I look forward to my hair appointments here because I know they will work magic on my hair and listen to everything I have to say about it. My stylist always asks all the right questions about my hair type, texture, and how I'm regularly taking care of it. She's knowledgeable about the science behind my hair as well, from growth to dryness to volume. She asks how I like to wear it and gives me tips to help me achieve what I want with my hair. Plus, the staff all seem to be friendly with each other and having fun, which always makes an environment feel more positive. I have nothing but good things to say about Gallery Salon and would happily recommend it for folks looking for a new salon.

It's lopsided, she didn't do a single thing I requested and charged me $30 she overcharged me. . She was sarcastic and petty, she kept telling me i had the coolest haircut. This is so disappointing, i loved the places now i am going back to Encore That older gentleman will do a better job.

I usually wear my hair down, so to do an up-do was something different for me, but she made me feel confident and and I would totally consider doing an up-do for any other event that I have in the future. Only done by Mykel of course! Not only is she talented, but she is a beautiful person inside and out. She truly knows what she is doing when it comes to hair. I've always been satisfied, and, am the first to admit I can be fussy; I mean, who really isn't when it comes to looking nice?! I've always felt welcomed & heard. Tammy is as amazing & surely the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I would rave to everyone & anyone who I spoke w/ about how great they are. Fast forward & my latest experience really has me bummed out. I couldn't get in b/c getting an appt. is very difficult w/ the schedule lately & especially if you prefer your normal stylist. I felt comfortable enough to try someone new & trusted that I would be just as pleased. No offense b/c this person is super kind/nice & nothing personal, but, I surely wish that the professionals would have walked me through a bit more w/ how my grays would react adversely to the bleach highlights. My hair is soo super dry now & my nice & normally long layers are super choppy & unruly & are driving me nuts. I loved that Tessa was so conservative w/ her charging me & she's always charged me the very same amount. It's been nice for sure. I was charged much more (I respect the fact that most likely due to the dumb highlights I thought I would be pleased w/), but, still NOT happy that I spent so much to now be so unhappy & stuck w/ a dried head of choppy layers that aren't falling smooth & as sweet as they used to. Again, yes, fussy, but, when we go to a salon & especially one we've gone to many, many times b4 I would surely hope to be happy enough w/ the hairstyle/services at least until the next time. Not so. I'm bummed.:((((( ***Update*** Not quite sure how to update, but had to b/c let me tell you Tammy the owner is the bomb. She's amazing & quickly got back to me. She has provided me some products to help & did so ever so quickly. I've revised my review b/c she has reached out to me w/ kindness & I appreciate that.

I once spent $50 on a double French braid here, as a way to manage my hair on a camping trip. I had to take the braids out within an hour because they looked so bad. I ended up paying a random person on the street $10 to re-braid my hair with love light and product, and it was gorgeous.
