    Gluten free chicken pepper pizza
    Nikki G.

I've checked out Brunos last fall for my then fiance's birthday. I liked there were gluten free options at an Italian restaurant. I've been wanting to come back and try their gluten free pizza. My friend and I stopped out on a Tuesday night. She got the gluten free steak pizza, I got the chicken pepper pizza. She said the pizza was tasty and would go back. I thought the pizza had great flavor and brought the heat. Although they dont charge more for gluten free pizza, their prices are on the higher side for what you get. There is also a weird smell throughout the place when you first enter. Our server was friendly.

First time at Bruno's for dinner tonight. Delicious! Cute little restaurant. Warm and cozy. Friendly staff. Arancini was on the specials menu tonight. We had them as an appetizer (forgot to snap a pic). Rice balls with spinach and sausage, breaded and fried. Served with red sauce. For dinner my husband chose create your pasta. He had linguine with alfredo and grilled chicken. I had Chicken Ali-oli which was rigatoni with garlic and shaved pecorino, fresh broccoli and grilled chicken in olive oil. Both dinners came with salad and bread with dipping sauce. Portions were generous. They make their own pasta. We will go there again!

    Shrimp Aspargi

Wow this pasta was reaaaaaally really good! I got the shrimp aspargi - shrimp and asparagus in a blush sauce - it was some of the best pasta I have had in a while. I would definitely come back here for this same dish! Very large portions, good prices too! Service was okay. Ambiance is okay. But the food was amazing!!!! I'll definitely be back to try more!

I was here recently for a friend's birthday. I ordered the Buffalo Mac-N-Cheese. It was fantastic! It came with a choice of soup or salad. I ordered the manhattan clam chowder soup. It was really good. That was the best part of the experience and why I would return. The service wasn't great at all. I know they were busy but after my last friend showed up, it took the server 15 minutes to come back and get her drink order and then another 25 to ask us what we wanted to eat. She acted like she was waiting on us but we had known what we wanted for quite some time. People who had gotten there well after us had their food before we did. The server mixed up my drink and my friend's drink. The server was apologetic at one point and I said it was okay but I didn't want to be constantly ignored, like our party wasn't as important as any other table. Another server brought our separate checks but had added an 18% gratuity to each one. I had never had an automatic gratuity added, when all six of us were there. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant had a nice look and the bathrooms were nice. I wouldn't mind returning because the food was fantastic.

    Medium Chicken Wings

Stopped last Thursday for their wing night. They have lots of flavors and are doing a great job to not use seed oils in their cooking which is extremely rare to find due to their increased costs. The staff was great! Looking forward to going back and trying some other wing flavors and their pasta.

My girlfriend and I recently dined at Bruno's for the first time and wanted to share our experience. I feel Bruno's a great addition to the Lancaster community. We visited on a Saturday night around 6 PM. Reservations are available on their website, but we took our chances with a walk-in. The wait for a 2-top was about 20 minutes. The atmosphere was lively, but not super noisy. There were families dining, as well as couples, and several small groups either celebrating an occasion or watching college football at the bar. Our server Paige was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Bruno's owner is a registered dietician and has made thoughtful choices throughout the menu, including organic greens, seed-free oils, and even organic wines. Even with these health conscious choices, the prices were still quite reasonable and the food quality was excellent. We started with a couple appetizers - the garlic bites (served with a tasty homemade marinara) and the mussels diablo. Both were excellent. We were frankly surprised by the generous portion size of each appetizer. The mussels diablo in particular were a standout. The sauce lived up to its name - indeed quite spicy, but was not overpowering. The punch of heat was well balanced with savory notes of garlic and spices. The menu said the order was 1 lb, but it felt like we got more than that. For entrees, I got the Chicken Ali-Oli and my companion got the Rigatoni with red sauce. All of the pastas are homemade and they even offer a gluten-free option made in-house. The Chicken dish was quite good, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The flavors of chicken, broccoli, garlic, and cheese were all prevalent and balanced. I would say that perhaps it lacked a "wow" factor, but was a solid dish all around. My girlfriend raved about the rigatoni. The homemade pasta was delicately prepared and served with a sauce that was sweet but also carried a zesty zing. We were far too full for desserts and had to box up some of our meal. (Each entree also comes with a choice of soup or salad and complimentary bread service). As Lancaster residents, we regretted not coming to Bruno's sooner and plan to return soon. I highly recommend a visit!

