First time at Bubba's 33, and I liked it. Service was awesome ! My boyfriend and I loved our server Ajane; she was very knowledgeable and sweet. She honestly made it for me, I wish all servers were like her. Now about the drinks and food! I had the frozen sangria margarita, different but delicious! Ajane recommended it from what people normally order and I'm glad I listened. It wasn't over powering in sweetness or alcohol, it was just right. My boyfriend had the blue ocean... and let me tell you it was refreshing! The drink had a cubed watermelon and once it was crushed in the drink it was 10x better. For food we had wings, onion rings and cheese fries and it was okay. It's a great place to hang out and try delicious burger if you're craving for one. the burger comes with french fries which I would say is big for one person. We ordered shrimp as well. The burger was so big that we didn't have more space for the shrimp anymore. The service was fast, the waitress was nice and polite. Wow! Pleasantly surprised!! We were craving some wings and googled places nearby. Upon walking in we were greeted immediately. OK, so I had a word with the manager about my review. She was mortified that I was treated the way I was. And offered me an invite to come back. She said it was a one-time ordeal and it wouldn't happen again. So I decided to take a chance with it. And...I'm actually kind of glad I did. The atmosphere for the place isn't bad at all. Upon coming in, I was greeted by a nice waitress who learned about my situation and immediately apologized for it, even though it wasn't her fault. They served me a drink right away and helped me with some menu choices. The food itself does take a bit to cook, but it turned out to be delicious. The pizza is pretty good, and the "crooked" cheese sticks aren't bad either. Great happy hour food, to be sure. Overall, a nice turnaround from my last visit. Update: watched 3 tables get menus and drinks before asking why I hadn't gotten a menu yet. They seem to have a lot of staff so it was surprising. One server was way more interested in flirting with the table that came in at the same time as me. The staff member that I asked if I just sit or be seated is the one who dropped the ball. However, he seemed irritated when I called him on it apologizing to those who came in after me like I was in the wrong. Turns out the table near me had the same issue and we had the same staff member. I really wish I had gotten his name, but really not impressed with the service. The last time I went the women seemed to have an attitude with me and not once smiled when she was helping me. However, she did with the other tables. I had never seen her before so I have no idea why she was so short with me. Most of their food is GREAT, but the service needs a lot of work. Bubba's is just about everything you could ask for in a neighborhood bar and grill that's not just bar and junky bar food. When you stop in here, you can tell that there are a ton of locals that keep coming back. Admittedly, I am one of them. It's close to home. The food isn't top notch, but it's better than a lot of places and better than what you can get at any other local sports bar that I've found in the area. They have reasonable prices, many options for food and drink, and you can watch any combination of games that you want to here. Just ask. They've got like 24 TV's in the bar area and side by side around the entire restaurant. They are pretty consistent. Every restaurant has its hiccups. Sometimes they're bad here, but they do seem to go out of their way to make it up to you. Two of these burgers, maybe you get two of those burgers. Whoops, here come new burgers. Hey, we're sorry. What can we do to make it up to you? Mistakes happen, all you can do is own up to it, and offer a solution. They do that here. That's good enough for me. Reasonable prices, good food, good drinks, nice staff, clean restaurant, plenty of parking, good hours, good specials, and they care which is most important to me. I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is great, there are so many TVs and I was able to watch every sporting event that was on. It is a lively atmosphere but still nice where little kids can enjoy their time and still not get in the way of the other patrons. The food was very solid too. The mozzarella sticks are unique and taste great, their pizza is really solid, and the tater tots are some of the best Ive ever had. The service was very friendly as well. I will say refills were a bit slow, but nothing to hurt our trip, our waitress was great and the manager that stopped by the table was very friendly and inviting as well. The next time I need to be in Aurora with my family we will be stopping in again! read more

After my first time,​ I doubt I can ever go back. Took my family on Wednesday Night,​​ Feb 20, 2019. Honestly, everything was great. Greeted quickly, sat quickly, the server was friendly and kept the drinks full, and our order was correct. He is the issue, of the 5 of us, 3 got the Blackened Blue Burger (2 got two different burgers). Burger​ tasted great. We left happy... until 2:30 am when I woke up with ​serious pain in my stomach. My wife left work (overnight​ job) about 4 am with the same issue. My son an hour after that. All three of us had the ​blackened​ blue burger. We believe it had to be food poisoning. The other two were totally fine. I figured it must have been the blue cheese cream sauce that did it. I have never felt that bad in all my life. Vomiting, cramping, etc. Visiting a restaurant​ is about two things; service and food. Service was great... the food, at least for three of us, was a disaster. Scared to go back after this. My kids had been to Bubba's once before and said they had a good experience. We decided to give it a try on Aug 30, 2020. I ordered a Bleu Burger. The service was slow because our server had too many tables to be responsible for and the kitchen messed up our order. Our server, took care of the order mistake prior to bringing it out which contributed to the delay. However, when my burger was brought out, I ate about half of it and found a very large hair that was cooked right into the meat. Our server was mortified by what I showed her. She immediately went over to her manager and explained the situation. The manager didn't have the common courtesy to come over to the table and apologize. The only concession that gave was not to charge me for my burger. I have been in other situations like this before and the manager immediately addressed the issue and didn't charge us for the meal. This was not the fault of the server, but definitely on the cook staff and the manager for not coming over to the table and taking care of this. You can make your own decisions, but I won't be returning to this establishment, especially after almost paying for the whole meal. read more

