I found this little spot tucked away on Rt. 30 in Berwyn. I ordered the Laotian sausage, Pad Thai and Thai wings. The sausage was delicious and had a little heat to them. The pad thai was also quite good. This being said, I was in the mood for a curry. So I ignored, at my own peril, the bad reviews of the curry. Here's how it went down.... I ordered the red curry (my favorite). It smelled like a good curry but it was watery. The portion was also smaller than some of the other curries that I had. However, the curry consisted of undercooked vegetables. Mostly carrots and bamboo shoots. Rock hard and tasteless! Either fire the chef, get a new recipe or just take them off of the menu. read more

Excellent!!! This place is the real deal. The flavors have a complexity that makes it clear they are cooking it in an authentic style rather than just simplifying it the way many Thai restaurants do. And an extra bonus is that in addition to the more common Thai food they also have Laotian food. The Laotian sausage and the larb gai salad were exceptional. read more

After reading many Yelp reviews that highly recommended this restaurant it was a no brainer to come and try it out since it is close to my neighborhood. This place delivered above our expectations. We were a little worried when we initially arrived because there was not many diners, but after being there a half hour the tables did start filling in. I believe this place is a BYOB but we did not bring a bottle to confirm. For starters we shared the Pork Satay; they were very flavorful and not dry. Definitely would recommend as a starter to share between 2 people. For my meal I ordered the Seafood HotPot: Shrimp, Salmon fillet, mussels, squid in galangal, lemon grass and coconut milk broth. I was not super hungry and this was a perfect portion. The salmon was excellent and there was plenty of all the other seafood additions. It came with a side of rice to help fill the belly a little more. Although it was not huge it was still too much for me and I probably left a little broth behind. This place is definitely one to try in the Devon area. There are plenty of items on the menu for everyone to find a favorite dish. read more

We ordered pick up last night and were thrilled with this gem. Every dish was terrific. We ordered the seafood Pot "hot" on their spicy scale and it was just that. Careful for those that don't like spice you must oreder mild. The dumplings and Drunkin noodles with beef were awesome. The vegetables and fish in the Hot Pot were all fresh and everything was delicious. The food is terrific and I can not wait to order again. I only wish they delivered. Very disappointing. Used to be better. Ordered one dish -- Drunken Noodles -- with beef and extra veggies for takeout. Surprise! No beef, or any protein, when I got home. Also a greasy, fishy, bland flavor in the now-vegetarian meal I received. Not appetizing. Wasn't a busy night -- I was the only person picking up when I arrived. We loved it!! Our first time here. We got a fried rice dish, soup, and to start we had the pork skewers. Everything was beyond our expectations. There is something on the menu for literally everyone! The sauces were full of flavor, nothing was lacking. The portions were really big. The service was excellent and the parking lot was weird, but I felt safe driving in it. This is a very elegant restaurant and it has quickly reached our short list of local favorites to add to the regular rotation! LOVED it! read more

Came here during a short visit to the area. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was fresh and delicious. We had the papaya salad, green curry, and pad Thai. The spring rolls were a little soggy but the rest of the meal exceeded expectations for a little restaurant in a strip mall in suburban Pennsylvania. This is a good restaurant in Devon, with amazing taste, and portion size. Do not miss the Nam Khao rice salad, homemade Laotian sausage, jaew is very spicy but tasty and addictive - can be paired well with the tofu triangle appetizer. Other dishes are nice too. I ordered the Nam Khao Salad (crispy rice salad with sweet chili sauce) and Yum Woonsen Salad (glass noodle salad with chili lime dressing), and they were very flavorful and just yum yum good. This place is a I-ate-there-2-days-in-a-row good. The second time I went, I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken for my 2-year-old daughter. She loves it so much, she even ate (in fact, insisted on eating) her broccoli. My husband wasn't very hungry when we went, so he ordered the Veggie Medley and ended up finishing his dish cause it was so good. This place is great! Also, the staff was really nice and brought out an organic apple juice box for my little one. I highly recommend this place! read more

Just attended the Grand Opening and everything we sampled like the chicken curry, Thai chili wings, Thai tea, vegetable fried rice and the sticky rice was absolutely delicious. We decided to order some things from the menu and the spring rolls and drunkin noodles were just as good. The staff were so friendly and attentive. So happy to have this restaurant nearby. read more

