We were greeted like no other this morning. Energy, excitement and passion encouraged us as we ordered brunch for the house. Extra points for hosting such a clean establishment The entire family enjoyed their meals so that's always a plus. If you're in the area and looking for comfort food that doesn't take all day then stop in!
Bruxie is good, it could even be considered great if not for the one barrier of the pricing which seems high for what it is. I feel the chicken and waffles needs to be cheaper or the quantity meeds to be modified from the 1 waffle and 2 chicken strips at the current price should be priced at $10-12... or $15-20 if it was either 2 waffles and 2 chicken strips... OR... 1 waffle and 4 chicken strips. Parking at this shopping complex is outdoors and often challenging because it's small and popular, bit there's adjacent covered parking lots and alternate free parking areas walking distance not many are aware of. The waffle is a nice thick Belgian waffle style. The chicken is tender and tasty. More food quantity or lower the prices is my recommendation for the success of Bruxie and expansion (I first tried the location in Irvine at the South Coast Plaza and enjoyed that a lot, a few years ago)
OMGOSH the nicest guy Wadia and best cook Michelle had me loving ever bit of my food! I can't tell you when's the last time I sat down and enjoyed every bite I took! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Wadia his so nice and polite we completely changed outlet minds of walking next door his energy just pulled us in! , Our food was so good Michelle was back there cooking everything with Love! The tables are all clean after a few min we seen the young Supervisor come out and wipe down everything even the outside of the trash cans! She was super pretty but I forgot to get her name! The prices are very reasonable! We'll definitely be back
I have gotten the breakfast burrito, the salad, and the tenders, I like the tenders the most but I loved them all. The service is good they serve you pretty fast. The ambiance is pretty nice not a date setting but it's clean.
We stopped here for a morning breakfast on a Monday and it was nice and quiet and clean in the restaurant. We ordered 4 fried chicken breakfast burritos. They were great and different from usual breakfast burritos, especially because it's fried chicken. Great quality and service. The manager was really nice and accommodating. I enjoyed the green salsa and the chipotle sauce they gave to free with it as well. If they stuffed the burritos more I would order again for sure.
4 stars Came here for a late lunch and thought the food was excellent. This is what we ordered: The Original ($13.50): fried chicken breast sandwiched in a waffle with chili honey, and coleslaw. Fried chicken was crunchy and juicy. Chili honey had a lovely balance and went well with the waffle. 4.5/5 stars Breakfast Burrito ($12): portion was huge. It was pretty tasty, but the creamy sauce was a little too salty for me and mom. 4/5 stars Chili tots ($6 combo add-on): it's pretty good, but original might be the better option. I didn't think the chili sprinkles were needed. 4/5 stars Service was good, interior was clean, and food was tasty.
I'd wanted to visit Bruxie for months. The parking lot made me want to change my mind. However I finally found a parking spot. I was greeted with a warm hello as soon as I entered the building. I wanted to try the chicken salad, everything else looked so good. I finally made my choice. I ordered the chicken salad with extra chicken. I sat inside, but there was outdoor seating available. The salad was good, 7/10. I probably should've gotten the grilled chicken salad. The fried chicken was breaded too heavy for my liking. It was flavorful though. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. The restrooms were unisex.
Visiting the area and we needed a nice casual lunch. This place was across from our hotel. The staff are super friendly. The chicken has a unique flavor and our salad was very fresh. We couldn't finish everything and took some back for a late night snack. There is an outdoor area and inside. Only thing is the indoor music is so loud it makes it hard to talk. No biggie.
This is my second review. I was visiting family for few days and my daughter asked where I wanted to dine. "Bruxie's" was my instant reply. So, this experience: So all three of us ordered the chicken tenders and waffles. I can only tell my first bite of their waffle was nearly a religious experience. The exterior has this delicate shattering flavorful crust. Inside the crust is a fluffy almost pancake like core tastes of sweet cream and vanilla. The tenders were HUGE. Split chicken breast white meat covered in a crispy-crunchy savory crust with mild peppery heat. They were perfect. Service was friendly, helpful and accurate. The interior has a modern industrial chic. I highly recommend Bruxie's. No pictures this trip, I dove into my platter like a seabird.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the friendly, attentive staff, crispy chicken and waffles, and a clean, inviting atmosphere.

