The ONLY reason why I gave one star is because when giving a review it's not allowed to not give any stars at all. I would have not given ANY stars. I'm not a person who does reviews but I absolutely had to give a review because my experience was so horrible. No woman or man should go in an establishment looking to come out feeling beautiful or handsome only to be appalled at the outcome. I'm a professional myself and when someone is servicing me, I'm one to give a tip even if the service is not good. I treat people nice because you never know what people go thru and it makes me cringe when I hear customers demanding things and saying all the things they don't like and never what they do. I went in for an eyebrow threading just because I was passing by on the way out. Im not from the area, I'm a travel nurse and would be flying home in a couple days so I just wanted to get my eyebrows cleaned up for the thanksgiving holidays. I SPECIFICALLY told her that I wanted my eyebrows to be cleaned up and nothing taking off. She said nothing and I repeated myself. She immediately started to thread my eyebrows with no real patience to what she was doing and kept demanding me to pull my eyelids super tight. When she handed me the mirror after she was done, I immediately told her that I did not like her work at all and that she did a horrible job. This is so unlike me, and I stuck to who I am as a person and preceded to pay her the cost of the eyebrow thread but I did not give a tip. Which also is so unlike me. I still remained respectful. She told me she didn't take anything off my eyebrows and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I told her absolutely not!!I left and went to sit in my car to leave. But I looked in the mirror and immediately got out my car to go back because I could not be ok with paying for a service so foul that left me in my eyes deformed. When I arrived back at the studio she was sitting down and I told her "Mam, I'm sorry but I need my refund because I can't pay for something like this" she responded with "we don't do refunds"... I said well can I have your name? She said why do you want my name. I told her because if I can't get my refund then I'm going to have to write a review to prevent women coming here to feel beautiful only to leave feeling insecure because of a horrible job. At this point my soul was on fire but I remained as calm and respectful as I could. I showed her a picture of my eyebrows before I sat in her chair and then compared it to a picture that I took of her horrible job(which I will post). I asked her look at my eyebrows and look at your eyebrows, would you want someone to do the type of work on your eyebrows as you did on mine?! She then obliged and gave me my refund in cash which she shook her head the whole time. I told her I think if her attitude and customer service was better maybe she would have been able to listen to what I requested of her. By this time my boyfriend was on the phone and when I left, I couldn't make it out the store good before I was in tears. I'm 27, a nurse, who loves helping others and understand that we are all flawed and it's not humanely possible to be perfect. But I was so mad and hurt that I received that type of treatment (although i'm used to it with my profession). Long story short God is good, and in addition he made us so wonderfully that we can say things like "it's hair it will grow back". That's the bright side of it all. To the owner who unfortunately did my eyebrows, I hope you do better. You and I can both use this as a learning experience. Although I feel you learned nothing, I learned that it's ok to stick up for yourself while remaining respectful. Please take my review as caution. read more

After making a phone call to complain, come to find out it was the owner of the business that decided it was appropriate to comment on my sons stage of growing. I went to go get my eyebrows and my handicapped son was in his stroller as he is unable to walk. She stated that he should be walking, to which I followed that he is unable. I walked in and immediately felt uncomfortable. The lady who worked there was seemed like she was mad that I even walked in. Nasty attitude, didn't greet me or anything. I grew my eye brows out for 3 months. So that I can get them cleaned up only. I sat down and told her that I preferred that they aren't thin, just a clean up. She said nothing, I asked her if she heard me and she said yes I heard you with an attitude. Then she does my eye brows super thin. Like completely forget the customers preference. If your seeking a full brow sculpture or just a touch up, this is a great place for either. The owner doesn't really speak much but her work speaks for itself. The finished product on this brow threading is amazing. People always ask where I get them done. The nice thing about this location is that they have an actual store rental as opposed to the kiosk. The wait is never too long. Among other types of eyebrow maintence, threading lasts about as long as using a razor, but the effect of threading is much cleaner if done by the correct person. Every single time I walk in, the lady that works there acts horribly rude. I usually go to this one just because the location is more convenient for me but trust me it's the last time I'm ever going into that salon. Anytime she does my brows she never asks how I'd like them she orders me to sit a certain way in the chair and yells at me if my hand positioning is wrong as if I'm supposed to know! Today when I went in I again was disappointed with the service so I decided I'm just gonna pay for the last time and that I'm never going in again as I go to pay I only have a $20 and asked her for change and says "how much?" I came here since they were originally in a kiosk and then they moved to this bigger location. I loved the older lady but this new younger person just was horrible today and by the sounds of other reviews is naturally a bish. She kept criticizing me on the way I was holding my eyes and kept talking sh*t to me. "This must be your first time here." I told her no. " Then how come you don't know what to do." Her demeanor was not professional and just made me feel so angry. I couldn't curse her out right then and there because she was doing my eyebrows. Went there for the first time a few weeks ago they did fantastic. My best friend has gone there for years and they always look nice.

