When I texted her photos afterwards politely expressing my disappointment (with trial and wedding photos attached), she did not offer to refund me but instead offered to redo my hair and makeup again for wedding photo retakes - strange, as how I clearly could not retake photos from that day and had no plans to pay tons of money for another post-wedding photo shoot?? I did a makeup trial for our engagement photo session a few months before the wedding, and Crystal created a natural look that accentuated my best features. In addition to being a top-notch makeup artist, Crystal was a pleasure to work with -- she was responsive to emails and flexible with scheduling (about a week before the wedding, I realized that it would be better if she could start at 9 am on our wedding day instead of the previously agreed upon 10:30 am, and she was able to accommodate the change). Also, Crystal's good taste in music may not seem particularly relevant in this situation, but the music she streamed during the trial and wedding makeup sessions helped create a cheerful and celebratory mood, which helped me relax.
