I walked in and was greated immediately by a young woman threading a customers brows. She said she could help me and I waited about 5 minutes. When it was my turn she said I could sit down, however I waited because the chair had not been cleaned yet. After she cleaned it I showed her a picture of light eyelashes and specifically said I did not want a full set. She said she understood and I also pointed to a picture on the wall and said I didn't want my eyelashes to look fake and full just a light line. I got the exact opposite of the picture and what I asked for. The lashes are heavy, the glue pokes my upper lid and when I close my eyes to sleep I can feel them poking my eyes. It's been two nights and I haven't slept and I can't get them off. I have taken hot showers, applied facial soap, oil and Vaseline. They are not budging and I am uncomfortable with how they look and feel. I will never get eye lash extensions again. All I wanted was a soft fuller look and I have a thick black set. If that is what you like than go for it but maybe mention the heavy glue at the base of your lashes. This was a splurge for me at $25 plus a $5 tip. When this place first opened I i was a frequent visitor and now that I'm back my eyebrows look better than ever. Threading is not pain free but not one time during a visit was anyone heavy handed. Just moved to this side of Phoenix and decided it was too ridiculous to keep driving to Tempe for my eyebrows. Went in 45 min before closing on a Thursday. The prices are so cheap probably the cheapest I've found anywhere. I was a little nervous but once she finished my brows and lip I was so grateful. I have been going to Reety to get my lashes done for a few months now and when I tell you she is THE BEST...I mean it. After I moved to AZ from the east coast I went through 3 different eyelash techs before finding her... I am NEVER giving her up. Ok so I drove out of my way to come here on Sunday. A friend recommended it and I read the reviews so I figured let's try it out. I got in. It was empty which was great no waiting. I asked for a clean up Bc I like my brows thicker. I didn't notice until I got to work I walked passed the mirror and I looked different. One eyeBrow was trimmed shorter . My favorite part is that you can have open communication with her and if I think they're slightly off (which happened once when I decided to go to another salon and she had to worn around what brows I had left...) I usually come here to get my brows threaded cause I really trust all the women who work here and occasionally get lashes done when I'm feeling fancy but today.... Today I am shook, and I'm sorry to sound crazy, but I really am. I went in today for a normal threading and while I was there I think it was the owner noticed my eyebrows are way lighter than my hair and after probing me she knew I filled them in. She then offered to tint my eyebrows.. that's right, tint ! Which I didn't even know you could do, so I was all in and they came out so good. My eyebrow life has forever changed by a suggestion! The first time I came here my eyebrows were threaded by Reety. I appreciate how quick and precise my eyebrows were done. The only person I trust to do my eyebrows is Reety and no one else. I had them done by someone else in this location one time and it's the last time I make that mistake. I appreciate that they have pictures of all types of eyebrow shapes that way you can let them know what you are wanting to look like. It's a brilliant idea. I haven't been to a eyebrow threading location where they have pictures. I always have to bring my own. So it's great they provide that. I really hope Reety doesn't leave this place or closes down. I've had really bad luck with eyebrow technicians and now that I found the number one I don't want to loose it. Oh my gosh I almost forgot the number one thing besides Reety being the best is that they are $8 to get your eyebrows threaded. Can you believe that, $8? $8! However men's are $10. It's a bummer I did learn that on the spot when I took my son to get his first eyebrow thread. I have to admit they do have the prices on the menu. He is 12 so I was hoping they had a kids price, but they don't. One last thing is that I don't know why they don't let the customers know that they can apply aloe instead of lotion. I get asked if I want lotion and sometimes I'll say yes. The lotion just burns sometimes so I know aloe would be so much better for me. I just hate to ask if they are only giving me one option. Finally found a place that gets it right. Hiba is amazing and has helped me get my eyebrows back in shape (haha- see what I did there) after a disastrous experience. Eyebrow tinting was suggested and I LOVE it! The tint lasts 1-2 weeks depending on my workout/sweat/ facial cleansing routine. Please don't get lashes done here they use clusters and completely ruin your natural eyelashes. Very overpriced also their lash prices say they're around $35 and I ended up paying $60 for absolute trash. Also they left my brows extremely uneven. AVOID THE LASHES PLEASE. They don't wipe the seat after every customer either so you sit on other peoples sweat.. read more

I showed up early for my appointment and surprisingly she was able to fit me right in. The ambiance is nice and the quaint location is very clean. The last time I had my brows threaded here I signed up to receive discounts. Many companies send an abundance of annoying texts to notify you of discounts, however Brow Threading Salon is not overwhelming at all. They send a text out about once a month to notify you of their deals. The original prices are more than fair, so whether you request notifications or not, you're still winning. I am giving 3 stars due to my past experiences that have been great here. I have been going here for my eyebrows to be threaded for 4 years. They are always very prompt when I walk in and the service itself is always very fast and minimal pain. The girls are always very sweet and make sure I am happy with the shape. They make sure to put lotion on after as well. Today, I was greeted by a girl I've never seen before. I assumed she was new and her service confirmed. She was very rough with my skin and not only was the service itself slower than usual, but the way she was threading felt as if she was pulling each hair out one by one, pulling my skin the entire time. It was quite painful. In the process she snapped the thread against my skin three times and had to get a new one. She finally finished and allowed me to check in the mirror and there were several hairs out of place that she missed and she did not even thread the middle "uni-brow" area. Although my hairs are blonde there, it is still important to make sure that the entire area is cleaned up before sending a customer out of the door. Overall, I would definitely go here again because I normally have such a good experience, but I will not allow her to do them again. read more

They are so happy to sell you gift certificates for both nails and threading, then question and invalidate your receipts when your recipient shows up to use them. I will never come back here again. I am a male who gets their eyebrows done from time to time. I waited over 30 minutes to get my brows done because the worker was taking care of another client who happened to be a woman as well. No issue there, I had things to do but they weren't urgent so I patiently waited. When it was finally my turn, she worked on my eyebrows for a maximum of two minutes. They didn't look bad but they certainly were not the same quality I have received at other threading salons. When I went to go pay, I handed her a $20 bill. Everywhere in the facility it said $8 for eyebrows. I was handed back a $10 bill. I kindly asked "isn't it $8? I was handed back a 10". To my surprise, she responded with "It's $10 for man". I was outraged but I kept quiet and left. It was upsetting that I am being charged more for no reason other than my gender. This is evident in the fact that she took 30 minutes on a woman before me and only 2 minutes on me. The labor it took for me is significantly less! How outrageous of a sexist policy that they have. I wouldn't care if it took more labor to do males but that simply is not the case. I will be going to other salons where they charge me equally for my gender. read more