I usually go to fracassi but they were busy, and I didn't want to wait. So my friend, and I decide to walk into brow studio. We walk in, and noticed a lady being cashed out. So we are like perfect the place is empty. She will have enough time to work on me. As we are in line, the lady behind the desk yells out "WHOSE NEXT?" So I'm like me after looking around. . She tells me to go sit in the chair she just sprayed. I get to the chair it's wet. I'm wearing a skirt, so I let her know the chair is still wet. Could you please wipe it? She literally grabbed a tissue and not event a paper towel to fake wipe. She then orders me, and not asked me to sit. Usually I try to give people a chance. Maybe she is tired and ready to go home. So I suck it up and sit. As soon as I sit this lady grabs her equipment. Hasn't washed her hands, or even ask me how I would like my brows done. She orders me to hold my eyes. I'm still trying to be understanding at this point. But then she yells at me to use both hands like I'm supposed to know this. I look at her and Im like nope. Forget this, I'm not letting you with your attitude touch me. I walked away. She was acting like she was doing me a favor. I'm a paying customer, and deserve respect. I wish I read the reviews before coming to this slum of a place. So my advice is sis to save your coin. read more

Came with a friend to get our brows threaded. My brows were ok, she took off a little more than I wanted but it will grow back. My lady friend wasn't happy. She was bleeding rather badly and didn't like the shape of her brows. The price was really reasonable and there was little wait time. The chairs were comfy and the overall experience was good. I went to get my brows done today and I will never return because the woman who works in there needs to take a customer service course because hers is horrible. She acts as if we are not to respond to the hair being yanked out of our face. It hurts so a reaction from the discomfort is normal. The price is great for eyebrow threading but the customer service is terrible. My brows were done to my liking, but I would be more comfortable coming back if the lady was nicer. She just pointed at a chair and told me to hold my eye and when I didn't do it correctly she rudely repositioned my hands. When it was done, she barely cleaned the plucked hairs away from my face. I would give her at least 4 stars if she was nicer and wasn't so rude. I understand that she may not know much English, but a simple smile really wouldn't hurt. The actually eyebrow threading is average, however they do them too thin frequently. There are two people that work there, one who is 90% of the time very rude and completely unfriendly and the second who is nicer but breathes cigarette breath all over you every time she does your eyebrows. I went back last week to get my eyebrows touched up. My friend came in town to visit and pretty much said my brows looked haggard, so we stopped in to get some quick service. My regular lady who I usually let thread my brows was with another customer so I decided to give the younger lady another try. To my surprise, she did a very good job. I guess she just needed to improve her craft and originally I was the guinea pig but this time around she definitely hooked me up. Unfortunately I have to give this place 2 stars because although I like how my brows turned out the customer service for lack of better terms sucked. I was not greeted I just told the woman at the desk I wanted my eyebrows done and she pointed at the chair. The worker was cold and disinterested from the start and you could tell she didn't want to be there. This was my first time getting my brows threaded so I was not familiar with the processes. She told me to "hold my eye" and was obviously frustrated when I did not do it the correct way even though she had not said a word to me up until this point except "hold your eye" I felt like she was trying to make me feel dumb when she needed to explain further what she wanted me to do. Another thing that bothered me is they did not once ask if I had any preferences about my brows. Although the results were fine my experience left me uncomfortable and I will not be back. I have been to more expensive places like Brow Biz in Greece but nothing compares to Brow Studio 7! The older Indian lady with the long hair (sorry I can't be more specific, she's coincidentally always the only person there whenever I go) does my brows; I always leave so happy and feel like she's freshened my face. And the price is great (you spend 3 or 4 times more at other places that claim to be "brow sculptors"). As far as the pain, I know most people say it hurts, but I honestly don't feel a thing when she does it but this may be because I have been threading for years. read more

The lady who threaded my eyebrows seemed to be in a bad mood. When I first came in it was my first time getting my eyebrows done and I didn't know what to expect. I went in with my friends and we had to wait for another person to finish up. After they paid, the lady told be to sit down in the chair so I sat. She told me to keep moving different ways in my chair and it was hard to understand what she was saying because she spoke another language. When we started after her practically yelling at me how to sit in the chair, she told me to hold my face. It was painful how the strings took off the hairs, it felt like a burning sensation. When we were done she gave me a tissue to wipe the hairs of of my face and let me look in the mirror. I was horrified. She not only made my eyebrows super thin, but she also trimmed the hairs to be so short that I barely had any hairs there. I lied and said I liked them and then went to pay. I was very disappointed in the whole experience and will never go there again nor will I recommend anyone else to go there. Two months later and my eyebrows finally grew back and are looking good to me. read more
