I love their food a lot, especially their burgers, but I'm not very appreciative of this and think that maybe with some of the new updates that the outside window should maybe go with them or at least let people know that are standing outside that they should be served second to all the people that are already waiting inside. The nice lady told me they usually swap between the two and she was sorry, i dont blame her for not keeping track of who was there first, but the system kind of set her up for "failure" since thats they way they do it, and have done it. Also not like the guy corrected her so he knew what he was doing when he seen the line and went to the window instead. The lady behind me ended up trying to go through the drive thru with 2 cars in front her (same position she was in line inside) because she seen her prioritize that window over the true order in which people showed up. Loyal for years, this isnt running me off, but i think with a lot of the newer changes to update the place, this could just be one more thing that is improved by either taking the window out, or have a way of keeping up with the order of the line.

However, I prefer the sweet, mild taste of Bison over beef, not covered up with any condiments. So, next time no onions or bacon jam. The fries were thin sliced from fresh potatoes. Fresh tasting, but unfortunately a little flaccid as fresh cut fries can be if they are not properly rinsed and blanched first. If you are expecting crispy fries, these won't work for you. Order a different side. Back to Simone. This little lady is high energy, very friendly and does a fantastic job representing the business. She is a rabid OU fan and today was the big game against Texas. She was going wild listening to the close game. She made the visit to The Bird and Bison as pleasurable as the food. According to him it is 100% Bison, not blended with beef. That is what I was hoping to hear. I asked about the origin. He seemed pretty sure the owner purchases the processed Bison meat from Native American raised livestock. That's even better and would match the restaurants mission. My wife and I had burgers our first time, she the cheeseburger and I the Juicy Lucy, which is a cheeseburger on steroids (the menu says "more cheese than anyone should eat"--which is exactly why I ordered it). Our son always has the catfish; after I snitched a bite, catfish went to the top of my gotta-order-next-time list. But I didn't--I ordered the Hangover. You'll have to eat there to find out what it is. What else can I say? Anything on the menu is good. And don't forget to order fries--they're hand cut and homemade. All in a nut shell i wish i could make a movie or a sitcom about this place and call it " Big Hair" because as i think of this dinner it would be a epic movie or sitcom.
