Super cute interior. Not a huge space but tables are spread out nicely. Awesome decor. Arrived on this quiet Wednesday before Thanksgiving to a mostly empty room. Service was friendly, the food was prepared very quick and everything was super fresh. Instant fan.

Stopped here for supper still looking for great Thai in Chester County. Some winners here and some not so much. Tom yum soup was a started for my dining partner. They enjoyed it but felt it was a little too sweet and was missing some lemon grass. We also tried the Laotian sausage. This was excellent and enjoyed - nice char, great spicing - but avoided the very spicy condiment. Sticky rice was a $3.50 up charge which I think is excessive so we passed on that. My dining partner was very pleased with the pad Thai, probably the best we have found in Chester County. I ordered the Pad Hi Ma Parn (Cashew) with chicken. I asked for not spicy - I tend to go easy when I am at a new place -I got no spice at all. The sauce was very broth. Vegetables although very fresh were not even close to crisp tender - almost raw - and the chicken was almost nonexistent. The dining room was pleasant; music was of the elevator kind and seemed to play over and over again. The waiter was fine but had limited facility of English so we just punted in a few cases. The crowd at 7 PM on a weekday was grayer than most.

Delicious! The drunken noodles was particularly delicious, and I appreciate that it wasn't very greasy. Each dish had a unique flavor profile that complemented the neighboring dishes that were crafted to perfection. We ended the night with mango sticky rice. A delicacy that was like a cherry on top. Service was courteous, and overall, the dining experience was lowkey fancy. I could tell the other guests in the restaurant are regulars, and I understand why.

    Basil chicken Fried Rice

Looked up the place in Yelp and wanted to order take out from Bualoy. Called and ordered Thai basil chicken Fried Rice, ordering process was easy and simple. Got a confirmation order that will be ready in 15 minutes. The place is in Lancaster Ave, and it is not easy to enter if you are on opposite lane. There are plenty of parking spots back and some in front. The food was ready as I walked in and was nicely packed with spoon, fork and napkin. They even offered hit oil, which was cool. Coming to the food, as I opened the box, the fried rice had nice flavor and tasted so fresh. The quantity was so filling for a lunch and big kudos for that. The vegetables mixed along with chicken were at the right balance, and basil flavor was oedfectly infused into the rice as well as chicken. The taste was delicious even without adding the hot oil, but the hot oil kicked it to the next level. If you are around, try this place, and wypu will be happy. The price I felt was a little on the high side but worth the quantity of rice and taste !!!

    Crisp and delicious!

Tried again recently. Ordered at lunchtime on the weekend. Totally on point! Prompt. Generous portions. Pad thai and curry properly cooked and well-seasoned with balanced flavors and sufficient heat (you can choose from non-spicy, mild, medium, hot and Thai hot). For those who want it, there is a vegetarian option for Pad Thai and the various curries you can order. Chicken wings w sweet Thai chili sauce a real winner. Can't give the place any better compliment other than that the food is overall quite yummy!

I used to frequent Poseidon--mostly for lunch, sometimes for dinner, and a few times for takeout…read more One evening in the summer, I stopped in to order takeout. The young woman at the desk was engaged in a conversation with her friend. Both were about 17-19. I stood patiently waiting for quite a while. Finally I spoke up and said "May I see the takeout menu?" She handed one to me, and went back to her conversation. The "friend" sneered at me and moved so that she was blocking me from the register. I couldn't believe it. After a while I looked at the employee and finally said "Oh hey, I am ready to order." She glanced up and nodded. But went back to listening to her "friend." At this point I walked up to the register and said "Excuse me but I'd like to order." The "friend" GLARED at me, spitting venom from every pore. Then she launched into a TIRADE. I ignored her and placed my order. I won't lie though, I was fn shaking. Here I am, a middle-aged woman who's endured some trauma and BS in my life and come out on the other side, and this nasty little B is taking me on?! She continued to glare at me the entire time I was there waiting for my food, up to and including when I walked out the door. It was APPALLING. How no one got involved is just disgusting. I spoke to an employee and asked for the manager/owner. She said they weren't there. I left my name and number and asked for a call back. Heard nothing. The food is OK--not worth abuse. I never went back to Poseidon.

Spice is a good local option for lunch or dinner in Newtown Square. We've been a few times now,…read moreand stopped by last night for dinner. We got: -Samosa Chat: We usually start with this when we're here, and for good reason: it's always a great appetizer. The mixture of flavors and textures is really nice. -Tulip Dumplings: This was my first time trying this dish at Spice. The filling texture was kind of dry and off-putting, and I didn't really taste any of the promsied shrimp or crabmeat. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I personally would not order these again. -Cauliflower Bezule: Another first time ordering this here, but it was the opposite of my dumpling experience. This cauliflower was delicious! It was super crispy, and bathed in a really rich and savory coconut sauce. This is an app I would get again. -Lamb Korma: The lamb was cooked well and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. One note: We ordered this with a "medium" spice level and it didn't have any heat whatsoever. I would have appreciated some heat to balance out the weetness of the sauce. Service here is always good; the waitstaff is so nice! They also are quick to make drink refill rounds and clear away any empty plates. I also like Spice for having both Indian and Thai menus to choose from. Makes it easier when groups want different cuisines for dinner.
