The atmosphere was one of the best parts of the experience. The music was great, people were singing, and the whole place felt fun, relaxed, and like somewhere you genuinely want to spend time. The hostess was wonderful, and our server, Trinity, was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing, and that made the experience even better. We started with drinks at the table, and both were excellent. The Washington's Rebellion Cherry Bounce was memorable and very well done, and the house smoked old fashioned was also delicious. We then had the Roasted Brussels, and they were absolutely amazing. The combination of honey, balsamic glaze, candied pecans, and parmesan was outstanding. For the main course, I had the Powderhorn Chop, and the flavor was very good. My only critique is that it would have benefited from a stronger sear and a bit more crust on the outside. A little more Maillard reaction, that browning of proteins and sugars that creates deeper savory complexity, would have elevated it even further. We also had a salmon special that evening, and that was outstanding. Dessert was another highlight, especially the warm pecan bourbon pie with ice cream, which was absolutely delicious. Service was a major strength. In addition to Trinity being so warm and attentive, other staff members, including management, came by to make sure everything was going well. We also appreciated that they offer a military discount. This was our first time here, and so far it is the best restaurant we have tried in the Berkeley Springs area. We were told they are expanding, and we are already looking forward to coming back, especially if outdoor seating is added in the future. This feels like exactly the kind of place we will return to often, especially when friends come to visit.

It filled up fast, and there was a lively bar crowd, and also an engagement party celebration upstairs. All of the servers were so friendly, and happy to share their favorite dishes and beers, etc. We started with the wings, which were great, and then we had the house salad with salmon and the burger and fries. OK, I did not order the burger and fries, but my boyfriend did, and I ate half the fries on his plate, they were that good! Great, friendly, with generous pours for wine, and just a really friendly, great place with perfect food for a winter day. I wish I could find a place like this in Washington, DC.

There's a lot of potential here, but when your wagyu burger costs more than Le Diplomate's iconic burger in DC, I'm expecting something amazing. Every ingredient was very seasoned on its own, but when combined, the burger was overwhelmingly salty. I could barely taste anything besides salt. The cocktails were also overly sweet, and I regrettably had to send them back a couple of times. That said, our waiter's service was excellent. But this place needs a lot of improvement. Way too salty, too greasy, and overpriced.

You walk in a little bit more and the two bathrooms are right there right in front of you. And to the left is the dining area. There's ample seating for about 50 people and the seating is wide open. There's also outdoor seating on their deck as well. The food fair is American food. They have good things like the Reuben. They're sweet potato fries to die for and a whole sleeve of other things. There's saloon doors to the dining room!!! These alone are worth visiting. Super cool. The service here was absolutely hands down amazing. Our server was super friendly and attentive. She was waiting on all the tables and one was a large party! She never once dropped the ball. Just a nice environment and relaxing space. The food is also great! We ordered mozzarella sticks, burger with fries, a Philadelphia cheesesteak with onions and sweet peppers (highly recommend), and a Rueben. Get the sweet potato fries!!! They are waffle fries and they are delicious. Ask for honey mustard for dipping. Everything was good and we didn't wait long at all for the food to come out. The menu is extensive and offers a great variety. We stopped here as we were traveling along the PA turnpike. It seems like it's a little far off, but you can jump right back in without going out of your way. This place is worth the drive. Plenty of parking and don't forget the saloon doors!!

Owner/Chef Dane stopped by our table at the end of meal and was so delightful to talk with. Not sure what was happening with staffing. It took a while to get menus and even longer to get our order put in. The waiter did check in on us to apologize for the long wait but it took over an hour to get our food. We saw other people waiting forever too and next to us, they were frustrated waiting a long time just to get their bill to pay. Another party had a woman finally flag down a waiter telling them no one has even taken their order. Where was upper management? It's not necessarily the waiters fault. Are they over-seating for short staff? The kitchen isn't keeping up with the orders, want to comp something from the bar maybe? One hours for food to come out is really disappointing. The food was good but not amazing or unique. The drink was suppose to be a blood orange old fashioned but tasted horrible so, probably not going to return for any mixed drinks. Everything was good, except for the server who was carving out the BBQ prime spare rib. The look on his face and the way he was disgustingly serving the prime rib was as if it was painfully being carved out of his own ribs. Jokes aside, he was not the right person to interact with the customer behind the counter. We lost our appetite for the prime spare ribs which was an added cost on the buffet menu.
