I wish I could leave 0 stars. Took my truck in for some ck engine light work. Long story short, 26…read moredays later I get my truck back. They never called me to tell me the truck was going to take longer - It was I who called them for updates. Every update consisted of "waiting on parts". Meanwhile I'm struggling to find rides to work... So the truck comes home after I've bought a new car as I was tapped out on rides and desperately needed transportation. I at one point even asked for a loaner - was told they could rent me a car at $50.00+ dollars a day. Unreal! Enterprise is cheaper! When the truck was finally ready I was at work and my wife was kind enough to pick the car up. Then the truck sat for 3 weeks. I finally needed it to go to HD for lumber and when I got I'm like - oh SNAP guess what I saw? My dash all BUSTED UP! I looked at the receipt and it turns out they did recall airbag work and never said a word to me. This was UNAUTHORIZED work. Recall? Ok fix it, but at least TELL ME! I drove straight to the dealer. The service dept manager was out and they led me to the dealer asst manager (I think). I explained the situation and he harped on the fact that 3 weeks had passed. I explained that it sat for 3 weeks because they had taken so long to fix it that I got another car and didn't have to drive the truck. I informed the big man that if the dash didn't get fixed it was a big effin problem for me. Apparently this touched a nerve, as I was told if I "cursed at him again" he will just tell me to leave. I told him I'm pissed my truck came back the way it did, and what did he expect?? He continued to have hurt feelings so I let it rest. He looked at the truck and said it shouldn't be an issue. This was the attitude he should have had from jump. Ten phone calls and over a week later they say drop the truck, sashboard part is in. I drop the truck and the next morning I get a call from the service department asking why my truck is there. Are you effing kidding me???? They fixed it and I got it back the next day. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I promise I will never even CONSIDER spending another nickel there. The incompetence was astounding, the employee attitude was hostile, and the honesty was ABSENT. HEALEY DODGE WILL DO YOU DIRTY. If you go there after reading this then you deserve however badly they treat you. STEER CLEAR! DANGER! STEER CLEAR! DANGER! Look at my pictures and think, "How could they possibly give a car back like that???"

Torturous ordeal!!!…read more When my car was totaled I dreaded the prospect of going from dealership to dealership to buy a replacement. Lured in by Carvana's 7 day full refund return I decided to give Carvana a try. I followed their instructions which involved several steps and was assured over the phone that all my vehicle would be ready for pickup in 2 days at 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. That would have been OK as I was planning a week-end getaway. That Friday morning I got a text telling me that the car would be ready for pickup as promised. I had lost confidence in their communications as I had to make several phones during the application process due having unexpected additional steps required. So I called Carvana to make sure that all was in order. I was told that the copy of my registration gad not yet arrived at the pickup location and that the car could be given to until it did. This was particularly disturbing because I was emphatically told that the registration had to be Fed Exed to the pick up location after I suggested that I simply deliver it myself since the place was only ten minutes away from me. I complied with their instructions, but was later told that by the pick up location that I could have dropped it off myself the day before. Without repeating what appears in many reviews here similar to mine, I can only urge you to reconsider other options before using Carvana.

I had an extremely upsetting experience with Carvana, both in terms of their policies and how their…read morecustomer service treated me. I began a purchase for a 2021 Land Rover Range Rover Velar through Carvana. On March 19, 2026, I received an email from Carvana that my order had been approved. Later that same day, before midnight, I decided I no longer wanted the vehicle and canceled the purchase. I then received another email from Carvana confirming that "Your vehicle purchase was canceled on March 19 at 11:58 p.m. EDT" and that my refund was being reviewed and processed. In other words, I canceled the same day I was approved, well within roughly 24 hours, and long before the car was ever shipped or in transit. The issue is a 690‑dollar "nonrefundable" shipping fee. The day before, on March 18, 2026 at 5:46 p.m. EDT, Carvana emailed me saying they had "initiated your nonrefundable payment of $690.00" to cover shipping and labeled it a "Nonrefundable shipping charge" to my Citibank account. In a small note at the bottom of that email, they added that if I canceled my order by March 19, 2026 at 5:46 p.m. EDT, they would refund the shipping fee. While I did not cancel by that exact timestamp, I did cancel later on March 19--within about 24 hours of approval--and before any shipping actually began or any transport service was provided. Despite the fact that my order was approved and canceled the same day and the vehicle never moved an inch, Carvana refused to refund the 690‑dollar shipping fee. When I contacted support via chat and spoke with an advocate named Amanda, I explained that the car was never shipped, that my purchase and cancellation happened within roughly 24 hours, and that I had emails confirming both approval and cancellation on March 19. Instead of looking at the situation reasonably, Amanda repeatedly hid behind the "nonrefundable" label and the technical 5:46 p.m. cutoff, showed no flexibility, and showed no understanding that they were keeping hundreds of dollars for a service that was never actually rendered. She thanked me for my "patience" while essentially refusing to help. In my view, this is exactly how a policy becomes predatory: Carvana takes a large "nonrefundable" shipping fee up front, then keeps it even when a customer cancels quickly, the car is never shipped, and the company has not actually provided the service that fee is supposed to cover. It may be technically within their fine print, but it feels like they are profiting from customers' cancellations rather than acting in good faith. I will never buy a car from Carvana again, and I strongly encourage others to think very carefully before paying any shipping fee or relying on their customer service to treat you fairly.

