaded hot dog with chips, chili, mac and cheese, and pickles topped with jalapenos and some spicy shiracha on top. It wasn't good, it was amazingly good. Being from NY I was asked how it fare against NY dogs, and I have to say, this was way better. I have to praise the chef there, he or she made a tasty loaded dog! Also I have to forget the fries as well, they had sour cream and onion seasoning that pairs excellent with their offerings, not just the special. Well done!

I peeped the sign and 'Unc' short for Uncle came to my window. He greeted me and was warm, friendly and told me that everything on his menu was outstanding. #Facts I settled on the Razzle Dazzle Dog that had a honey mustard and cranberry slaw topping. It was refreshing, satisfying and I had never had a salad topping on a hot dog before. Living in Texas over the last 6 years had cornered me into chili dogs and such, but the Razzle Dog was a tastier and much healthier option. It was served on an oversized bun and it was well worth the $6.00 price tag. By the time I had gotten home, a mere short 5 minutes... the Razzle Dog had been nearly consumed and I debated heading back for seconds. Since I had just finished my workout, I decided to let the fat girl in me sleep and posted the greatness to Instagram and Facebook. I met Robert & Catarina (parents of these little entrepreneurs) on my way out of HEB. The hot dog cart is in the patio at the entrance/exit and the huge board full of their hot dog pics made mine & my partner in crime's mouths water. Robert was very friendly and really broke down what they had available. So there are several different types of dogs they sell such as the Chicago dog, chili cheese, the BLT. But the one that caught my eye from the jump was The Sonoran Dog. Bacon-wrapped... onions... tomato... pinto beans... yeah, this dog should be illegal. It broke so many hot dog rules & norms and would probably offend the deepest of hot dog snobs but I couldn't help myself on this one. From there, you pick which size dog: the classic, the P.H.A.T. (and there were two of these to choose from: Polish and a chicken w/habenero), and then the 9" mega P.H.A.T. dog! We were told the latter takes up two buns. o.O I asked for a suggestion and I was told the chicken w/habenero was really good with it. And that was no joke. It was delicious and hit the spot! My partner in crime & I split the dog and I was so unbelievably sad it was gone so fast. But we will be back! Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet 'the bosses' of this wonderful food cart but they nailed it with this gem. From what I understand they split their time between the DeZavala HEB and the HEB Plus on the south side on Zarzamora. The prices are fair and chips & drinks can also purchased as part of a combo.

It is located close to San Juan Mission but away from commercial area. The building looked a little run down and the parking was mostly gravel. We ordered a variety of inexpensive lunch plates and were surprised by the large amount of foods on each plate. All the foods were delicious. The foods were true unassuming Tex-Mex offerings that satisfied our taste bus and stomachs. The prices were so cheap, non of our dishes costed over $13. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Our water never ran dry and plates were cleared promptly. To be honest, Esmeralda's tasted so much better and so much cheaper than any hole in the wall Houston Tex-Mex shacks that I had ever eaten at so far. Informations for non regular customers.
