They weren't, and we had to wait 40 minutes for them to fill the prescriptions which is very inconvenient coming straight from the hospital, and needed to get medicine in as soon as possible read more

I LOVE to support local business and do whenever possible. However, my experience with Las Colinas Pharmacy has changed since they have moved. Poor service, long waits, excuses AND now prescription shorting. I have a compound cream that I have had filled 2x prior. It takes 3-4 days to fill. Prescription previously was filled in a smal screwtop jar. This time, filled in a white plastic tube. When I questioned it I was told they were out of jars so an tube was used instead and I was actually getting more product in the tube. When I got home, I fortunately had the old jar and filled it with what was in the tube. Guess what? It only filled the jar 2/3 full. I went back and spoke to a pharmacist and brought the jar and tube and explained to her what I was told. She took the jar and tube in the back and several minutes later came back and said they cut the tube open and got more product out AND IT WAS ALMOST 30 grams...... I paid ALMOST $70.00 for ALMOST 30 grams. WHAT? She then told me that the prescription is lasting me a long time which isn't even the point! I'll be transferring this prescription to the compounding pharmacy my dermatologist recommended. read more

I would never consider getting my prescriptions from another pharmacy. You never know exactly what you're getting or where they buy their drugs. Although it's legal, they may not be the best quality or even the exact dosage. I.e. the pharmacy that killed all of those people with bad heparin and I could list many many more examples. Even if you're getting a standard generic of blood pressure (or other medication's) you don't know the exact content of it. Receiving the wrong drug or an incorrectly compounded drug could be life-threatening. Las Colinas Pharmacy always goes over and beyond for patient care and safety. Including top quality ingredients, extensive testing, and they spent millions on state of the art compounding and testing equipment! Jim assists the Texas State Board of Pharmacy ethics and rules committee and is a blessing to the entire industry. He is frequently asked to speak in Washington and Austin to help maintain our rights to compounded drugs and bio-identical hormones. They truly care about their patients and I wouldn't trust anywhere else! read more

Drove 30 min to get an item they said they had in stock and texted me it was ready...then all of a sudden they said it was prescription only and took the item away from me after I paid. I bought exact item on Amazon while waiting in line to get my refund on the item I just bought they said was prescription only...and they literally took it away from me. It's just sterilized water. Why can I buy on Amazon with 1 click if it's prescription only???? Note to staff, you need to care a little. This is more or less a great pharmacy. However there are some employees who are very unkind and unprofessional. After completing a verbal transaction for an order, this pharmacist thought she hung the phone up. Totally trashed me with her coworker "telling her that I wanted an order filled for a particular time and who do I think I am, I have to wait in line." This was an order for my job and I kindly asked her if I can get it filled for a certain time. Aside from her being rude, I called her out and said I just heard everything you just said about me. Instead of apologizing she was more rude. Obviously she is in the wrong profession and has no people skills whatsoever. It took us two weeks to receive our order. I know it was a deliberate action. Another time I called had a question about the status of something that was ordered. She said this is the pharmacy you don't call the pharmacy about shipping status. Instead of saying let me transfer you to the shipping department where they can help. People like that can be a turn off. I hope this review reaches management and this individual can get some training on how to treat people. She failed to realize because of you and my business that's why she has a job. So with that being said be aware of this person I hope she doesn't taint the integrity of this pharmacy. read more

A highly respected MD recommended Las Colinas Pharmacy to me for a compound prescription when I came to Las Colinas in the late 80s, and I've been a fan ever since - especially for specialty items not readily available elsewhere. The staff is remarkably knowledgeable and committed to answering detailed questions by going the extra step. They're in tune with the latest advances in compounding. And when you call, they take the time to fully understand your needs rather than brushing you off, which is the case at some pharmacies. Unlike some chain pharmacies, they have strong culture created and developed by owner-founder Jim Hrncir, R.Ph. He has been recognized as one of the pioneers of modern pharmaceutical compounding. Hrncir is supported by a team of seven pharmacists. Hard to believe that many, right? But I learned more about them on the pharmacy's website, which also makes reference to Dr. Phil and his wife. But they moved to LA years back so don't expect to bunk into them if you're waiting to pick up your prescription. What can they do better? They promised me a customized eye medication they were producing on site before 6 p.m., but on three occasions it wasn't ready, so I had to wait about ten or fifteen minutes. Not a big deal. Considering the significant value Las Colinas Pharmacy delivers to me, I recommend Las Colinas Pharmacy and award them five stars. read more

Knowledgeable staff and so many supplements! The staff is always considerate and willing to help. I have compounded meds for my dog made here. It's not cheap, but I trust them so we don't complain. I've used Las Colinas pharmacy for a year and I've never had an issue getting my four prescriptions filled in a timely manner. Always in less that 24 hours. I have been using Las colinas pharmacy for a year now.I go there every month and found them to be very knowledgeable. We have tried a few other compounding pharmacies in the city and these guys are definitely better than the ones we have tried. They have gotten friendlier over time. They are always available to answer questions and will also advice you by phone especially if you react to medications or have side effects from it. I use to fill my prescriptions here a couple years back before they closed on the location on Oconnor. I was told they didn't have my prescription in stock and would be given a call back once they ordered and received it. This was the week of Thanksgiving- well I never received a call.. I was not told how long it would take... I dropped it off 11/24- 2 days before Thanksgiving. So pretty much I've been waiting around to hear back, well it has been almost a month and I come to the store and they tell me that they cannot fill my prescription because it's been over 21 days since they first received it and for C2 drugs- the prescription is void after that time. Why would the pharmacy not call me to tell me that my prescription would be expired? I never received a call to tell me that it has even arrived. No apology from anybody here but blank stares. Pretty irritating and poor service. I feel like I made a mistake moving my prescriptions here now. There is nothing more annoying then me having to call my own doctor to write me another prescription because the pharmacy I was using failed to do what they told me. Now I need to explain to my doctor I need another prescription because she can't even call in this prescription in. Thanks for nothing UPDATE. So I called my doctor and I need to pay a fee to get a prescription written again and also drive 30 minutes from where I live to pick it up. I spoke to the pharmacy and they said that the people in the front sometimes don't know what types of medications they are filling and to ask for Dennis the next time I am there. You live and you learn, I will probably be taking my medication to Gibsons Pharmacy in Irving or find a new pharmacy that can properly train their employees from preventing errors like this from happening. Of course it's not money from their pocket, it's ultimately money and time from mine. read more

This place has tried to screw me over since they were on O'conner Rd (Irving). Yelp will probably take this post down but I sincerely warn you to make copies of your meds before turning them in to this place. I know that is illegal to do that but they WILL mess you around. I've been merciful to them but they wouldn't stop and I'm easy going. They tried to say I did not have refills when I did on many occasions. All they could do was get impatient with me like I was a pest then when I showed them proof they would say "Woops!" or just be rude. I have seen other customers get upset with them too. The last time took the cake although the time before that they waited till I got home and said they were out of the meds and couldn't get more (After saying so) so I had to drive all the way back and get the script and take it elsewhere. Today they said the date was wrong on my triplicate and when I told them to give it back they kept jerking it out of my reach and made me show my drivers license before giving me back the script. Pharmacy Plus was happy to take it and didn't second guess me. They have always been the best. I think there is something fishy going on with that place! They are overpriced and more like a tourist attraction than a serious pharmacy. Beware!! I am a quiet easy going guy. read more
