I went to this place and the lady who did my eyebrows did a good job. The second time I came in, there were 3 people waiting and no one working. The girl came running back and said she had to grab lunch. I would suggest putting up a sign for people to come back instead of waiting. I left because I didn't want to wait. Decided to come back the next day at 6pm. Apparently they closed at 7pm, but decided to stop taking clients at 6pm. Terrible service. read more

I get it, most guys dont do threading or waxing (or won't admit it) but if you are willing to give it a chance this is the spot. I've had it done the waxing way a few times at random Asian nail salons over the years. I feel like they end up making it look too done (penciled in kinda vibe) So for us guys that check the asian/middle eastern box(or just trying to keep it clean) but dont want it to look obvious this is the spot to go. Julie is the one that has done it for me two times I've been and its been great. Plan on about 10 minutes if for the whole process if there is no wait. She is very thorough and makes it look clean. Brows Threading is a great salon! Highly recommended! Reety is wonderful at what she does, and always has such a welcoming attitude whenever I arrive to my appointments. I'm super picky about my eyebrows and barely let anyone touch them. But I'm on a trip and my eyebrows needed desperate attention, so used trusty yelp to help me find a place that would be safe to go to. I also just needed a basic clean up, so I can't vouch for if they're good to go to if you need some shaping done/have waited an extra week or so between getting threading done. But I walked away without feeling like my eyebrows were butchered and they only charge $8, so I'm a happy camper. read more

Had high hopes considering the crowd outside. You get what you pay for ($30). Shoddy work, globs of glue-some halfway down the lashes instead of at the base where lashes should attach. Now that they're coming off (which they eventually do) instead of small areas, entire chunks have fallen instead of blocks of three. Eek. If I could take them off without tearing my real lashes, I would. Individual lashes cost much more, but these clusters were sub-par. I happened to be in the Sprouts shopping center off 28th St & Indian School when I saw this threading salon doing brows for $8. I'd been meaning to try threading and I for the price and great Yelp reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong. So while I was waiting for my brother to finish his shopping, I stopped in. The shop wasn't busy, then again, it was a Thurs late afternoon. I have to say, this was a reply good experience. The pain was minimal compared to waxing and even though it takes a little longer than waxing, my brows look way better. I didn't have to wait for any swelling to go down for me to see what they REALLY look like. The threader took her time to make sure my brows looked great. I may have to go out of my way to come back here but it's worth it. read more

I come here sometimes and the two girls there do a good job, but today there was a different girl. She left my eyebrows super irritated and when she was doing my right eyebrow she pinched my left eyelid somehow. It hurt so freaking much my eye started crying. The eye lash extensions are not actual extensions. They glue individual lashes underneath your lash line very close to your eye with a lot of high duty glue. I had a bad reaction with my eyes getting red and swollen and I couldn't get the lashes off. Once they started coming off they took big chunk of my natural lashes with them because there's so much glue. Now my eyes look terrible and it was painful. So if it's extensions you want you have to be very careful knowing exactly what you're getting here. read more

Went in thinking I was going to get a good threading for my eyebrows. Since the reviews were good. Came in asking to fix my eyebrows, came out with one eyebrow thinner, and awkward position. She butchered my eyebrows making me wish I didn't go in. Told her what I thought about it, she didn't want to fix it or refund my money. As well as to my friend that came along with me. Literally just got the WORST eyelash extensions ever. My eyes have been burning all day, she used so much glue my eyelashes won't even move. I went back to have her remove them (not expecting my money back) and she said "sorry we only apply, not remove.. You can go to Wal Mart and buy stuff to remove it" so when I asked if I could at least get SOME of my money back she told me they don't issue refunds.. This is the most amazing place to get your eyebrows done. I have very thin eyebrows and they do a great job asking you what you want done and for me making my brows look and become fuller!! Seriously, this chain is great. I usually go to the Indian school location on 33rd ave and have had two separate threaders and they've been gentle and accommodating. I love this place! Very clean and wonderful welcoming staff. The girl who took care of me was adorably sweet. Her English was very good and she made small talk with me politely. I went in at 7pm not knowing it is when they close, although she did have to turn some people away after a nasty dust storm hit. It's close to where I live and the wait was only a few minutes. I personally do not find threading painful but I suppose some people could. The only thing that was uncomfortable was having to lay my head back in the chair so she could do my eyebrows. I'm 5'8 and for someone shorter this would not be an issue. Her skills at threading are well honed so the whole thing is over in no time. She did such a great job I over tipped and the sweet girl told me please no no that's too much.....:) I ignored her of course. I moved to Arizona from California had a really hard time finding a good eyebrow place. I'm really picky and have crazy thick Indian eyebrows that take a lot of skill to style. This place is great. DO NOT go to this place for lash extensions! i cannot comment on the threading but i have been wearing lash extensions for years and this is the worst ive encountered. the glue that is used is not appropriate for lashes and not to mention the lashes itself are not a good quality. i would never recommend anyone there for lashes its almost scary to think what that stuff can do to your actual eyes. read more