I'll cut to the chase then come back around for details ... DO NOT SLEEP ON PAPA's PIZZA OVEN!…read more 10/10, food and experience, you will not be disappointed, I promise! . 1) SAUCE: They offer two standard red pizza sauces (other specialty options, but we're just talking standard for now) - if you like a sweet sauce PLEASE order here! I have no words for how delicious it is. The saucey, cheesy edges get a little carmelization from the method that they form and bake their pizza and it all comes together in this amazingly balanced , tradition Buffalo pie. 2) DOUGH: perfectly done, imo, Buffalo-style. Not too thick but not thin, cooked fast and hot and gives that slight but great char we love from the likes of OG Imperial and Bocce. But it's Papa's time NOW! The cheesy saucy edges get melty and a little charred over the perfect crusty edges and THAT is what pizza dreams are made of. 3) CHEESE: plentiful, fresh and baked to perfection with a fantastic pull. They put enough that you don't have a bite without just the right amount of cheese but not a crazy amount that is thick and loses its taste. Papa's is all about balance. ‍ 4) TOPPINGS!: ABUNDANT!! Do not wonder if you need to order double-anything to have the right amount of toppings - and by right amount I mean every bite. Pepperoni- cup & char bc Buffalo For the mushroom enthusiasts, they use a plentiful amount of the jarred 'shrooms, which I happen to think are elite on pizza bc they do not dry out. Before you send the mushroom police for me, jarred mushrooms and sautéed mushrooms (I know of only 2 places in the world that puts this on pizza as a standard) are the best on pizza, but you can try and prove me wrong. 5) Wings: a Buffalo girl's review - fresh, definitely one of the heftier sized wings, homemade blue cheese that is hella flavourful and also available by the large tub for fans like us. Their portion is large per order of wings comparatively in the area and it is DELISH. Their wing flavours are delicious- mild is very mild but incredibly tasty, Medium is a solid mild + a smidge hotter if you are wondering. The wet Cajun wings are out of this world and rival the Cajun wings at Elmo's. SO GOOD! 6) Last but not least the STAFF! I don't know anyone that works there, but they treat you like friends when you walk in the door. On the phone, the guy that most often answers is so nice, pays attention and never misses and sounds HAPPY to make your pie. We asked for extra sweet sauce via phone bc I ordered for my Mom to deliver to her and couldn't find it on Doordash, he was so kind and helpful! And he's like that EVERY TIME. It makes such a difference. The prices are good, the food is always fresh and beyond tasty and we crave this pizza .. which honestly hasn't happened in a long time. If you're looking to sit down, there are seats for pickup wait, but no dine in option at this time. Papa's Pizza Oven = Pizza Perfection for us. We hope you'll give them a try real soon! Tell them Nicole sent you. I'm proud to give them an honest and great review. 10/10, A+, Prez of Pizzas

Their pizza's are not the typical round pie, they're rectangular, taste great, look delicious and never disappoint! You get a nice crispy crust, the center dough is not too doughy, nicely charred pepperoni, their sauce is not overly sweet and the cheese is perfection. I order my wings extra crispy, they're always great, my own gripe is the price. I think their pizza and wings are the most expensive in the area.

I ordered delivery since I was in a bunch of meetings today and didn't have time to pick it up. First off, delivery was great and got here on time which was great. The box had these cool Buffalo Pizza stickers that I love. So cool! The food was great! It had been awhile since I had Picasso's so it was good to see the quality was still there since last time. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Next time I might get the thicker crust but still good! The fries were great. Crispy and salty to complete the meal. The food here is great and I think this is a pizza that should be in anyone's takeout rotation. We will definitely be back for more!

I think we tried almost every flavor, but the standouts were the Buffalo Chicken - which I would never order but it was so incredibly good and the crust is perfection. The White Pizza with the ricotta was amazing, the Pepperoni was small and crisp and so tasty and the Margarita pizza had crushed tomatoes on it which was a first but so good. I think we got 10 slices, and ended up getting 2 more slices of the Buffalo Chicken to take home - yes we ate pizza for 3 days and so worth it lol. It heated up perfectly in the oven for 10 minutes and tasted just as good as it did at the restaurant. So worth 6 hours of driving.

When you first enter, there is a phenomenal selection of specialty pies, and all are included in their two slice & soda special for $9. They offer both fountain sodas and a generous selection of refrigerated drink options also. Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. Now, the thing is, everyone likes different kinds of pizza, and apparently Brooklyn style isn't necessarily our jam, but for something we really don't like (black crust), it was still very good and we would highly recommend it to people who like more cooked pizza.