Why was it kinda fire? I wish it was closer to $10 and not $15...but it was gas. Definitely fattening and delicious. The cold slaw cut through the oiliness and the waffle was super airy and crunchy. read more

Drove all the way from Phoenix to try this spot. JK lol we are on vacation in Southern California and came across Bruxie, let me tell you so delicious! we had the burger with a waffle bun and a side of tender bites. First the burger, delicious perfectly cooked and the waffle "bun" was thin so it didn't overpower the sandwich. Amazing 10/10. Second the tender bites, perfect portions not over breaded and simply yummy. 10/10 The strawberry lemonade was a nice touch. 10/10 The staff were friendly and helped us order since we've never been here. Whenever we are in the area again we will definitely stop by again. read more

Many moons ago I ventured into Roscoe's Chicken 'N Waffles in Hollywood and walked away thinking 'that was different!'. Well, I've always been curious to see if someone can top that experience and I've found it. Bruxie's chicken and waffle item is a stunner-- crispy (not greasy) chicken, fresh cole slaw, wedged in a crispy (not oily) waffle dripping in chili honey-- wow! It was very tasty, full of flavor and crunchiness. The staff was very friendly and I got my meal lickety split. So I'll definitely be back to try more chicken possibilities. I was excited when they opened up a Bruxie in the South Bay! I went on a Saturday morning and found parking very easily, but I know the plaza can get a bit crowded later in the day as there are a lot of other food spots in the same plaza. Everyone there was really friendly and it was a nice and casual spot to grab some breakfast. Loaded Spiced Tots - 3/5! They meant it when they said these were going to be loaded! Personally, I think there was too much cheese sauce and sour cream on the tater tots. Even with the bacon on the side, the toppings buried the tater tots and made it really heavy to eat. The portion size was generous and easily a shareable entrée for a party of 2-3. Lemon Cream and Berries Waffle - 4/5! The waffle was light, crispy, and delicious! However, the lemon custard spread that they put on it was a little too sour for my liking. The berries in the waffle helped with the sourness and I loved the waffle that came with it. I would want to come back and try more of their other waffle options as the waffle itself was delicious. It's also right next door to Phil's Coffee and Randy's Donut if you ever needed a little something extra to satisfy the sweet tooth! read more
Came during an off peak time for late lunch. We were greeted immediately by an employee behind the counter who was super nice and helpful. As I said we were there off peak so the dining room was pretty empty and quiet save for the TV showing the latest sporting event. I've been to the Orange location which is outside seating so this dining room was a welcome difference. I went for a classic sandwich and was not disappointed. Crisp waffle, crispier chicken drizzled with honey...delicious. So glad there are fun lunch spots popping up like this in El Segundo! read more
Ambiance: It's pretty much what you'd expect inside from a trendy chicken place. This place had a bar, which I thought was a cool twist. Subtle but intentional decor high top and table seats. I love a naturally lit place with high/big windows! Service: You order at the counter before you sit. I was helped by a very kind cashier who was patient and made great suggestions. When my food was ready, they actually brought it to my seat (normal practice is to pick up at the pick-up stand), which I appreciated. Food: I don't usually expect much from chicken places because you can't do too much wrong with chicken tenders. But this place surprised me with how good it was. I'm a fry girl, but the sandwich was the winner. I'm glad I ended up with this choice, It was filling, and the flavors complimented each other. Glad to have a Bruxie in the South Bay. El Segundo is the perfect place, sandwiched between two other neighborhood faves Randy's and Shake Shack. I'm a big fan of the chicken and waffles. The chicken is a boneless fillet and is seasoned well! The waffle is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I like to add strawberries and whipped cream to my waffle order. I usually get my order to go but the dining room is cozy and inviting. The service is helpful and must be used to indecisive customers lol. The wait time is reasonable. Additionally, this location appears to have a Happy Hour. read more

