I didn't mention his mat, but they automatically offered to bring my dog a towel to lay on, which he loved. Lisa asked many clarification questions as to the look I was going for. She let me show her pics and describe my experience with my natural waves and certain products. She told me we would take off the majority of the bangs and then come back after she'd cut the back. Aside from adding subtle layers, I asked her to take off very little length. She listened, which is not ways the case with stylists as we all well know! She then made three passes at my bangs based on not wanting to take off too much. I really appreciated her level of care, empathy, and patience with my service dog and me. I also discussed starting demi coloring with her and asked several questions about products she used to style my fresh cut. I loved how she didn't push products on me like some people do.
