This dealership accepted a deposit on a car from someone else even though I'd already made an appointment to see it the next day--and even though I told them that I'd rearranged other appointments to make that possible. At no time did the dealership let me know that I had the option to offer a deposit or that someone else was offering one. I simply got a text saying that someone else had put a deposit down. Long overdue review: I purchased a Toyota Prius V from Bruns Motors September 2019. I really needed a vehicle then but was hesitant of buying from most used car dealerships because many used car dealerships buy vehicles that have extensive body damage for cheap, fix them and make a profit. You can verify this when you do research by reading the Carfax and looking at the vehicle yourself. However, this was not the case with Kendall at Bruns Motors. The Carfax on the vehicle I purchased was impeccable and maintenance was never missed by the previous owner. Thus far, everything works as it should and I am confident my car can log in many more miles as long as I keep with maintenance. I looked at the rest of the inventory Kendall has for sale and they all show impeccable maintenance by previous owner. I can truly say Kendall goes the distance when researching and hand picking cars for Bruns motors. Heck..I would trust Kendall more than any "certified pre-owned" or "multi point inspection" nonsense that dealers advertise so they can charge more. Bottom line: 9 months later after the purchase, I am extremely satisfied with my Toyota Prius I bought from Bruns motors and would buy more from them despite the mileage because they have been meticulously cared for and are accident free. I was in the market for a Lexus LS430. I saw quite a few listings on CarGurus.com, but what attracted me to Bruns was the 5 star rating on yelp, CG, and Google. The car had a little over 100k miles and was in near-perfect condition. I drove an hour and a half to go look at it and test drive it. Kendal was VERY open and honest, answering all my questions, and even offering me an OBDII scanner to prove that there were no trouble codes. The car checked out and I let him know I would be back after getting loan approval with my credit union. We got approved for the loan and picked up the car the next day with a full tank of gas for the ride home. What topped it all off was that during my initial look, I noticed the hood and trunk struts were worn out. Kendal said that he would purchase them and have them shipped to my house no charge!!