I know times are tough right now during the COVID19 situation, but this place deserves your time/money if you are getting takeout. They are offering curb-side takeout as well via their online ordering system. While this Thai/Laotian restaurant replaced another Thai restaurant in the same location, I can assure you its completely different menu/ownership, the grandmother cooking/running the place where you waited hours for your meal is no longer there Whereas a lot of Asian places have pre-made dumplings from somewhere and then sauce/season them up, the made-from-scratch Bualoy Dumplings and their regular dumplings are to die for. If you must get one kind of dumpling, get the Bualoy Dumplings with its tasty curry sauce (and I typically hate curry sauce). If you can, get both types of dumplings, trust me they won't last long. All their sauces (especially the curry sauce) has a bit of bite on the spice scale, but not to the point where the spice overpowers the flavor of any dish or dumpling. Everything there is cooked FRESH from what I can tell and after 5+ visits, I am always impressed how it tastes. read more

We have never eaten inside but get take out often. (Love that they use recyclable containers rather than styrofoam.) Service is always wonderful and the food is consistently delicious. We get a wide variety of things to accommodate our kids. I love the sausage with Laotian pepper sauce. What always impresses me is the freshness of the veggies. This place replaced Mongkon, which was decent food but slow service. Bualoy has definitely elevated the place a notch, with better food, better service, and a nicer ambience. We had the special chicken. I've had a lot of papaya salad in my day, and this is definitely legit with flavors balanced well. Penang curry was ok. Crispy rice was good, so was the sticky rice. Pad Thai was probably the best I ever had. The satay beef was decent. The Laotian sausage appetizer was soooo good and so was the spicy sauce that came with it. Will definitely be back read more

Tired from the park and we were starving. Drive by this place couple of times and decided to give it a try for takeout. Ordered couple of things, chili wings, papaya salad, thai fried rice, flank steak and the blanket shrimp rolls. Oh and the Thai ice tea! It was perfect not too sweet just how I like it. The food has so much flavor especially the Thai fried rice with shrimp. Oh my! For the chili wings I wished it was more on the crispy side and less sweet sauce I think that's what made it soggy. Charming setup in a strip mall on Route 30. Friendly staff and tasty food. Service was a bit slow on a packed Friday night, but not enough to take away a star. It's a small establishment and the wait was worth it. Reasonable prices for good food. read more

We're upset that it takes us so long to found the place, because everything was so good!!!!! The place is nice and clean. Staffs are super friendly and the foods are beyond expectation!! Our favorites were the homemade sausage, and the coconut puddings. There are so many choices on the menu and we will definitely come back to try more of them read more

Three of us went to dinner there on Saturday night at 6pm. 1- The food is amazing! We had Pad, Pho and Lo Mein. All was outstanding. 2- The service was good until they had a large party sit down. There were only 2 waitresses. Literally a table sat down, and after no one coming to their table for 10+ minutes they walked out. It looked like take out was waiting longer as well. 3- Blinds need to be installed. There are 3 tables along the window and when the sun is going down the sun and heat are brutal! I had to get up it was so bad. Hopefully they will work out #2 & #3 because I loved the food. read more

We were a party of 7 for dinner on Sun. Not even full but stuck all 7 of us in a small long narrow table, rubbing elbows! Didnt even have enough table space for all the dinnerware and glasses as we BYO wine as well. The tom yam gong soup was tasteless, just salty water with shrimp, lacking the flavor of all the main ingredients like lemongrass, lime leaves etc. Green curry pork was watery and lacking the creaminess of coconut milk. Fortunately, the Basil duck was fresh and crispy although a bit bland. Pad Thai was quite flavorful. The Laotian sausage was prob the main dish of the night. Wanted to order the mango sticky rice but was told no mangoes. Next choice was Fried banana but was told no coconut ice cream. Overall, wasnt too impressed with this new Thai/Laos rest. Previous Mayuree was much better and had better Thai flavors to its dishes. read more

One of the worst places on the main line to order from. Everything from this experience was a disaster, start to finish. We called in to place a carry out order and I had to speak to 3 different people to get my order correct. Not only was the language barrier hard to understand but the tone from employees was rude and short. When we picked up our order and came home we saw none of the containers were filled up properly. All of them were half empty. This food was ordered to serve guests at my house and half of the people were not able to eat. I called to let the management know and they were not apologetic. The woman on the phone was rude and not willing to accept they would ever make such a mistake. She eventually hung up on me mid conversation. I'll never go back here and am shocked at the lack of customer service this business practices. read more
