Browns Pharmacy has been our family's Pharmacy for almost a decade; Chris, Erika, Linda, Ann, Brittney, Jacob, Adrianna (and I could go on) and the whole crew up there are knowledgeable, which is obviously important, but they truly get to know you and who you are. I know I have driven them crazy at times and they still are so kind and caring. Paul and Jesse deliver meds and are prompt and trustworthy. I can't imagine another Pharmacy as our "Family Pharmacy"; Browns is tried and true. read more

This was my second time at Brown's Pharmacy and, while I won't make it my regular pharmacy, it was a pleasant experience. (Parking alone would make this pharmacy unbearable.) I walked down from my doctor's appointment. They didn't have my prescription order yet but they do have you sign in at the pharmacy counter so they know you're waiting. I also needed an OTC medicine as well and found it here. The prices were competitive with CVS or Walgreen's. They have seats for waiting and I could not have waited longer than 10 minutes before my order was ready. Since it was a new prescription, I received a consult which I appreciated. Good pharmacy for a quick pickup of both prescriptions and OTC. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. I have gone here several times over the last 3 years. I went in today to see how much my scripts would cost without insurance. I am worried about losing my job, so I am trying to budget. Instead of helping me, the pharmacist/manager told me and the entire store that it was too early to fill my meds and it was illegal to do so. I never asked to fill them, nor did I saying anything about getting them early I simply needed a price. She made me feel like a drug addict trying to play the system. I left after she told me that changing doctors can cause problems with filling medicines. What?? The best part is that I called up there after I got home and calmed down. I got to speak to the same lady who actually yelled at me on the phone. Asked who asks for the price of medicine without wanting them filled. Umm, everyone who doesn't have insurance would be my guess. Not to mention that I explained my request to the lady who takes in the prescriptions. This was seriously the crappiest thing to happen to me at a pharmacy. Try Recept Pharmacy instead!! read more

I've been going here for YEARS. And I get Ritalyn, which is a controlled substance. I have never, ever had a problem or any issues. I've never ever seen any customer act anything except satisfied. I love this place. And FYI, my Ritalyn is about $150 CHEAPER here than at local chain pharmacies. read more

This Pharmacy is exceptional in every way. If you see a doctor in the building all you have to do is walk downstairs and your prescription is filled in 5 to 10 minutes. If they don't have something, They will get it for you and get it to you unlike any place else. They deliver to your door for a small fee and will or mail your Rx SAFELY to wherever your at. This is VALUABLE service. Ann is a delight and has helped me for years. I appreciate her kindness. I was shocked to see negative reviews! It's not Walmart and aren't we glad to have an option. For those that complain about price, please remember it's a for profit business in a costly building with many employees to pay. They are there so they can be of quick and efficient service to you. Look at GoodRx for the lowest price of an Rx if your insurance doesn't cover you here. All businesses don't have to be cut rate cheap discount Groupon's. You get what you pay for most of the time. And I'm very happy to be their customer. Of course I'm looking forward to the day when I no longer need to have a prescriptions but I'll still stop in there to get the most beautiful greeting cards I can find. If I could give negative stars I would!! WORST Customer service EVER!!!!!! Physician called in meds on Thursday, Pharmacy called Friday to confirm and advised would be ready at best Friday evening and latest Monday so today's Tuesday, I stop by to pick up... NOT EVEN THERE!!!!! And the lady was a TOTAL BITCH about it. Not my fault their sister pharmacy didn't deliver to them but man.... there's a way to deal with people. This was my first time using this pharmacy and will be my last for sure. read more

Hands down, the best pharmacy around. No, they won't fill your pain meds early, or break any other laws, but what they will do is fill your Rx's quickly (within minutes in a packed store) and accurately and explain everything you need to know! read more

If you call or go in person and ask one little question like "what's the date of this prescription" they will have to go find out like it's top secret or put you on hold. Then when they get back, even if it's a dumb answer, they take along time to resume and ask you questions like it's a brand new day. "What's your name?". If you are inquiring about a controlled substance they take extra long. Long pauses of silence.. like they are suspect. "What is the first name?" If you say "Bob or Robert" they gasp like "oooh! I started using Brown's Pharmacy a few years ago when Walgreens failed to keep one of my pain meds in stock off and on for about 2 years. Brown's has awesome customer service! They are fast, friendly, explain insurance issues and what I (the patient) need to do to rectify issues. I pick up meds for my Mom and Mother in law with no problem. If I didn't live next to a Walgreens I would transfer everything I take to Brown's! Plus, they have cool gift stuff; cards and old fashioned candy. I enjoy going to Brown's Pharmacy! Love this place! Small local pharmacy that knows me and my husband by name. They have different unique gifts to offer as well. Plus it's downstairs from my doctors office so makes it really convent to virtually sent down, called down, or walked down! Excellent pharmacy will not due business with anyone else! If i could give it a negative star i would. They have the worst lady sonya working there. She lacks customer service. First of all I needed meds filled 5 days early and they wouldnt fill it. Then when your prescription runs out she wants you to call the doctor to call in a new rx. She doesnt try to help you with any issues, instead she gives you attitude. She seems like she is unhappy with her job. She is not friendly or smiles. She is very short with your questions or concerns. If there is a problem with filling your meds dont expect for her to call you and let you know she will wait till you get there and then tell you. Take your business to another pharmacy. My adult son has medical issues for over 15 years. We have been using Brown's for many years. I have ALWAYS been happy with the service I have received there when buying his medical supplies which are not available in all pharmacies. I have NEVER encountered a "grumpy" employee. The added bonus for me is their gift shop area. I have bought many gifts there over the years at reasonable prices. They even have gift bags with tissue paper in them that are free with a purchase. They are located on the first floor of the doctor offices building next to Baylor Hospital on MacArthur & Highway 183. read more
