If you're looking for bold, unforgettable flavor--this place absolutely delivers…read more We started with the macaroni balls, and they were HUGE. Crispy on the outside, golden and crunchy, with a cheesy, gooey center that tasted like true homemade mac & cheese. Already off to a strong start. Then came the chicken and waffles... and let me just say: the chicken is a 1000/5. Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned breading with juicy, tender meat inside. Every bite was packed with flavor. The waffle was soft, fluffy, buttery, and cooked just right--paired perfectly with the chicken. I also tried the gumbo (added shrimp). The flavor was definitely there, rich and well-developed with a great consistency on the roux. For me personally, it was just a tad on the salty side--but honestly, not enough to take away from the overall experience. Even the cabbage was seasoned perfectly and cooked just right--nothing on the table was bland. This is one of those spots where you can taste the care in every dish. Flavor everywhere, no shortcuts. Five stars all the way. I'll definitely be back.

Sign us up! This is a little gem that is apparently owned and run by some New Orleans raised folks, and the menu lovingly reflects those roots. Breakfast all day, and tons of other mouthwatering selections. At the recommendation of our server I ordered the Tenders and Waffles. There were so many hot, juicy and crispy tenders on a waffle sprinkled with powdered sugar and honey... and it was soooo good. The dining room was clean, the staff was on too of everything and super nice, and the food was great. We will be back!

No one would answer the phone... I was worried the establishment could be close but to my surprise when I got there, there was 2 employees there. :/ French fries were not crispy from being in the styrofoam to go container hot and was a bit soggy. The burger was well seasoned and was good but it was soggy too. They forgot to give me a drink that comes with the Elgin Cheeseburger combo and I didn't realize the missing drink until I got home which was too late. Overall, I think maybe my experience would have been different if I dined there. The inside of the establishment was super dark and blacked out. The burger was decent and was better than other places that offered burgers in town. I would order a dine in burger from here again and try other items on the menu. Maybe second time is a charm? :)

I'm not a fan of fries, yet I could have eaten this whole basket, they were AMAZING! The owner was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of! In a panic, I called Aviators, and they had my pizzas ready in just 10 minutes. Aviators is usually our go-to for pizza; I only chose Caesar's this time because feeding 20 kids isn't cheap. But after this experience, I'll gladly pay whatever Aviators charges for their incredible service and quality. My son's face absolutely lit up when he saw the Aviators box instead of the other place. I truly can't say enough great things about them!

I frequented the south austin location for a while and it was great... I was excited to eat at the…read moreElgin location today, but... first- the prices.... Wow... $30 pizzas... it's crazy... how do they stay in business? Can people really afford $30 pizzas? I waited a while to order from there to try and make it make sense financially. We are not broke by any means, but don't like to throw money away either... it's not Uchi we are talking about. Second- the staff was friendly, but I learned today that if you order gluten free without calling first, they will slice your pizza with the same slicer they slice the gluten containing pizzas with... that's not a real gluten free pizza then. I get some places won't take the full precautions but it's just common sense and the least you can do- don't cut gf pizza with a gluten containing knife! Third, the pizza quality sucked! Night and day from the austin location... my gluten free pizza and my partners regular pizza tasted stale and we got there right when they came out. Tasted like a few days old/stale/cardboard flavor... not sure how you can accomplish that, but this aviator pizza has found a way to make fresh pizza taste days old. Both pizzas were missing quite a bit of cheese (one of my slices had none)... the meat pieces on mine looked like they had been reheated like ten times today... The quality of the pizza at this location was lower than if I ordered from little Cesar's for a third of the cost... please do something about the horrendous quality of pizza at this location. I left two stars for friendly service.