Dealing with people who are happy is easy, dealing with people who have a problem with their vehicle is a much harder feat. I had an issue with my brand new 2014 Subaru Forester and I truly feel that Mid Hudson Subaru did everything in their power to help me from initially attempting to fix the issue and then finally working with Subaru to replace the vehicle. Leadership starts from the top and Peter Maher, the owner, exemplifies that. Every promise he made me along the way, he honored. That's very respectable in my book. The manager, Kevin, is also caring, helpful and not your typical car dealer manager. Mid Hudson's sales team is great and Michelle is the best car salesperson i've ever dealt with. She knows the cars, doesn't play games, gives you a great price and makes buying a car an easy and pleasurable process. The service department is also really good. Rob Bosch is the manager and cares about his customers. I've dealt with him directly several times and the guy really wants to help you. I can't say enough good things about this dealership and I actually recently went back and bought my wife a Legacy.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had buying a used car. Besides the owner being…read morecondescending, arrogant and treating customers like absolute garbage, he also seems to have an anger management problem. In addition, the car he sold me was complete garbage and it several problems were covered up (by someone??). During my first trip here, I test drove a car that was mediocre. Dave, the owner, was very nice to me. The price was way too high for the old age and high mileage of the car. I attempted to negotiate. His anger issues quickly showed and he began carrying on like a lunatic. He then advised me that he does not negotiate at all. He continued to lecture me and repeatedly insisted that I'll never find another car priced lower than his. Not true since I found dozens of cars online much cheaper with lower mileage within a 50 mile radius. However, I was not willing to drive that far -- this was only for a beater car, not my primary vehicle. So I walked. Several weeks later, I returned to test drive a newly listed car. Dave was a stereotypical used car salesman and pitched a great line of garbage. He boasted how great he is because he offers a 30 day warranty (which he's required to do by law) and assured me how wonderful he is with fulfilling warranty repairs. I bought the car. That night, I went to drive the car for the first time and I found numerous lights were out. They had just performed a NYS inspection that same day...allegedly. The next day, I went in and they replaced all of the bulbs that had blown. I wondered if they really inspected the vehicle. One missing headlight could be overlooked. Not numerous lights out throughout the vehicle. On a hunch, I plugged in my computer and some data was missing. Someone had apparently erased the data, possibly to reset a "check engine" light. I knew trouble was coming. Several days later after I had been driving the car, the "check engine" light was on. Dave scheduled an appointment and got me in a week later. He repaired the problem under the warranty, as he was legally obligated to do. However, he continued boasting what a great service he did. Lights on my dashboard were also out. When I mentioned that to him, he began going off like a raving lunatic. He hinted to a threat by saying, "I haven't registered your vehicle yet!" (Four weeks later, the registration finally came). Dave told me point blank he would NOT start repairing all of these problems. So much for all of his blabber about how great he is with fulfilling warranty repairs. Since then, I've had NUMEROUS problems with the vehicle. By rights, I should've insisted that he fixed everything or went on to sue him. It wasn't worth the hassle since I know a lot more than I let onto Dave, and I was able to fix everything myself. I still continue having non-stop problems with this vehicle - and it only has 45,000 miles on it. I often wonder if he buys used cars from the junk yard, waxes them, and sells them. STAY AWAY.
