After receiving the new prescription, we paid $484 (with insurance) for glasses that turned out to be unusable. My husband cannot see clearly with them and actually sees much better with his old glasses. At the follow-up appointment, we explained the issue but were told, "this is the best we can do." No meaningful solution was offered, and we were later given the same prescription as the old glasses. We were also informed that no refund is possible. As retirees on a fixed income, this is a significant loss for us. The only positive part of this experience was Alicia in the optical department, who truly tried to help and was very professional. Sadly, due to how this was handled, we cannot recommend this location

I love the entire staff and have always had the absolute best experiences I was so nervous when Dr. Maynard retired, but Dr. Heffelfinger has continued to give excellent care to us and any nervousness I had about him retiring has vanished. It is all in Dallas. The final notice came without my receiving any statement or billing or service information, either by mail or email. They added insult to injury when they sent an email wishing me Happy Birthday. So, no advance notice of any amount due, and no list of services provided prior to the late notice. I was told that everything is handled by corporate. What happened to the old medical practices where they were responsive to their patients? Is it all to the point of major corporations?