I have been coming to Bubba's since they opened. The staff is extremely efficient, friendly, and their service is absolutely some of the best in the area. Their food is excellent and is reasonably priced. The pizzas you can eat in or can order in advance to take out. Their pizzas are some of the best in the area. Their signature drinks are excellent and reasonably priced. They are open for lunch Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 11 am to 2am. The rest of the week they open 4pm to 2am. The bar staff is extremely efficient and very friendly. The food menue is the same in the bar as in the dining room, same great service in both rooms. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a decent meal and friendly and reasonable prices. read more

I thought it was just a fluke when I was in Waco, TX last week and ate at Bubba's 33 for the first time. The location was good, our waiter was delightful, and the food was delicious! Now back home in Denver, I find we have one here in Aurora and there is one in Colorado Springs. Off to grab a burger on a Saturday night...fingers crossed. The location was good, our waitress (Liz) was delightful and the food was delicious! This is a trend I could get used to! The burgers are very flavorful and juicy, the Bubba sauce is a perfect blend for a burger, onion rings are crunchy, the tater tots are a nice change of pace, the shrimp was addicting, and the Apple Pie Mule was a great mix with Fireball Whiskey! am a fan of Bubbas in person been there many times but today I decided to order curbside and what a mistake that was. I'd never do that again. Not sure if on Mondays it's a different lazy chef but it was all-around and quite disappointing for our dinner. The cheese pizza was tasteless full of red sauce and barely had cheese. Didn't even enjoy getting to the crust because the slice ran out cheese. Terrible. Then my garlic knots had no garlic at all only dry bread and parmesan cheese, also Terrible. Then my garlic parmesan boneless wings had no garlic at all only parmesan. Maybe they ran out of garlic. What a disappointment dinner! Dining in that would never happen but I guess curbside u have no way to return so then it becomes a bad review. We live in a new world with covid. And I understand that restaurants are adjusting to the new normal. But restaurants need to fight to keep their customers even more than ever. My husband and I came in on a Friday evening. We were told 15 min wait. While sitting on a bench outside we saw multiple open tables near the bar and on the patio. I approached the host stand after 25 min and they still weren't ready for us. I mentioned the table outside and the host said "oh I didn't know the table was open, I guess you have it". Isn't it your job to know that? We sat down and waited 15 mins and no one greeted us. I flag a gentlemen sever down twice and he just looked at me and walked away. Finally I flagged another server down, Brent I believe. He got our order and bought drinks. We ordered food right away since we had a solid 20 mins of waiting and reading the menu. Our appetizer showed up before our drinks. They struggled to bring my second drink out and I walked up to the bar to see it just sitting in the well. We waited over 30 mins for our food. When it came out our pizza had been sitting in the window for so long the cheese was hard and it was cold. My salad had fried chicken on it and it was cold as well. The dressing had been on the salad so long it was soggy and not eatable. We sent the food back and just asked for the check. The manager came right by us and I wanted to share our experience. He looked directly at me and I tried to wave him down. He walked by us and starting bsing with a regular. We paid for our drinks of course. I was so disappointed. We just move down the street and I work in food sales. You must execute every table right now. Wasting product and revenue is such a miss in this covid world. Bubbas. The $4 margaritas are too good Amended review. We went back a week later, so excited to have found our new hang out spot, and could not have had a more opposite experience. The drinks were still cheap, but this time the glasses were only about 3/4's full and missing the alcohol. The waitress was ok, but a bit snippy. The fries were cold, stale and about half as many as the nice size portion we got the first time, but had the same amount of spicy seasoning, so were inedible this time. I ordered the amazing salmon salad I had the first time we went there, and it was terrible. Half the size now, but same amount of dressing so was soaked, didn't have the pecans that are listed in the ingredients and were so tasty last time, wilted- just terrible. I had to return it and starve. Pizza was meh. Everything we ordered was just tired this time. Manager did come by, half listened to our complaints and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer next time . Our bill was $89 bucks for our group. Like we'll risk going back read more

Our waitress was great. Mykalle did a great job of taking care of us. I believe it was her first night here and she did a very good job. The food was delicious. We had an Aloha Burger and the Hot and Spicy Chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were great. The bottom bun on the chicken sandwich was a bit soggy but overall, it was pretty delicious. I would say the service is the star here. All first time guests get a coupon for a free appetizer when they come back. They are very proud of their TVs. As someone who doesn't care about watching 3 simultaneous spots shows, it wasn't a big deal to me but, the waitress did change my TV to Chive TV, which was pretty entertaining. We visited Bubba's for the first time today for lunch. The menu had a bit of something for a lot of different tastes. We went during brunch, so there were even more options. We shared a pizza and some Mac n cheese. Both were fantastic! There is no shortage of TVs, which made football watching easy. There were things other than sports on some of the screens too, so my girlfriend appreciated that. Bubba's appears to have a family friendly vibe, but it was a Sunday afternoon and the Broncos game hadn't started yet. The service was friendly but could have been a bit quicker. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't a huge deal. It looks as though they may have been a bit short staffed, every time I saw servers and other staff, they were moving, so props for holding it together. We will be back, the menu definitely has some things we want to try. read more

Our family has enjoyed our meals every time we have been here. The service is usually great, but the last time we came in, our server must have been taking some frequent breaks because we had to flag down any server we saw to get refills on our water.
