We ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken and waffles, and the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread. Before I get to the food, I want to recognize the excellent customer service. Since it was my first visit, I had quite a few questions. The employee helping us was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She walked us through all of the flight options, and let us know that everything was made fresh to order, so there would be a short wait. I appreciated the transparency, and when our food arrived I soon found out it was worth the wait. The standout for me was the grilled cheese waffle with tomato soup. The soup tasted homemade, with bright tomato flavor and generous chunks of tomato throughout. It was fresh, and absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese featured a flavorful muenster and provolone instead of the standard cheddar you find everywhere else, and the waffle itself was crispy on the outside with a perfect gooey cheese pull. My friend enjoyed the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread since I'm not a huge fan of Biscoff. I did try the strawberries and cream, though, and both were excellent. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and firm, while the cream tasted rich and homemade. The chicken and waffles were outstanding. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and the waffle had a wonderful texture: light and airy inside with a crisp exterior. It was served with syrup and a remoulade-style sauce. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully decorated with fun murals, word art and nods to Round Rock. For a first visit, Waffle Love made a fantastic impression. The next time I'm in Round Rock, I'll be ordering another waffle flight, probably the same 3 selections, just without the Biscoff spread.

Asked for my eggs over medium and they were EXACTLY perfectly cooked. Tater tots were absolutely delicious also, I recommend them 10/10. The friend I was eating with is gluten-free and dairy-free. They were able to pick from a good amount of options, and they got the avocado toast on gluten-friendly bread, no dairy, and they loved it. Atmosphere is very fun and retro, though since it is a small building, it can get pretty loud if busy. Obviously not much staff can do about that though, and crowds is a good sign for buisness! But if you're noise-sensitive, maybe request to sit away from the main room, or bring headphones. Service was very cordial, we got seated very quickly and served quickly as well! I didn't get coffee this time, but I have gotten a latte before and it was phenomenal. Overall great breakfast-for-lunch joint. My only complaint is I wish they were open later in the day for dinner too! Will definitely be coming back. Eat local!

The food is excellent--I especially like the Trio: egg, waffle, meat, which have some neat flavor combinations. The reviews on Google were mainly about the "waiting for food/service/seating " *Something told me TRY IT ANYWAYS!* The family-of-4 loaded up and drove 15 min! Upon arrival, the strip mall was clean and the Restaurant was poppin'! I was prepared to wait for host/service (& kept my mindset positive) WE WERE GREETED by the kind hostess IMMEDIATELY, & promised a table within 10 min ONLY TO BE SEATED WITHIN 7!! Yay! The space was bright & tight yet purposefully placed. the booth we sat in felt cozy, & had perfect people watching opportunities (as well as kitchen watching). The kind handsome young lad that was our waiter instantly gave down to earth and humble vibes. His quiet deep voice, dreads & baggy jeans screamed "youngster with a passion" (honestly I enjoyed his presence, he reminded me of my son) He showed up often enough, yet still gave us our family connection space! So GOOD! So so good)*** I kept warning my family "NOW REMEMBER, these are special waffles.. they have to milk the WAFFLE COW FIRST, SO PUT ON YOUR PATIENT PANTS". We ordered drinks from their seasonal menu (a must) : The Coconut Chai tea Iced! My Husband was stationed in Hawaii for most our families life, and this drink brought us back to the Islands Our food arrived HOT & fresh within 10-14minutes! Every item was superbly smothered in the sauce of choice 1st meal: eggs Benedict ! I always have to order extra hollandaise sauce: NOT TODAY!! The sauce was buttery smooth and the waffle was crisp yet soft, everything was delicious ! I needn't add a thing! 2nd meal: The BLT (-added smashed avocado) my daughter is the a BLT critic, she crafts them up, and orders them often! Her words : "wow this might as well be the best BLT I have ever tasted!!" 3rd meal: my son orders the chicken and waffles, the gravy was the star of this dish! His discovery was mixing the warm syrup with the seasoned gravy to add the perfect sweet savory concoction to every chicken and waffle bite! 4the meal: my husband was craving a classic omelette! He chose to do the build drone omelette, he put exactly what he wanted on it nothing more nothing less! And of course he chose the waffle to go! From the warm better, to the sweet syrup and everything in between from potatoes to beverages to heaven and back! WE ALL HIGHLY Highly recommend this mom-&-Pop shop! I hope this business goes far, I hope it spreads across the land! Well done! Well done!

Some of the best food comes from places your GPS forgot to brag about. The menu is HUGE, and they even had a daily special posted. Our table tackled: Tortilla Burger (whatever the official name is...
