That said, the lash design and mapping were not a fit for me. The set came out much more glam than what I was hoping for: very long, volumized, and low-set. On my eyes, the lashes hung forward, hit my glasses, and partially obstructed my vision. They also felt heavy on my naturally fine lashes. It's just not my personal style. The full set took about an hour, which made the experience feel more focused on speed than on customized eye-shape mapping. I do want to give credit where it's due: when I reached out, the studio was responsive and professional, offered to fix the set, and ultimately issued a partial refund, which I really appreciated. The studio is also reasonably priced and easy to book. This may be a great fit for clients who like bolder, dramatic, traditional glam lashes. If you're looking for a lighter or more natural/modern style, it may not be the best match. One additional thing to note is that the studio uses an open floor plan with multiple beds and clients in a shared room, which is consistent with the lower price point and worth knowing before you book.

I've gone from the first set, which I thought was too much and then to the refill session, which she made less full with length (pretty!), this last time around, I decided I wanted to go for a shorter length and again, they looked so nice. She really is fantastic with how well she's able to customize eyelash extensions. During the second lash session, I noticed I had a pretty mean mustache going and she offered to wax it for me, so I asked if she could do my eyebrows too. She gave me the best eyebrow wax I've had in a whiiiiile. My eyebrows are thin and sparse, I have to fill them in a little. They're often "over waxed" by estheticians, but they look even and perfect even without any eyebrow powder. She really is very talented and all of these 5 star reviews are well deserved.

Melissa is timely, honest, and hardworking. She has been a lash tech for years now, and, although her locations have changed, she still does as much as she can to cater to her clients. Very rarely does she cancel on me or change my appointments last minute (and if she does change it, it's always if I can come earlier in the day, not an entirely different day. And lucky for me, they got to me within 10 minutes! First and foremost the layout of the salon is very modern and very well kept--everything is in its place and all work areas were clean without smelling like cleaning solution. Definite thumbs up. The ladies here are extremely nice. I think what surprised me most, is how quiet the shop was. Literally silent despite the audibles of nails being worked on. The customers--three of four chairs taken--weren't talking to the nail techs and the nail techs only spoke to ask questions. Definitely a change of pace from other salons I've been to. Setting the expectation-- this isn't your average salon for pedicures... while you do get a big comfy chair to sit in, there is no fancy massager built-in or a giant bubbling basin to soak your feet in.