My friend took me to Bruxie's for the first time and overall it was pretty solid! I got the original waffle chicken sandwich and for only $13, it was very worth it! The sandwich was huge and very tasty. The chicken was both cooked and fried very well and the chili honey with the slaw complemented everything else. The waffle itself tasted great too and I really enjoyed the overall unique concept of the sandwich. I don't normally eat chicken and waffles as much as I'd like but I honestly might start to after this experience! Please open a location in the Bay Area!! You guys will do so well there! read more
Review for Bruxie - 2181 Rosecrans Ave Had a great experience at Bruxie! The chicken sandwich was solid--crispy, juicy, and paired nicely with pickles and sauce. The crinkle fries were crunchy and fresh, which made the meal even better. What really stood out, though, was the amazing service. Amir, the kid at the front, not only helped me pick what to order but also hit me with some deep philosophy while I was deciding. I didn't expect a side of wisdom with my sandwich, but it was definitely a highlight. Great spot for good food and stellar staff. I'll be coming back! read more

Let's start by saying I have been a Bruxie fan since the original stand near Chapman College in OC when you grabbed your Sammie and ate in the parking lot. I love this new restaurant too with ample space to dine solo or bring a crowd. It is a great place to grab a quick meal or linger with your buds. All is freshly made with quality ingredients. I love the crispy crunchy waffles which hold up to the fillings, the delicious handmade shakes which seem a tad bit healthier with fresh fruit additions and cold brews with seasonal creams at just 4 to 6 dollars. Their beer selection is commendable too! Every employee wears a happy face and helpful demeanor. Service is fast and efficient. 5 stars for Bruxie! read more

Food was amazing and much better than I expected. Waffles were fun with cool little bottles of syrup. The egg and bacon were prepared perfectly too. The staff were also beyond sweet and nice... they even offered me a complimentary cold brew because I was a Veteran. I will be back soon! read more

Had a craving for fried chicken so we popped in to Bruxie for a quick mid-week lunch. Ordered at the counter from a very nice and helpful server who also delivered our food and beer to the table for us. The fried chicken sandwiches are truly made from full sized chicken tenders (as it was way bigger than the bun it was in). Seasoned nicely. Waffle fries were good too - and those are definitely tough to find in the South Bay. Kiddo gave high marks to the waffle as well...but she is always excited to find restaurants that serve all day breakfast. Self serve soda fountain had both sweet and unsweetened teas as well as lemonade and the usual soda selections. Cute place. read more

Needed a quick breakfast and stopped at Bruxie. Can't quite remember the name of what I ordered but it was their all day breakfast item. Honestly wasn't sure how to eat it. It was a waffle, chicken tender, and over-easy egg. The meal in general was more greasy than I was expecting. I had never been to a Bruxie but I expected more. I also got a cold brew coffee that was average. Would be interested to come back for lunch read more

