This is one of the only fast food places my sister can have something for her specalized diet. Though there are a few things that I want to say: 1. They will deliver to you outside their "zone" but you will get an extra $1.50 charge that you will only find out about after you order through an e-mail. 2. There has been multiple times where they say they called our number to let us know something, but said they couldn't get through ... even though our phone never rang and it works perfectly fine. 3. No matter how many times we update our address, they always say we are in the wrong town confusing their drivers a ton. Grub Hub has our correct address. Wish they would fix it! 4. Their menu on Grub Hub/printed menu doesn't always have updated prices, so you get a good chance of ending up paying more for your food ... which you don't find out until after your order in an e-mail. read more

Having ate at quite a few restaurants all over this great country, I am very happy to share the following: Approach: Tucked away by itself along a darkened road, we came upon this gem, noting it's small town local Italian charm. (My experience has taught me, the more local charm on the cover, the better the food inside). And this was definitely the case here. Seating: The local charm continued inside with little league sports sponsor team pictures and awards, local news awards, etc. The dining area is simple and straight forward.(I go to eat, not to be an art critic). Greet: Again, simple and polite. Wait staff: Our waitress was new, but she was very polite and did not try to hide the fact that she didn't know something when asked, she immediately went to gather info. (I don't mind if you're not prepared, as long as you're honest about it, don't waste our time). Food: The best part!!! Garlic knots are perfectly seasoned, fluffy, and the sauce is out of this world. I had the Frutti Di Mare and it was incredibly delicious! The very best attribute to this food, all of it, it was FRESH. The desert left a little to be desired but they were out of their cheesecake (which a local said is what they are known for) soo I settled for a so-so tiramisu. Summary: Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, polite and welcoming staff, well prepared and FRESH food, great price for the portions. Definitely will return some day when we are in the area. Due to one of my twin daughters being ill today I had to cancel having my family over my house. It was late in the afternoon on a Friday but I called Bruno's to see if they could take a reservation for 9 people that evening. They were wonderful allowing me to drop off balloons, party hats and a card for my daughter. She had the most amazing time. She enjoyed her penne with vodka sauce which is her absolute favorite and won't eat it anywhere else because according to her " no one else makes it right"!!! My whole family thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Bruno's is the best restaurant in Bethlehem. Their food is amazing and the staff is wonderful. Just visiting town, called to see if I could get in they said we'll have a table for you. Local, family run - you have to walk thru the pizza pickup counter to get to the restaurant. Decent local crowd, service was very good as was the food. Calamari was a bit tough but marinara sauce was awesome! Montemonti was very good. Lighting was too bright for me and the dining room is small and a bit stark but other than that it was fine - like eating at someone's home. No bar but they do serve beer wine and liquor. We saw the parking lot was pretty packed so we thought it was a good sign. Blah. Pizza was mediocre. Pasta was not spicy, when we ordered a Fra Diavlo and the scampi dish was overpowered with garlic but the chicken was skimpy and tough. Probably won't go back again. read more

What the heck? There are only two reviews of this place before mine? That seems impossible, as this place is always crowded and has been around forever. Anyway, best pizza in the Lehigh Valley, every time. I've been here more times than I care to admit, and everything is always delicious. I personally recommend the Hot Wing Pizza, if you are into that sort of thing. Prices are normal, take out pies are ready in about 20 minutes (unless it's a football Sunday, then you will be looking at 30+,) and they have beer-to-go, which can be convenient if it's after 9 PM. Let's just say the bread was the best part of my meal and that stretching it. The eggplant Rollentini tasted like it was cooked 3 weeks prior and was just microwaved and served. the pasta was the only thing fresh about it . we had our reception here for 30 people after a funeral and I can't say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff. they made everything so easy and they were all so accommodating. I always order the square, large Sicilian pizza to-go and bring it home to my family, where we all enjoy at least 3 slices! It is by far the best Sicilian pizza in the whole Lehigh Valley- crispy crust, chewy and gooey cheeses, and Bruno's special tomato sauce. This pizza sauce is soo good that we just had to ask Bruno for his recipe (it's a family secret!) I can't speak much about the other menu options or dining in, but I can say that the pizzas here are definitely worth the (20 minute) wait! One tip I do have is to go big or go home; only order the full pizza instead of ordering a couple separate slices. The pre-cut slices that you see are quite dry, which isn't the restaurants fault, it's just that the pizza sauce soaks into the bread over time. read more

Been going here for several years and have always been happy. As of late, the food hasn't been up to their usual standard. I love ricotta, but there ricotta has a very unpleasant consistency...almost rubbery. On our last visit, we were surprised by the fact there was only 2 waitresses and it seems all of the regulars are gone. Service: It's okay for a pizzeria. Food: I've been going to Bruno's for pizza for many years. Since I grew up on good pizza in NJ, my standards for it is very high. A good pizza would never make you want to add any condiments and would taste good only while it's hot. My family considers it alarming when the pizza tastes better cold. Unfortunately, Bruno's pizza falls short on this, but it's decent for what I've had in this area. Their crust is nice and thin and they use fresh toppings (no canned mushrooms!). One of the tricky things about making pizza is putting the right amount of sauce. Bruno's doesn't skimp on this, but sometimes they get so heavy-handed that their pizza gets soggy in the middle, especially with any toppings. Another problem Bruno's have is keeping consistency in their food quality, which is common in pizzerias around here. Every now and then their pizza suffers in quality (doughy crust and too much sauce), so I go through a cycle of a few pizzerias in the area every few months. If there's anything positive to say about Bruno's, it's their margarita pizza I had recently. The crust is slightly thicker than their traditional pizza, but it was very crispy and flavorful. The balance of sauce, mozzarella, basil, and the seasoning was just perfect. I just hope it remains good forever. read more

I'll start with the positive. We came with my two very young children and the waitress was wonderfully accommodating. She was able to get them to serve my youngest plain noodles and meatballs. She was careful to not place hot plates within their reach and helped box up the uneaten portions of their food. She was great. The rest, unfortunately, wasn't. I'd say the food was average at best. The marinara sauce wasn't very good. The calzone wasn't the slightest bit memorable. The meatballs were okay, I guess. The lasagna was reported to be good. However, what killed the evening was the exit. We had wanted to use a coupon, but it turned out I had mistakenly ordered something from their daily specials and they don't let you use coupons with those. They were incredibly rude to us while they were pointing out the mistake. Honestly, we ordered a lot of food and they shouldn't have quibbled over the fact that one person out of 5 mistakenly ordered something listed on their specials. So, we didn't get to use the coupon. Fine. They won that exchange, but we shall never return. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen around here and there is no need to ever go back there. read more

So very very bad. We ate in and the only pizza was a single slice covered in rubbery canned mushrooms. Gnocchi were like lumps of flavorless play-doh. Linguini and Clams was flavorless. I went there to enjoy dinner w/ my son & grandson. The food was good, all except for the tomato sauce...it was so sweet not anything like I've tasted anywhere else. What really turned us off was the waitress who yelled everything out like she was a megaphone. She was also rushy w/ everything. What bothered me more than the megaphone waitress is that when I & my son gave our valid complaint about the loud waitress, the owner laughed about it...she knew who was loud but did not take it seriously.