Bruxie has landed at Apollo Landing! A few months ago I spotted the sign on Rosecrans Ave that Bruxie would be opening here and I've been eagerly awaiting since. I've been to Bruxie many years ago at their Orange location and have been a fan since! Today was the day that Bruxie had their grand opening! The folks working there were friendly and efficient and lines moved fast. I chose to get their Holy Chicken as well as their Creme Brûlée and Strawberries. For drinks; I got to try their Strawberry Lemonade as well as their Iced Coffee. Wow! Both dishes were delightful! The portion size are big and perfect for sharing. The Holy Chicken was $14 and well worth the price. It had a giant piece of maple glazed chicken along with applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha Mayo and a sunny side up egg. Can we say winner winner chicken dinner? The chicken was nice and crisp! The egg, bacon, sriracha mayo perfectly compliment the chicken. I loved this waffle sandwich and will definitely get this again. The Creme Brûlée and Strawberries made for a nice dessert! It had the perfect sweetness to it and was not to heavy. This one was only $8 and was quite the treat! Drinkwise; I enjoyed both the Strawberry Lemonade and Iced Coffee. Both drinks were all you can drink. I'm definitely even more of a fan of Bruxie now. I enjoyed their food years ago and now that they're local; I am sure I will be enjoying more of their amazing dishes. read more
07/2/2023 Holy Chicken, Batman!! This is better than Roscoe's. Fight me on this and tell me I'm crazy. You want to make the comparison, waffle for waffle, chicken for chicken? Maple syrup to maple syrup, because this one is spicy maple syrup and there is sriracha mayo. Maybe it was a good night for me on the spice level. I know I was definitely hungry. I asked about the spicy tots versus the regular tots that I ordered and Tait said it's like Cajun seasoning but quite as spicy. I thought it was like those red chili flakes you put on pizza but half the heat and more of a smokey kind of taste. I should have asked for more dipping sauce. I like to share my tots unlike that guy in that movie stuffing his pockets with tots. I think this is a great addition to Apollo Landing and good healthy competition being right next door to Shake Shack. I may have shot myself in the foot for sharing the Grand Opening Celebration that I saw advertised. I thought it was this Friday, like today. I'll just come back next week for a beer and another Holy Chicken. They should rename it to "Better Than Roscoe's". They could rename it to Tim's Combo. Who's going to join me for the celebration? read more

Honestly, I didn't know I was going to like this place as much as I did. A coworker of mine, and I came here on a whim because we couldn't really figure out what we wanted and spotted this place from the road. I think I might've gone to the Orange County location a long time ago but I'm not really sure. This place definitely had a new store opening feel. We were greeted enthusiastically and you can kind of tell that they were working out some kinks if any and there seemed like there was a traveling manager there doing some operational quality control. This place has a fun vibe to it. Great for work lunches and probably on the weekend as well. As for the actual food, I thought it was fantastic. The chicken was really well done with the great crisp and great seasoning. The waffle and the tots were also perfectly crispy. Everything was just really well done. It was a lot of food for a meal so I took half of it back to the office. I reheated the leftovers later in a microwave and everything was seriously still crispy. Like surprisingly almost fresh crispy. It is kind of pricey, but like I said you get a lot of food. I ended up paying a little over $20 for a meal, but you split that into two meals haha. I definitely would come back and I recommend. read more

Food was delicious and satisfying. We ordered loaded waffle fries, chicken and waffles, buttermilk fried chicken salad, Nutella and banana waffle, cold brew lavender and vanilla, Oreo shake. Everything was so delicious! The waffles here are perfection - the right amount of crisp, creamy and tasty. Service was good - attentive and gave good recommendations. Ambiance was bright and airy. Good amount of space for families or small groups. We will be back. Happy we found a delicious waffle spot! Will have to come try the other menu items. read more

Burrito was pretty good especially with the sauce and I'm not usually a saucy person but it added a kick to the burrito. Service was good, food is made to order so there was a wait but not long. And ambiance is fairly clean... except the table I sat at had some leftover waffle pieces at the end of the table. Ample parking with other establishments. Noise level isn't bad... music playing and people enjoying their food. I'd come back again to try other items on their menu. read more
Update: I've been a loyal Bruxie customer for a long time, often ordering weekly. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has been incredibly disappointing. I placed an order through the Bruxie app, and when it arrived via DoorDash, it was missing drinks and a chicken tender. I immediately contacted the store, only to be told I needed to dispute it with DoorDash. After following up with DoorDash, they informed me there was no way to refund the missing items and advised me to call the store again. This frustrating back-and-forth left me without a resolution. As much as I love Bruxie, this level of customer service, from both the store and DoorDash, has left me no choice but to reconsider ordering again. A great product can't make up for poor service, and this experience has unfortunately soured what was once my favorite spot. read more
Such a great addition to the South Bay! This is a great spot to check out. They have great waffles, the chicken has their own unique spices. Even their buttermilk fried chicken salad is delicious! And, you can get it with grilled chicken! The avocados they add to it are at perfection too. Just right, no brown spots. The staff who work here are so nice! Every single one of them! They have free parking in their lot shared with other restaurants like Tender Greens and Shake Shack as well as Philz and Randy's Donuts. But there are also nearby free parking lot structures too. read more
One of my go to spots near my work. I don't know what it is about this place as in the end, its a little pricey. I guess I'll just say its comfort food for me as it just hits the spot. The Original is the way to go. Just the combination of the nice thin crispy waffle, the slaw and the spicy honey.... it makes the perfect combination, its delicious and so satisfying. Also I get the tots over the waffle fries, Both are good but the tots just have that extra crisp to it and a bit more flavorful. Had to try the fried pickles as I saw it on the chalk board cause I love fried pickles. This was a loss, I did not like these at all, most of the pieces where sliced too thick, close to a half inch thick I would say. Needs to be way thinner as the pickle to batter ratio has to be perfect. The batter was also falling off the pickle, leaving the pickle naked while you where eating it. Also be careful because that pickle juice is hot when it first comes to your table. The service here is great, everyone is so nice and the food comes quick. read more

Love this spot. I first heard about it from Good Day LA and bookmarked it to try. While out on a rainy day I happened to pass by and decided to stop in. Free parking lot but tight. It's in an area with other food and beverage spots but is easy to find. I walked in and felt very welcome. The menu is located on the wall and clear to understand. I ordered the original fried chicken + waffle sandwich which comes with cold slaw. The ambitious was great and loved the space. If you want an adult beverage they have win and their signature beer. The service was 100% with winner customer service. The food came out pretty fast and it was served hot. My sandwich was served like a taco and has its own stand to sit up. I separated the chicken, slaw, and waffle. The waffle was light and the chicken had a sweet honey crispy taste. I loved how tvr slaw balanced the heat and sweet flavors. For sure I will be back for other items to taste. read more

DELICIOUS options with the perfect pairing of chicken and egg. They have such good prices and deals too. Got a 2 for 1 sandwich deal and ate so good. Portions are delectable and will fill you up. The place itself has a nice sports bar like atmosphere and it's very pretty. Highly recommend read more

I placed a to go order, so I wasn't able to enjoy the dining area. However it's really tidy and spacious. The young lady who took my order was really nice and offered me water while I waited for my order. The food wasn't my absolute favorite, because it was bit cold and it just didn't feel memorable. The packaging was absolutely cute though. But I was craving something breakfast related, so this did fulfill me at the moment. Would I choose to try again and give it another chance, maybe. Though it isn't something i'd constantly crave. Still enjoyed it!! I recommend to still try! read more

I'll be honest, I'm not sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews. The staff is fantastic. Each time I have been here, they have been super friendly, willing to help with suggestions and do a great job of explaining the menu. The staff, in a vacuum, is 5/5 stars. Then we get to the food. The menu LOOKS and SOUNDS amazing. It's like all day brunch with their chicken and waffle varieties and you can choose to get chicken entrees or waffle entrees on their own. I have had one of their waffle chicken sandwhiches that came with Nashville chicken and a fried egg placed between two waffles and syrup on the side. Sounds and looks great, but the flavor was... surprisingly average. I was expecting this dish to be bursting with flavor, but it just wasn't. The Nashville chicken was not even spicy. Like a 3/10 heat level. The waffle taste fine, but nothing more than that. I came back recently and gave this place a second try with their Nashville chicken sandwich. Sadly, still the same 3/10 spice and very average overall flavor. The waffle fries had a great, crispy texture, but were overall pretty plain. I wanted to love this place, but I don't think I will be back for a 3rd visit. If I am paying $15-$20 for a chicken sandwhich and waffle fries, then it has to be fantastic, and it is just not here. Not to mention their portions are kind of below average for what you pay. read more
I was recommended to check out this place for breakfast/brunch on my way to work one day and it was a surprisingly great treat and experience. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the entire menu, they allowed us to try samples of various items from the menu And the spicy chicken waffle sandwich was amazing! I love the runny egg and the maple syrup was phenomenal. I did not get a chance to check out some of the cocktails at the bar but I will definitely be back for their happy hour. The background music was at a good level so that you could have open conversations with others eating with you and the establishment was very clean. read more
